Post here if your character has been approved, and only if your character has been approved. You find yourself in a large area, your team put out by your village for diplomatic reasons to the stage. (Think of it as the chunin exams arena) Though no fighting is taking place, feel free to socialize with the other deployed genin.

SUISEN••KORONI Suisen stretched out his limbs, popped his neck of couple of times. He closed his eyes, lifting his head skyward feeling the warmth of the sun on his face. She let a much needed sigh of contentment before calling out, "Gooooood Moooooorniiiin' Vie--what the?" He looked around and apparently was the only here, or may be the first one here? She didn't know, but he crossed his arms and pouted, Well damnit, this is just great. "Ooh I know, I'll just look sit here and look goood~!" He fluffed his hair around his shoulders so it caught the light better, being sure to keep his atennae hidden.
She stood there with as much dazzle as she could muster. "Heehee, this is going to be sooo much fun."

IKKI••AKAI Ikki let his eyes wander over the spectator in front of him. He wasn't sure of which gender it was-it looked androgynous, similar to himself, but it had...antennae. Stalking over to a corner, the boy plopped lazily down, his eyes rolling over the creature in front of him. He had yet to decide what to do, and as it stood, he wasn't sure if he should approach it, or let it approach him. Either way, they were from the same village, but that meant little-this thing was obviously from another place in Suna.
And it wasn't like Ikki could talk to it, or socialize to see just what it was...which made him sigh-a strange, gargling noise. He had to wonder just what else was going to happen today-if they were just going to sit around, or if he got to contemplate every piece of a** that went through the doors.

SUISEN••KORONI He stood there having issues hiding his antenna. She sighed, "Guess there's nothing to do about it then." Suisen spied the new kid a little bit later, he had been too busy fussing with himself. She spun around, "Oh, sillly me. Hey there gorgeous how are you? My name is Suisen, pleasure to meet your aquaintance."He walked over and sat down, staring into his eyes. They were a beautiful and striking, peridot green. She looked at him intently all that warm sunkissed skin, bright blonde hair and those eyes... she had not realized that he was staring. He quickly blinked and said, "Oh look at me prattling on and on. Forgive me." She sat up with perfect posture, if anyone had spent any amount of time with nobility or those with social status they would recognize it. Suisen waited calmy and patiently for the new boy to answer,

A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori walked into the area and immediately noticed two people already here. One of them appeared to be talking the other so she shied away from them, sitting calmly on the other side of the room. She had been told to interact with others but she was never one to approach people in friendly conversation. Most avoided her anyway. She sighed and closed her eyes, hoping to catch a word or two from their discussion. Maybe she could chime in if things got quiet, at least introduce herself. Maybe.....
.....oh wait, that was just my breath.

 The day was beautiful. The bright shining sun high above cast dark shadows through the trees. Sunlight dapple Kaito's face, shadows of color playing across the interior of his closed eyes. It was an all to familiar feeling, reminding him of that day many years ago. The day he will never forget and never quite remember. The smell of honeysuckle wafted through his senses. It was illusory however. Honeysuckle didn't grow in this region.
Opening his red eyes, it took a moment to adjust to the sunlight. "Just another specter of a stolen and desecrated past," he mused in a bitter tone.
The distant sound of voices carried on the wind from his left. The genin of the other villages had arrived. Kaito supposed he had lain on the tree branch long enough. He rolled off the limb and landed deftly on the ground.
As he walked toward the other genin, Kaito produced a cigarette from his vest. With his other hand he snapped his fingers producing a flame of chakra that engulfed the cigarette. The little roll blackened and turned to ash in an instant. Kaito sighed as the ashes scattered in the breeze.
Emerging from the trees, his eyes adjusting to the brightness of the open filed, Kaito walked to the small group of genin.
He stood there shoulders back, feet shoulder width apart with a hand in his pocket, thumb on the outside. Using his other hand he brushed his jet black hair, tipped with red, out of his eyes. "Yo, Kaito Saurtobi of Ko...no...ha?" he said in slight baritone, losing track of what he was saying. A quizzical look glossed over his features as he finally looked the others.
His red eyes flicked back and forth between the group members. All girls?! No, the cerulean haired one was definitely a girl, that blonde one with a bandaged neck (were they injured?) was a boy. The other fussing with her hair... Kaito could not decided. The more he looked the more confused he became.

