At the age of 14, he learned about the benefits of winning the Hunger Games so he decided, that was what he wanted to do that was what he wanted the most. So after telling his parents that this was his choice, his father was proud of him but his mother cried for days but in the end she came around and supported him. So after two years of training he believes he is ready for the hunger games.
