[ Lady Kiya ] I'll start the other one up when I get home : D Gyongyi had successfully left Kushami in her dust. At least the leopardess was pretty confident that she had left behind the blue leopard. Or hoped. Gyongyi really hoped that she had. But that was besides the point. Gyongyi had found a nice spot by a watering hole to relax. The leopardess had gone ahead and made her self home in a tree over looking the watering hole. It was more then comfortable and allowed for the hot savanna sun to bake her back as she happily laid there and moved no muscle. Occasionally her tail would twitch from side to side in a hypnotic manner. Slowly her eye lids began to grow heavier and heavier with every passing moment. They made contact and she could feel her self slipping in the the comfort of sleep. She would have nodded off completely if it wasn't for a squabble between two warthogs down by the water. Gyongyi's eyes popped back open to see just what all the ruckus was about when one of the warthogs took the liberty to slam the other in to the tree she'd picked to perch in. Needless to say this caused her to land on her back on top of the assaulting warthog. "OOPHHHHH," Was the only sound she could manage as the warthog below let out a surprised squeal. Its counterpart had already long deserted the other by the time Gyongyi had worked her way to her feet. The only problem was that the offending warthog had also worked its way back to its hooves. And now it was pissed at her. For what ever reason Gyongyi's first instinct was not to throw her own weight around but instead to slowly back up. She was unable to think properly with the beady eyes of the pissed off warthog upon her. The warthog snorted and then kicked some dust with its front hoof as if it was a bull. Gyongyi just continued to slowly back up.

Thona had been hunting said warthogs, of course, he had seen everything while he was waiting for his moment to pounce. And... His time was almost there. The warthog's attention was on the other leopardess. As long as she didn't try to steal his food, Thona didn't mind so much. It made it easier when the attention of your pray was else were. He kept himself hidden best he could, though it wasn't as hard right now as it would have been if no one else was there.
With that, everything was a stand still, but only for a moment. Thona's chance was here. He leaped out and tackled the warthog with out a second hesitation. His claws wrapped around it's massive body, and his teeth clutched down hard on the neck of the pig. Of course, not in the right spot. Loud squeals escaped the victims mouth, and it was kicking and trying to knock Thona off of him.
It almost worked a few times, but Thona tried to keep a hold of it. Of course, even if he lost his meal, he could pretend he did it all on purpose to impress the damsel in distress. With that, the pig gave one last kick, and kicked just right. Thona's claws dug into the warthog but came out, leaving huge gashes across it as it ran away....
Thona wasn't pleased and ended up rolling on the ground before stopping on his belly. His tail flicked back and forth before he looked towards the other. He gave a quick sigh and finally turned his attention to the female. He spoke no words but just stared at her, waiting for her to say something first. He didn't bother to get to his feet just yet.

Everything happened so fast. Gyongyi wasn't sure what was going on and if she was dreaming or if she was really being saved. Needless to say, the leopardess was in a complete daze over the whole thing. She was shocked, surprised and relieved all at the same time. The complicated emotions swarmed as she watched the daring orange leopard do his best to stay on the warthogs back and attempt to rip its throat out. He actually managed to do some decent damage which impressed the leopardess quite a bit.
It was over as fast as it had started though and the warthog had got away. Blood could be seen on the ground trailing after the rude warthog. Gyongyi pressed her paw to a puddle of blood before looking back up at the orange stoic leopard.
"... Are you sent from the gods?" Was what slipped from her mouth. Had there been divine intervention? Cause Gyongyi was almost positive she was about to die earlier. But hear in orange stood a handsome hero. At least Thona seemed like a hero right now to the light tan leopardess.

Thona looked at his paw for a moment, blood was stuck on his nails, so he decided to lick them a little bit before looking at the female with a grin upon his face. Thona didn't believe in gods, but he could mess with this female a bit. It would be fun, after all. "Perhaps I was" He said with a wink. Of course, he knew much better than that. He stood up and shook his fur, "though I regret to announce that dinner has slipped away" It was annoying, but at least he could get the benefit of saving this female.
Then again, he didn't see her in any real danger, but she thought she was. He raised a brow. "Why'd you pick a fight with a warthog if you can't kill one?" he asked her. Of course he knew that she didn't start it, and was just an innocent victim in all of this. At least, as innocent as anyone could be in a situation like this. He flicked his tail, making his bones clink as he did so. He was trying to act smooth, and nice at the same time.
He wondered if it was working, she seemed to be kind of out of it. Some things just happened too fast for other's to keep u with them. Perhaps she'd be easier to seduce than he could ever hope, but he wasn't going to know just yet... Perhaps.

"I didn't pick a fight!" It came out more offended then she actually was. Still, she never thought she seemed that bold. It was both surprising and embarrassing at the same time for what ever reason.
"Still.. Uh... Thank you for saving me. Um.... If you want I can help you find something else to hunt as a thank you?" It came out as a question more then anything. Gyongyi felt bad though for him losing his meal. If she could help to make it better she would.

Well, this was surely interesting. He'd never had someone offer to repay him for a meal that was lost. Even though, it wasn't her fault that his meal ran away. She actually made it easier for him to attempt to get it. He raised a brow, this female could prove to be more interesting than he'd have given her any credit of being at first glance. "I don't think there's a need for that." He said with going back to licking the fur and blood from under it.
After he felt it was done enough he spoke. "It wasn't your fault it left." he admired "And no need to thank me." He wondered if the modest hero act would work to get what he really wanted. It was good to play this angle for a little bit longer to see what would happen. She seemed rather.... easy after all. At least in his eye. "I just am glad to see that you're not hurt." Not really true, he wouldn't care regardless, but he showed no sign of actually giving that off.