IKKI••AKAI Blinking, Ikki watched the one with the antenna practically float next to him, and found that he was being stared at also. His cheeks lit up, pale blush staining his skin, and he shook his head when she asked him to introduce himself. It was more than a little difficult to speak, especially when you didn't have a tongue...so he figured for next best. A small whiteboard was next to him, and a marker, and he quickly scribbled away at it, holding it up fo the person next to him to see.'Itsuki Akkai. Call me Ikki. I don't have a tongue, so I can't really speak to you like I would want to. And...are you male or female? I can't figure it out.' With a shrug, he sat the board in his lap, and grinned-revealing a mouth full of sharpened, pointy teeth that resembled something from Mist-a shark-rather than something found in the deserts of Suna. Two more genin approached, and Ikki found his eyes wandering to them. One, a quite pretty girl, with long long hair, and a boy who seemed like he was either high, or half in the world. Either way, Ikki did like his spirit...
With a wave of his hand, he gestured to the two new people with friendly prospects, and motioned for them to come sit next to himself and Suisen. Though...they looked about as puzzled as he did over its gender. Suisen had male and female traits, and there was something about it...that reminded him of honey. It was almost if it put it off in the air, that honeyed smell. He could nearly taste it.

A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori noticed a new face make an appearance and her eyes quickly darted to him. He was from Konoha? She looked him up and down, taking in his lax stance and bored expression on his face though it was quickly replaced with a more confused one as he stared at the antennae person. She didn't know either of their names either and she shifted her gaze back to them.
She noticed after close observation that they were both sporting Suna headbands. So she was the only Kumo nin here? On another note, she was also the only girl here too....
Her thoughts were cut short as her eyes noticed someone waving to her. The blonde was gesturing for them to join them. She got up from her position and walked to over to sit next to the blonde. She sat down next to the boy and noticed the whiteboard's scrawlings. Itsuki Akkai. Ikki. Ok, and no tongue huh? That's rather annoying. I'd rather talk to this one out of these three than the others, he seems the most interesting.
The corners of her mouth twitched into a small smile at Ikki's question. Her eyes switched to the other boy. She figured it was a boy as he looked mainly androgynous. She was settling for that for now. Though she remained silent for his reply.

SUISEN••KORONI As she sat playing with her hair a couple of new people appeared. There was a boy with a jaded look about his eyes and a cigarette in his mouth, introducing himself as Kaito Sarutobi. Apparently he was from Konoha, as if on instinct Suisen's smile faltered for only a moment before returning with his usual brilliance. Suisen's family had a particular...vendetta against Konoha. Call it a falling out of sorts, if that's what banishment is called in polite conversation.
The boy appeared quite confused as to Suisen's appearance. He shrugged with a provocative look on his face. When presented with a tense or possibly dangerous situation it was her natural reaction to flirt and look attractive. Returning to the silent boy's lack of response he noticed that he had a whiteb board with a written message. " "Ikki" huh? Well aren't we full of surprises... and as for your question..."She leaned in close letting the charm drizzle of off her like a thick, rich, sweet syrup. As he approached his ear he gently whispered, "I'm complicated.. tee hee hee.." She leaned back eyeing him like a piece of savory candy when he smiled her eyes widened with glee."Oh my sharpened teeth? This boy is quite interesting indeed.. and fetching to boot." Ikki waved over a girl? "Oh thank god I'm not the only one, well... I guess that's half right? Why am I arguing with myself? I'm not it's a debate. Aaargh!"Scrunching up his delicate face, and shaking his head he looked at the girl and smiled. She was beautiful, yet isolated even when sitting next to them. She noticed the slight face tick or twitch as her gaze scanned Ikki and his white board. If she was in fact smiling at her own expense it didn't bother Suisen in the slightest.
He was different, quite peculiar in fact. But she was taught manners at a young age and even at her most disagreeable moments she was taught tact at the very least. "Hello, as I was just telling this handsome aquaintance here my name's Suisen, it's a pleasure." He extended his hand to her, wanting to test the waters, she if she really was as cold as she looked.

A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori cocked her head at the boy's whispering. Complicated? Her curiosity was piqued but she didn't want to offend by prying deeper. She nodded at the boy's greeting and introduction. She stared at his extended hand like it was foreign to her. She spoke for the first time, a soft, but icy feeling in her words.
"Kori Shirayuki. Like wise."
This guy seemed to think rather highly of himself, something that she despised highly. Her father had been like that and she and her father were not on the best terms. Something told her she wouldn't like this guy either.

