Canon scrambled to her feet, but her tail had been pinned by one of the mannequin's limbs. As she struggled to free it, the mannequin had the opportunity to deliver a solid punch to her face. Thankfully, Skarks don't possess bones, or it might have done more damage. As it was, Canon was knocked back, which actually managed to dislodge her tail.
A little dizzily, Canon regained her equilibrium, and ran for it. She needed a new weapon, and, yet again, the forest provided. A stick! And not too big for a small ghoul to lift! Canon kicked the stick into the air, caught it, whirled, and lunged at the mannequin. Right in the solar plexus! The lunge plus the mannequins forward momentum folded it around the stick. It fell to the ground again, and Canon took the opportunity to run!

Bringing an arm up, Shun tried to block an incoming strike from the Mannequin, but that didn't work out too well. The attacks of the thing weren't too strong anyway, but he knew he couldn't last forever against it. Backing away, he scanned the immediate area for another environmental weapon.
There were some vines nearby. Grabbing onto some of it, he decided to attempt to whip his opponent. However, he ended up missing it completely. On the plus side, the bees were still angry with it, striking rather relentlessly. Granted, the Reaper wasn't sure how much help they were, but they were still doing something.
In the meantime, he continued to work his way through the forest, aiming to gain a bit of ground.

SWEET VICTORY!
Before too long, Shun found himself another stretch of vine. Rather than attempting to whip it this time, he rushed in close to wrap it tightly around the throat of the mannequin. As he did so, it flailed about, striking him once or twice. However, the Reaper did not relent, tightening the vines around it with each passing moment, aiming to choke the 'life' out of his opponent.
After a little while, the mannequin fell still, ending this little battle. Letting out a breath, he let go of the vines, allowing it slump to the ground. He had defeated it.

Sheridan had chosen to fly this time rather than set foot again in one of the so called elevators. No way he was getting in one of those again, not unless he was dragged kicking and screaming!
Now he was standing near the back of the group, his tail brushing against a nearby tree. His arms were crossed, his eyes narrowed angrily, he didn't like the condescending way they were being spoken to. He was not a -child-, he was not an idiot, and while he certainly lacked in training, he did know some things. He was not ignorant of the hunters and how vulnerable he was to them, he knew all too well what they could do to him, he had seen, he had -felt- it, he still had nitemares, nitemares thanks to the horsemen. And if he could be subjected to the horrors of the trials, then he deserved some amount of respect, or to at least be treated like he wasn't completely stupid.
The growl that he had been keeping to himself suddenly became audible as he turned to duck in and among the trees. It was more difficult to fly here, but he could jump, and he could easily reach the branches. He leapt and swung, jumping from branch to branch, his tail lashing like a counterweight behind him.
As he moved through the trees, he caught a piece of vine, using his sharp talons to cut through one end, freeing it from the tree it had been previously attached to. Vine in hand, he ducked behind a high branch, watching, silently waiting for the dummy to appear.
A rustle of leaves, ah, there it was. He leapt toward the target, vine held between both hands, using the lasso to ensnare the dummy around the neck. He pulled hard on the vine, hoping to snap the target's neck, but though he felt the cracking of structure beneath his weight, it was not enough to keep the dummy from turning and throwing him off to land against a tree with a hard thud. Ow, damn it!

The punk was running on adrenaline as he raced through the trees, but he wasn't going so fast that he'd pass up a good opportunity when it tried to trip him. He found a stick. In the forest. He wasn't going to let that pass him by, Roch thought as he grabbed it. He spun, slamming it hard into the mannequin and taking another blow in return before racing away. He LIKED this game.
He could hear the other students rushing through the trees, fighting off their assailants, and he hoped they were doing alright. But the sound that he heard most was the soft padding sound of the mannequin following him.
He couldn't help but put a face or two over the flat, formless part that passed as a face. A hunter, the ghoul, most often. The one he'd hit in the throat, only to listen to her laugh. If he could take out this monster without FEAR, maybe he'd have a better chance against her the next time they met...
