Those Hunter’s where not getting her Fear.

The thought, her last thought echoed in its finality as the last of her life bleed out onto the cell floor; and without it everything went dark, darker then dark because she was nothing and that was all she was ever going to be again and she wasn’t even aware of it. If she was, she’d be thankful though because if she was nothing then she wasn’t a weapon.

Which was why when her breath, her life, her existence slammed back into her with the force of a freight train then first thing she did was scream.

Scream like the world was ending, because it was, scream until she blue and couldn’t breathe, because maybe should we die again then and not return. Scream and scream and scream until her throat felt raw and red and finally her eyes snapped open from the sheer pain of living.

Her scream cut of; breath stuttering in utter confusion as she slowly got it under control.

She was home. S-She was in her dorm. Amity wasn’t a crumbled shell anymore

A pained keen ripped itself from her throat.

Had it all been a dream? A nightmare?! It had felt so real, nothing that had ever haunted her sleeping hours had been like that, not even the hazy days following the island.

Her mind could not have come up with that. Not have come up wit-

OH JACK ASTRA.

The ghoul was sprinting from her room before anything more had time to register, a note on her desk fluttering down to the floor that had not been there before going unnoticed.

The run between Monster dorms and Reaper dorms seemed to stretch forever, her mind going almost as fast as her feet. If it hadn’t been a dream she didn’t know what it had been exactly then but no matter what finding herself alive after dying was not odd, students died all the time. But Astra, Astra had become a weapon. Who knew what that had done to whatever had transported them.

Mandy pushed through the main doors of Reaper dorm with nary a care for the alarmed students around her, so focused she was on the dorm number in her mind. She could not have been more thankful that they had traded dorm location for the trails then she was now.

As she neared her final destination she started to shout out, hoping for a reply. “ASTRA! ASTRA! ASTRAAAAAAAA!”

The fairy’s door came into view. Mandy did not stop.

Instead, she barrelled straight through the door – shoulder first, not caring for the pain it caused.

She needed to see Astra now.

If the two that had barged into her room had noticed, they would have seen a few minipets had gathered around the edge of the fairies bed, now scattering when both Mandy and Yuki had run in, only to encroach upon the bed once more. Puff was sitting on the bed, Along with Fizzles, and they did not look happy. They could tell something was wrong with their owner.

And said owner, still asleep, was almost as pale as Yuki was. She had hardly moved, or even breathed, for a while.

That was until her eyes suddenly snapped open, and she sat up right with a scream, a blood curdling scream that was not the first, nor probably the last, to be heard that night. She screamed because she had been hurt, she had been lost, and above all she was screaming because she could now. She was Astra, not a jacking weapon to be used by hunters.

And she was also face to face with a bare boils chest.

Not to mention a ghoul with undies and a bra on

..."What...." She said, utterly confused. She had heard people shouting her name, and now she was surrounded by

"...Mandy? Yuki?" Her voice quavered, eyes filling up with water, before a heart rending sob was torn from her lips. She now started to wail pitifully, hands brought up to hide her face as the tears feel freely.

It was probably a good thing that he arrived just before the poor fae sat up in her own terrified awakening, or else he probably would have begun another mental breakdown at her deathly pale state. As much as that scream brought back the horrible memories of the trial, it signaled that she was alive, she was there and she was safe.

As Mandy flung herself onto the foot of the bed to hug the small reaper, Yuki was soon right there too. At least he actually had sleeping pants on, rather than being in the state of near undress that Mandy was in. He didn't notice or care, though. All he wanted was to hold Astra, Mandy too, glad that they were safe and that the horrible trial was over.

"I thought I'd lost you!" Yuki said through a shaking voice of his own, only temporarily able to keep from crying. It didn't last long, with the two ghouls breaking down. He simply squeezed Astra (and probably Mandy in the process) as though if he let her go she would really be gone.

If she wasn’t so busy being mentally scared and sobbing out emotions that had been building up for what seemed forever Mandy probably would have smiled at Yuki for including her in his hug. Or snapped at him to respect her personal space bubble.

It was a 50/50 thing with her.

"I-It's not your fault! Im the team leader! I-I was the one that asked you guys to t-team up again with me! I should h-have stopped them or been- or been," Mandy sobbed harder, "the one!"

She hugged Astra harder irrationally scared that just mentioning the incident would disappear the ghoul and not noticing how vice like their group hug had become.

Yuki was right. Their experience was only a nightmare, although a very powerful one. Astra had had plenty of nightmares before, ones that woke her up in a cold sweat screaming. But this one...it felt different. It was just so...real. It was nothing like her previous ones.

And yet, it was still just a nightmare. She was awake now, and she would just have to make sure that what had happened, to everyone else as well as herself, wouldn't come to pass.

"N-no...It's okay..." She said to Mandy, her voice muffled. "I...I wouldn't want anyone to experience that...."

And then she went limp. Most likely from lack of oxygen.
