 Katriel, 25-ish Formerly the alpha-female of a small pack of Canadian werewolves, until a logging accident destroyed their home. Her mate died, but beyond that, she doesn't know if anyone else survived. She adopted two real-wolf puppies to keep her company as she heads west towards the BC coastline, thinking to set up residence on one of the protected islands. She likes running, going barefoot, and the smell of August rain in blackberries. She doesn't like vegetarians, small spaces, or the high-pitched sound made by electronics. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was thinking of just starting a new RP with her. She doesn't really have much development as yet--she was kind of a spur-of-the-moment creation. I figured I needed someone to balance out Scarlet the Vampire. razz

I tried here, but it didn't work well. ^_^ I have no idea what senario to set up, beside Katriel trying to make it out west and getting hung up looking for work.

hmm.... I dunno, wherewolves are interesting creatures in that they tend to be pack-animals... but the best part I think is reconciling their wolf-nature with their human-nature.
you seem to be getting that much down emotionally... perhaps the story can be one which presents alot of those crises for her?

That's kind of what I'm thinking. Scarlet the Vampire is rich and popular and influential, all things I wish I was, so that's why she's fun. But Katriel is broke, down on her luck, pack-less, and hoping for a break. She's also got a stronger maternal instinct, which is very different from Scarlet who has a lot of mom-issues. I really like the contrast between the two.
All I really need is a partner or two. (nudge-nudge-wink-wink)

So far, my story is that Katriel needs under-the-table work to keep her pups in good health and to make the next (maybe final?) leg of her journey to the west coast of British Columbia. Your character could offer her a job or connect her to someone else who can. Or maybe your character discovers her pups and threatens to go to the wildlife authorities. Transporting wolves is dangerous, you know. wink

I like the first idea. he could offer her a job, and find out her secret that way. smile like this. so, what kinda job would be a good fit for the story? resturaunt? metaphysical shop? I wouldn't dare say bookstore...

The shop attendant or a waitress at a club would work out well. Hard labor like constduction work, landscaping, or working with animals could also suit, and there are plenty of funny scenarios that can result from each.
