It's believed he started his adventure called life in Japan amongst a bunch of gypsies and slave traders. Sometime after living amongst a bunch of women teaching him to cook, clean, read, write and survive amongst the wild, his little band was attacked by bandits and he was the only survivor due to a wandering swordsman killing the bandits and taking him in. He learned how to use a sword during his time with the man, but made the mistake of leaving in an attempt to stop unjustified killing. This, however, led to some more bad choices made on his part. He eventually met up with some other people that taught him mechanics and construction.