"But... R-really?? It wasn't?" Her head lifted a little as did her ears a bit. She admired this strangers kindness to be so forgiving. He was saying she didn't mess up but the females own humbleness blinded her from seeing it that way. Still if he wasn't mad then she wasn't going to beat her self up over it.
"Your glad I'm not hurt?" This came out as more shock and surprise. He was a really nice guy! The female could feel her heart swell in her chest a bit. This mysterious stranger had won over her affection and admiration with little more than a few lines of faked kindness.
"I'm glad your not hurt! Your not hurt right? Thats an awful lot of blood," She pointed with her paw at his claws. Maybe he'd chipped a claw while attacking that beast! If it chipped to much it could cause bleeding. That wouldn't be good.

He was almost taken aback by her reaction to how he was. If he had any ounce of care in the world, he might reconsider what he had in mind for her, but... since he didn't he just smiled at her. "Don't worry about me, I'm not hurt." He said with a chuckle. It wasn't his blood at all, it didn't seem like a lot to him. Then again, he lived around blood quite often. "It's not mine." he said with a shrug.
He didn't think the hog would live long tonight, and felt rather annoyed that he had supplied someone else's dinner for the night. He didn't let it show, however. He had turned his attention over to the female once more. "Why are you out here all alone anyways? It's not very save being alone." He wanted to add for being a female. But, he left it out as it might make her angry. There were many head strong female that thought they were actually better then males.
He almost wanted to laugh, but he just cleared his throat looking at her with interest.

The female looked a little sad thinking about how she was all alone out here.
"Well... It didn't start that way if thats what you mean by me being alone. No.. Actually I have quite a bit of family close in territories not to far from here but I figured I could go off on my own a bit. But then I met this horrible blue leopardess.... And ... and ... She was horrible! You wouldn't believe the stuff she made me do. Fair companionship my a**!" Her temper was starting to flair just remembering Kushami. "Oh! She made me do the hunting and the water finding the everything she could think of! Made me feel bad cause she faked an injury. BUT NO MORE! OH NO SIR! I ... um. .. Oh sorry was I loud?" She blinked up at Thona.
"Any ways. Long story short, I just left and never turned back... but I suppose I have found my self.... well... alone..."

What had he done? Now she won't stop talking. This was worse then listening to members of his pride complain about things. He had opened a box he didn't think he could shut now. Which wasn't something he wanted, but if it got to where he wanted to go in the end, he suppose he could endure this little torture. He didn't sigh, no, he pretended to be interested in what she had to say. Though, he had no clue what she was talking about half way through it, he kinda tuned her out a little bit. "That's just not right" he said finally.
He shook his head when she asked him about being too loud. On the contrary, he didn't even hear a thing, but that was one of his better skills. He learned it when his mate would talk to him, or when one of his children were trying to talk to him when he didn't want to be bothered and was too lazy to hurt them.
"Sounds like you did the right thing, no one needs that kind of torture." He said figuring that felt like the right thing to say, then finally she said she was alone. THANK GOD that was over... "Well, you're not alone at the moment, unless I'm just dreaming, of course." He said with a hint of charm. He wanted to move it along, he didn't like sticking around the same female longer then a few hours to a day at most...

"Your right! Its .. Its not right! Its down right horrible!" She frowned feeling justified in her choice to leave. Her tail twitched a bit as she remembered those horrible horrible memories of being with that female. "Not alone?" Gyongyi frowned and really took a better look at the male. Was he in a similar situation like she? Her heart dropped a bit at the thought that some one else would end up in a similar situation. There was a long pause as Gyongyi really took in Thona's image. "Your not alone if I'm not alone," The statement it self was completely stupid on Gyongyis part. She hadn't realized this. "Your not dreaming. .. Um.. If you want to... uh.. stay..? A little while?"

Excellent, she fell right into his trap. He smiled at her, not saying she was stupid at all, though in his thoughts she was quite a dumbass. Mostly because she actually fell for what he was saying. Though, he thought all women were quite dumb. They were, after all, good for one thing in his mind. He flicked his tail. "if it will make you feel better, I'll linger for a while." He said as if trying to be noble about it, but not really saying that he wanted to stay with her.
"After all, I wouldn't want someone to come back and hurt you." He said making it sound a little cheesy so it seemed more real. "I could watch and make sure this other doesn't come back to try any funny business." It almost made him feel sick acting like this, but in truth the end results would be most pleasing. She'd be hurt, and he'd get what he wanted. Well, he'd at least hopped she'd get a little hurt. Who knows, maybe she was playing him as he was playing her? It was possible, but unlikely.Chobi_Chocobo Tag in the other one too, forgot to quote.

It was true, the leopardess had fallen in to Thona's trap and was likely not to realize this until it was to late. The male had made some very good points and had caught Gyongyi's foolish heart and full attention. "It would be an honor to have you linger a little longer. I'll go fetch you a meal. You make your self comfortable." With that the female gave Thona a warm naive smile and started off toward the blood trail the warthog had left. She'd attempt at the very least to get to it before something else sniffed it out. If not the warthog, she'd return with something else. After all. She still felt it was her fault. Gyongyi's naive heart had a lot to learn.

Thona never thought he could be surprised by another creature (Well in a totally difference sense than he was now), but she had surprised him a few times. Not only was she telling him to relax, she was actually willingly getting him food. Not even his own pride members willingly got him food. They did it so he wouldn't beat them up. Of course, she had no idea who he was. Which made it that much easier for someone to be nice to him.
A smile crossed his face when he laid down in the shade. He didn't plan on moving anywhere until she got back. Hopefully with something better than a rabbit. Which, would have been what he'd have gotten her and pretended to not be hungry.
Fin?
