Some of Deus Ex Machina's more notable young trainees may or may not have gotten a text the day following the sleepover.

Hopefully the trainees didn't have anything of importance scheduled in their work lives. Upon arriving at Allan's room, the door was still, not surprisingly, open, the Sun Hunter lying on a flat bench in the center of the room, wearing a simple tank top as he bench pressed.... the DDR machine.

It was best not to ask.

Dakota blinked as he got a text message from Allan and then cocked his head, Seriously? Didn't he just see Allan a couple nights ago? Was it a couple nights? Who knew.

All this moon hunter knew was that he was seeing the Sun hunter Leader a lot more often then he saw his own leader...and he still had some things to ask Allan like....WHY DID YOU GIVE JULIE GAY PORN HENTAI?

Donning his new Intermediate jacket, he slipped out of his room to head to Allan's room, a place he was in fact acquainted with now and watched as....Was Allan bench pressing DDR?

"Sir?" He blinked as he came over before grinning, "I'd offer to spot you but I don't think I could do this...." He looked around to see if anyone else was coming in.

Gale stared completely blankly at the text message he had just received as though he could not quite comprehend it.

And maybe he couldn't, considering that it was written in an entirely different language.

A language that had nothing to do with the kanji at the bottom of the text and everything to do with the weird sort of style of writing that was written by one Allan-taichou and was punctuated by a lot of dots and too much cheerfulness for one person alone.

"What the bloody hell is this supposed to even mean - "

He almost didn't go. Almost. Especially since Gale was still staring at that text message with a very flummoxed look on his face that may or may not have been mixed with something like exasperation mingled into it.

<< Please say you're going. I have got to see this. >>

Shut up. No one asked you.

<< Please oh please oh please - >>

Shut up, Ginny.

Gale sighed.

And hemmed.

And hawed.

And finally made his way down to Allan-taichou's room with an extreme sense of trepidation and suspicion as he stood just outside. He had planned to hover for a few moments, but since the door was open, that seemed rather useless and somewhat idiotic, so Gale slipped inside the room.

Allan was bench pressing a DDR machine.

Gale wondered if it was too late to just turn around and walk away.

.......

This message.....

it was......

highly suspicious.

She gave it a long look before she looked at the clock, then sighed, getting up and stretching the stiffness out of her body before she moved to get her uniform on, listening to Nicodemus quietly b***h in her head about sleeping in and training with strange men and the like. It was a long ramble on his part, really.

It was something so familiar to her it was almost turning into white noise. That wasn't to say she didn't enjoy Nicodemus' company and to have his insight. He made things much less lonely, but he was such a stiff that she couldn't put up with him being stuffy at her all the time.

Fortunately, he wasn't angry all the time instead. That would have made her walk over to the Sun Division head's room a lot less fun. Which it was only fun to begin with because there were directions to get to find his room. The first person she'd asked was a hunter who had immediately fled the scene when Allan's name was dropped and she felt vaguely concerned, yelling 'I WASN'T ASKING ABOUT CAELIUS' after them, just to cause a dead run in retreat.

Boo.

She'd gotten a few other vague 'mehhh, that way' directions as well as a few wrong rooms which resulted in waking up a very grouchy looking Life Hunter, being offered a slice of watermelon and a movie (she was very sad to turn this down), and one door she hadn't knocked on because of the screaming on the other side of it.

It had taken her about 30 minutes to finally be redirected to the right room, knocking on the door awkwardly as she stepped in.

"Hello.....?" Um.. actually, she took that hello back. She watched Allan as he bench-pressed the DDR Machine with a curious look on her face. It almost seemed like something Leon would do....

Ryan gave the message a look of confusion. It was just the other day he received a similar message and chose to ignore it.

A men's night out? Probably nothing of importance and likely a waste of time. It wasn't like he knew what a Nakama was anyways. It wasn't in the dictionary at least, so maybe the message was meant for a more specific group? One who knew what the word was, and he was just sent the message by accident? Either way it probably wasn't something that involved him. This new message though... it was...

He paused giving it another look.

.....

Yep. Just as weird.

What was a tachi supposed to be anyways? Sounded like one of those tamagotchi things he had when he was still a kid and always managed to kill.

