__DINNER FOR TWO__
Olivia (Ka-ray-zee) and Gloria (Zanaroo)
Where: A restaurant in Antoine District.
When: Springtime on a weekend.
Why: To discuss plans about the Cafe di Magia's approaching move.

An old black car stopped in front of a townhouse. A woman at the driver's seat, down pat with dark olive formal attire, rested her sunglasses on her forehead and looked at the rear view mirror. Staring back was a brunette, who was quickly readjusting her earrings and headband.
"Would you like me to go and get her, Gloria?" the woman turned around, now, to actually face the girl. "You did tell her that we were going to be here, yes?"
"I would like to get her with you, if that is possible. Thank you, Allegra," Gloria mentioned, gingerly returning a flushed smile, "Of course I did! I called her before we left."
Allegra shrugged, nodded, and exited the car, pulling the passenger's door open for Gloria. Gloria scootched out toward the side, giving Allegra a small kiss on the cheek as a quick thank you. Sighing, the taller woman closed the car door, walking towards the townhouse area, already familiar with exactly where they were going.
"You know, they do not kiss cheeks as a thank you in the United States," Allegra mentioned. "And are you sure you would not like a cell phone, Gloria? It would be easier to contact you when you're out. I get worried."
"I can borrow Olivia's or Allison's, if you must reach me," Gloria mentioned, smoothing out her skirt just as they reached their alloted doorstep. The girl and woman stopped in near unison, and turned to face each other; Gloria smiled, less wearily this time around. "They're quite a waste of time otherwise, don't you think?"
Gloria pressed the doorbell.
Allegra shrugged off the answer rather nonchalantly, then scratched her cheek. "I guess we'll talk about it some other time. Ah, why did you want me to accompany you...?"
"I would like you to invite Olivia's parents. It would be courteous to take them out to dinner, don't you think?"
"Ah," Allegra said, simply, eyes narrowed. She coughed into her knuckles and smoothed out her vest and suit, now visibly uncomfortable, and the two stood waiting for their guest.
"...You could have warned me earlier."

Not long after the doorbell had rung, heavy footsteps could be heard descending stairs and leading up to the threshold. What sounded perhaps like a girl's voice within the reaches of the townhouse could almost be made out, but as the door swung open instead a young man greeted Gloria and her guardian. Looking to the two with warm gray eyes, he did not do much more than raise his eyebrows to acknowledge them. " Oh, hey there," the Louis boy nearly yawned, before offering up a lazy smile to the girls, " You must be here for---"
"DANIEL," came an exclamation from the level above them, followed by equally loud, hurried footsteps racing down to the entryway of the home," I told you the door was for me! Why don't you just let me get it---" By this time the girl has reached the spot just beside her brother, half hidden hidden by the front wall. However, once voicing her discontentment and looking up to Daniel with disapproval, she notices her guests and becomes self-conscious of her current temperament.
"O-Oh, Hello Gloria!" Olivia moves forward to crowd her brother in attempts to fit herself into view, and effectively shoves him a foot or two over as she smiles to her friend. " And Ms. Allegra! Good to see you!" Brushing her soft blond bangs from her eyes, she gives an apologetic laugh. "Sorry about that, I was a bit late getting ready! I didn't mean to leave you waiting!"
" Well that's why I was getting the door, Liv--- ow!" Daniel's interjection was cut short by a swift elbow to the ribs.
" Hahaha, right! Thanks, bro, I appreciate it!"
"Yeah, yeah!" Turning to make his exit back into the house, the teen does not spare the girl a grin, and makes sure to lift a hand to ruffle her freshly fixed hair as he walks away. Looking back for a moment, he gives a small wave, " Have a nice evening, ladies."

Gloria laughed lightly and waved in return at Daniel, though only after Olivia's swift interjection. Allegra responded with a fickle smile, but the Vitanza was eager enough to reply for the both of them.
"Hello, Olivia, Daniel. It's fine, Allegra and I don't mind the wait. You look quite gorgeous today!" The brunette stared back at her amber-eyed guardian, "Though, Allegra and I were wondering, were your parents interested in joining us?" Looking back at Olivia, Gloria grinned, and Allegra extended her courtesies with a nervous smile.
"W-we understand it's last minute, ah, it is just out of etiquette," Allegra added, adjusting her tie, "But otherwise, Olivia, it is good to see you... ah."
Instead of fumbling with her words any further, Allegra stuffed her hands in her pants pockets and looked out towards the townhouse lawn. She fumbled around for a packet of cigarettes in her pockets and waved feebly towards the two girls. "I will be out for a smoke before we take off... ah, just call me when you are ready."
Allegra walked off and towards the parking lot, and Gloria sighed, pressing her hand against her cheek. She watched Allegra take off until she was midway from her car, then looked back at Olivia. "My... her nerves haven't improved at all. Is it alright if I come inside while you prepare, Olivia?"