IKKI••AKAI Ikki let his smile drop, a bit embarrassed as he found Suisen eying him like he was good to eat. That honey smell was oddly stronger the closer Suisen got to him, and Ikki's eyes wandered to the prominent antennae on it's forehead. 'Complex, eh?' he thought, wondering what Suisen meant by it...though it was probably in his best interests not to find out.
Turning back to their other guest, before his mind could wander any more, Ikki quickly turned back to their other guest, who introduced herself. Kori Shirayuki...her last name...Snow Princess. It seemed to suit her, and she acted as Suisen's foil, in a sense. He rubbed his whiteboard clean with his sleeve, and Ikki began to scribble on it again, wasting no time. Once his writing was finished, he held up his board for Kori to see.'You have a pretty name...it suits you. Though I think that it doesn't at the same time....you're far from an Ice Princess.'

Suisen's smile widened when she noticed he was blushing. It positively tickled her pink seeing him bashful and nervous when it came to physical confrontations. He always enjoyed getting rises out of people.
When Kori ignored her handshake Suisen was a bit put out. She wasn't just cold, she was bitchy. If that was the case he would just kill her with kindness, and physical contact and general annoyances. "Kori is it? What a lovely name for an equally lovely young woman." His eyes began to lighten to their molten honey color and intensified. No one else would know what it mean but she was very excited, this was the first female she had seen outside of the mound. Or rather first female outside of mother's influencial reach. She was a dear really, but had not found the scissors for her umbillical cord.
"Kaito is it? Come here and sit. Enjoy a beautiful day amongst new aquaintances, dare I say friends." He patted the ground beside him. She thought she should really find out if he was so bad before passing out her clan's judgement.

A cold breeze just rolled in.....
Kori turned her gaze back to Ikki's whiteboard as he cleaned it off with his sleeve. Unlike the other boy, she was interested in what he had to say....er...write.
A surprised look crossed her face as she read. No one had ever complimented on her name before. She usually chocked it up to the fact that few spoke to her in general. She awarded Ikki's comment with a wider smile, a rare one that few saw.
"Well thank you, Ikki. In a sense though I am an ice princess. My family is the head of our clan in the Cloud and since we are the Yuki clan, I am an 'ice princess'."
She herself had never thought about things like her name until now. Her name just reminded her of her family and her father. That alone made her dis like it. Her name wasn't his glory though. Her mother had named both her and her sister Furi. In a way, the only thing she received from her father was her right to live. She banished these thoughts from her mind and focused on back on Ikki and the others.

Kaito stood there a few moments watching the interactions of the others. He finished the last drag on what was left of his cigarette after his chakra had nearly burned it all to a cinder. He tilted his head back and let it lazily rise out of his mouth. He created a bit more fire with his chakra that consumed what was left. The ashes fell from his fingers, the wind listlessly carrying them away from the group.
Only mere moments in and it was fascinating to study this group. Their interactions were not what Kaito had expected. The group of genin all a seemed friendly enough. He detected no hostilities here.
The one known as Suisen patted the ground, inviting him to sit. Kaito took him up on the offer and walked over. He paused a comfortable few feet away and made a slight bow. "Thank you graciously for the invitation to join the group. Ikki, Suisen and Kori Shirayuki, I am humbled at the honor to be here and strike up an acquaintance with all of you ." He turned to each in turn and smiled. He let his gaze linger on the pale icy Kori linger slightly longer. Her smile was beautiful.
He walked forward a little more and knelt down, just out of arms reach, balancing on the balls of his feet, elbows on his knees and fingers interlaced in front of himself. Close proximity to others made Kaito, well, uncomfortable was too light of a word to use.
A slight honeyed smell crept into Kaito's sensory range. It smelled like her. Kaito's features turned dark and jerked his head to the left. "...tch." His head remained in place as he forced away the memory. After recovering, he turned back toward the group with a friendly yet tired expression.

----- Jun Yoshi Says ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Walking out onto the large area, Jun Yoshi stretched out his arms yawning slightly. He was upset that his training was being halted so his disposition wasn't exactly cheery. Though most of the time cheerful was in his description. Noticing everyone gathering he rolled his eyes, sitting down away from the group. He would have never done this unless he was forced to, a team was bad enough for him. Although he was taught to respect and trust his teammates, he hardly had faith. If he wanted to get anywhere he'd have to change his ways. He wanted to project the village but his own way which often made teachers very jagged towards him. Yawning he stared off into space, maybe hoping to get to see a butterfly, maybe that would awaken his interest if it ever happened.