With a small grumble, he snapped his phone shut and rolled off his bed. Regardless of what he thought of these bizarre messages, it was likely an order. It was from Allan, the sun division leader after all, and though he hadn't met the guy, he was still a division leader and deserved the utmost respect.

So grabbing his jacket and scarf, and pulling on his shoes, Ryan headed off in search of this 'Allan-taichou's' room.

"Sir... what is a ta---what's this about?" He started to ask instead, only to snort at the sight of Dakota.

The men's night out wasn't the only message he got the other day.

Otto cringed at the text he received. No.. no not him! Allen was his least favorite person on the island. Well, almost everyone was his least favorite, but Allen was in the negatives.

The young trainee reluctantly attended though, feeling it was his duty. It might be a mission after all.

What he saw made his jaw drop to the floor. Allen was bench pressing a DDR machine. The fact the Division Lead's room was like a geek showcase was left unnoticed. It was nothing compared to...that.

Okay. The guy was a nut case, but Otto was thinking he might deserve a little respect if he can bench press something that had to weigh a ton.

Dakota blinked as everyone piled in before cocking his head. This was the strangest assortment of the hunters. The only one that wasn't a intermediate was Ryan and yet, at the same time, he didn't stand out with a different jacket compared to the youthful faces of the room.

Skipping over to his fellow moon hunter.

"Sup Ryan." He ruffled the shorter trainee's hair before saluting Cass. "Hey Cass...." He still felt a little awkward to the hunter seeing as he...you know...posed...and stuff.

The other two though he stared at with surprise. "Otto, Gale. Last time I saw you guys was when we went to the booze store. And Gale had a little old lady following-" He started...

Cass suddenly broke out laughing at the top of the old lady that had stalked Gale through the liquor store. "Oh man, that was a bit of an adventure.." she pat Ryan on the shoulder. "I'm glad they got you out of there alright. I wanted to go back in for ya, but Marcus shoved me through the portal instead."

He hadn't wanted her to play hero or something. Never the less, she ruffled the Moon hunter's hair, before she actually turned her attention to Dakota. "Why so awkward, Dak? Having mental images of my boy? It's alright, Julie didn't draw him correctly." she winked, leaving the implications of that statement lingering.

The implication of her being intimately familiar with how Marcus looked naked.

Ryan was about to return the greeting when Dakota reached out and began ruffling his hair. Because of that, all he got was a slightly irate 'i'll kill you' look. Though, on he bright side, he should just be thankful it was short enough that there really wasn't any need to fix it.

"Err yeah... I'd rather not remember that... if at all possible..." He muttered with a weak smile, giving a helpless look as Cass also ruffled his hair. What was this?? "Appreciate the effort though."

Truth be told, he was still rather embarrassed about the whole mission and would much rather deny it had ever happened at all.

"Uhh, more importantly..." He looked back in at who he assumed was Allan. "Please tell me we're not going to be expected to do that." He finished, pointing at the DDR machine that he was bench pressing.

At least they were all of a similar age, though, so it wasn't...too horrendously awkward. Cass just grinned. "What mission was I talking about again?" she asked, obviously playing along with his attempt to forget it had happened - if only for him. It had been a pretty fun evening to her, after all.

Morning.

Time of day.

It had been a party and she had thought it was hilarious. Albeit, mostly after the fact while she was watching a movie with Marcus and giggling about how much fun it had been to run around so much. She would have been caught for sure a year previous, however. In fact, she'd almost gone down as it was.

Looking to the DDR machine - as well as Allan underneath it - Cass made a face. "I hope not. I'm just a..umm.." she flexed her arms. "I'm not exactly built to have muscles."

"Trainers!"

It was uncertain as to what was more surprising: the fact that Allan placed the DDR machine back in its rightful position on the floor without breaking a sweat, or the fact that he had actually called the assembled group trainees and not shiniga-

- wait wait, wait a second. Trainers?

"That's right!" Allan reconfirmed, to all the trainees' flabbergasted looks. "You are all young trainers, the perfect candidates for this secret undercover mission. You will use your natural looks to penetrate this fortress of indefinite evil and uncover the and destroy the darkness that lurks within."