Olivia makes the motions as if she were about to attempt to pat now her now frazzled bangs, though is quickly distracted as her visitor's greeting and offers up her most welcoming smile.
"Ahaha, oh Thanks Gloria," she replies with an embarrassed smile as she glances down at her outfit, nothing too glamorous, though she certainly spent some extra time assembling an ensemble less casual than her daily costume. One can not help but feel a tad under-dressed while around Olivia, especially when on an outing.
" You look 'quite gorgeous' today yourself, per usual...!"
Another few moments pass with the announcement of the invitation of the Louis parents, and the awkward flee of Allegra to indulge in her nerve subduing habit. Without much time to respond to the proposition she first addresses the guardian's leave with
' oh, okay' and a small wave, which is quickly followed up by Gloria's voice.
"Oh! Right, of course, come right in... I'll only be a minute more. I guess I should fix my hair again, then I'm just going to grab my cell and my wallet," Olivia quickly steps to the side, opening the door even further to allow the brunnette to step inside the home.

Gloria responded with a warm smile and a somewhat sheepish laugh at Allegra's sudden leave of absense. She stepped into Olivia's house and watched as Daniel left the premise, and the orange-eyed girl quickly followed behind Olivia into her room.
It was strange to say that Gloria had never actually been inside of the Louis household, and she quite frankly couldn't remember if Olivia had been in her room, either. "What a lovely place, Olivia! And tidy, too, I don't think I've ever actually been in your home before."
Gloria looked outside of the loft's window and spotted Allegra not far away from the sidewalk, resting her side against a pole while slowly sucking away at her cigarette. "Ah, since you didn't get a chance to answer, would your parents like to come with us? It would be a rather tight squeeze in the car, but we're going to a restaurant fairly close from here. Janice recommended it, actually."

"Really? I guess you haven't...," Olivia responded as she leaned over a small dresser in her bedroom, fixing her hair in the mirror attached to it. " We don't really spend to much time at each other's places really. My house is pretty boring anyways, though, so it's no wonder!"
Once the blonde had secured the ribbon in her hair, and straightened it out, she finally turned away from her reflection to address Gloria directly. "Ah, oh right! The rents...uh," she raised her brows and moved her hands to rest them on her hips as she considered the offer. " Mom is still at the Museum right now, actually... But Dad's around if you really want to invite him." She began to move across the room, now approaching a messy desk. It only took a moment of riffling about to fish out a small wallet, brown and sprinkled with pink flowers, as well as a beat up old cell phone. Both were then quickly stored in each of her pockets. " He's downstairs if you want us to go ask. Though I gotta say he doesn't make the most interesting dinner conversation."
She shrugged and laughed as she pivoted around once more and started back toward Gloria. "I gotta say, not that it's an issue, but I am a bit curious why you suddenly want to invite my folks."

"No Mrs. Louis? I see..." Gloria's mood didn't dampen, really, though she found herself resting thoughtly against the corner of Olivia's bed. She glanced out the window and noticed a wisp of smoke down below, where Allegra was nervously taking her last whiffs of smoke. Given the chance, Allegra was probably going to come back in and try to apologize.
Time was valuable, though, and Gloria stood upright and prepared to move. The house was admirable, though, and she walked back towards the door as soon as Olivia retrieved her wallet and phone.
"Allegra wanted to invite the two so she had someone to talk to, but I suppose it's fine, I wouldn't want to bug your father. She'll just have to do as planned and talk to us two, as boring as we are, won't she? ah," she giggled, "Maybe we should invite Daniel? Or would the restaurant not have enough food in stock?"
When the joke was said and done, Allegra popped her head into the complex, pocketing her box of cigarettes back into her jacket. "Are--"
"I'm afraid her mom's busy, Allegra. How's about another time?"
Allegra pouted and moved back into the car. The drive was maybe fifteen minutes, and most of it was the frazzled brunette trying to ask Gloria about where, exactly, it was.

The parking lot was a few minutes away from the restaurant. Antoine District always had hefty fees, which were raised mostly due to tourists. Allegra paid for all of it, though Gloria did reassure her a free meal.
It was a cozy family diner, and at the top of the restaurant was a painted sign that read 'The Bird's Nest.' Most of their customers were lounging in the garden area, it seemed, and a rather tired looking valet stood near the building entrance with a clipboard.
Gloria went up to the valet and they greeted each other like old friends, though, fortunately, they conversed entirely in English. The valet only tried to speak in (broken, jarring) Italian when he directed them to the inner sanctum of the restaurant, at nice place near the windows and far enough away from the bar.
When they arrived at their table, Gloria waited for the other two to sit.
"I'm going to go to the back and say a quick hello to the chef," Gloria smiled, "You two pick anything you'd like, okay? It's my treat."
She left soon after, and Allegra remained, staring awkwardly between the menu and Olivia. She laughed to fill in the conversation.
"Ah, hm... Olivia, what do you like to eat? Have you been to here, ah, before?"