He seemed pretty pleased with those big words, though it could have something to do with the fact that he continued to hold up his palm up, reading off the words scribbled on it. "Now, I am sorry to call you here all of a sudden, but I suddenly got word of this mission, and realized that not only was this a difficult mission, it would also require subtlety and finesse." The Sun lead finally got off the bench and stood up, wiping some sweat off with a towel before putting on-

- A white outfit with a large R on it. It looked extremely out of place not to mention Allan had opted to also change his boxers to something more adequately themed, and well-

"Now trainers, we are going in as disguise. That means, you have to wear one of these." He unzipped a large duffel bag next to him, face dead serious and determined. "They should be fairly comfortable, I ordered them custom to your sizes."

Clearly Allan was just the epitome of thoughtfulness. Wait, what did this even have to do with the mission?

OOC

All trainees have to choose a pokemon outfit. Once they have put it on... then the rest of the mission will commence

"Dude... that's...." Was certainly not a disguise he would have expected... wasn't that just a Halloween costume---no wait. Taking a closer look, Ryan could see the large red 'R' on the shirt and almost groaned. "That's a team rocket uniform... Are you kidding me? Pokemon?"

Evidently, the sun division leader was not kidding, because just after he finished putting on his own 'disguise' he dumped there's out before them.

Pokemon, right. Because what was a rocket grunt without pokemon?

With a sigh and seeing no way around it, he reached for one of the few that he actually recognized and remembered the name for ( Meowth was it? ) and pulled it on over his head, only to stop when he realized something. The sleeves to this costume ended in paws! PAWS!

Ugh damn it.

With a low growl, he flipped the hood up--ignoring that there was ears attached and passed a Pikachu costume to Gale ( which kind of matched him ) and for kicks a Jigglypuff one to Dakota.

"After the whole pastry incident, it kind of suite you... don't you think?"

(( Kuro wanted Pikachu XD ))

Otto's eyes flicked to the others at the mention of the booze run. While it wasn't the best of missions, it was at least not the worst. Well, not for him. Ryan on the other hand. Otto had almost forgotten he'd been left behind.

Unsurprisingly, that memory made him smirk.

His moment was cleaved as Allen began to address them. What he asked them to do made the young hunter's jaw drop. "I should've ********' known he'd make us dress up.." Otto grumbled with a curled lip. This time was even worse. At least the black robes had been kind of cool. This was just silly! Otto counted his blessings that this costume would hide his face, if nothing else.

With a heavy sigh that sounded like he'd given up on life, Otto grabbed a mudkip costume and got on in.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 21, 2012 4:04 pm

Dakota blinked.

And then blinked again.

Then looked at the costumes and then blinked again. Pokemon. Were they pokemon? Some where in his little child mind, he reverted to his old gaming nerdy self and smiled at the costumes. Fingering one of them.

"Wow, Pokemon. I haven't seen these in-" He blinked again before stiffening. "We have to put them on?" He looked at the rocket costume and then to the ones Ryan and Gale were putting on before sighing.

Just how one 18yr old, 6'3 giant managed to put on...what was this, was this Jigglypuff? Really Ryan? the first one you hand him was Jigglypuff? he immediately changed out of it and grabbed the costume for a.....Eevee and put that on instead. Spiky and cute plus he didn't have to change a whole lot....

"Okay well then...." Dakota blinked as he eye'd the other pokemon costumes. What would they be doing that required them to be...POKEMON of all things.

Oh god, Allan was stripping. OH GOD, BUTT. WHY WAS THERE ALWAYS ALLAN-BUTT WHEN SHE MET HIM? SHE DIDN'T WANT TO SEE ALLAN-BUTT.

WHAT WAS GOING ON.

Oh.

Oh

They were dressing up.....

THEY WERE DRESSING UP!!

They were Pokemon trainers that day. If Cass could have had real pokemon, her life would have been complete in a very special way. In fact, she may have looked the most excited of anybody there to dress up to go under cover as well. Maybe she was the only kid who had missed out on dressing up for Halloween and hadn't worked the 'be something you're not' out of her system yet.

So Cass was all up in that dufflebag of costume, finally producing one that was probably so sickeningly adorable that she was going to have a field day with it.

In fact, Cass didn't even hesitate to pull an Allan and strip out of her uniform and down into her underwear right there to put it on. Which meant every boy in the room just got flashed to some extent. But when she was done?

She was being Blissey, Goddammit.
