Maelie had stared endlessly at herself in the mirror near her front door before she had finally made the adventure out of it. Once she had locked the door behind her she sighed heavily. Just her luck it was a slightly windy day. All the trouble she had went to make herself perfect would be ruined by the time she made it to her destination. Turning herself away from her door she began to head down the path to her gate, then out it. All she could do was will the weather to change as she didn't want to cancel her huge plans. Well, that wasn't entirely true. Her plans weren't anything special. In fact they consisted of her shopping for furnishings for her new home. Sure she had a few things in it already that could get her by, but she wasn't willing to be content in her sanctuary, despite being content in most everything else.

Slowly she made her way down the sidewalk, heading towards the northern center of Lumena. As she walked she allowed her thoughts to drift to the familiar that was probably still propped up on her bed, talking to the other dolls in the room. A small part of Maelie had wanted to bring it with her but she knew that she would be busy anyways so bringing it seemed like a horrible idea. Though the closer she got to the store the more she wished she had.

Finally after about an hour of walking the store was in full view. "About time." Maelie said out loud in a monotoned voice. With a few more steps she made her way through the front doors and to a large sign that indicated the various stores that were contained in the depot building. Gingerly she moved her finger over the map as she looked for her desired location.

The indoor market was more or less, a favorite place. The lavish shops, the scent of delicious treats, magical and mundane trinkets and toys- really, it was a favorite place. Not to mention the fashion! She'd bought a sexy new deep purple dress, perfect for those times when she had 'seduce' her meals. A pain but-

It did give he an excuse to buy something new and doll herself up. Supposedly a few new store had popped up and she was curious what they might have. Going over to the directory she almost dropped her bag. "Oh my-" She inched close, aside from the fact she had magic- "Okay, spill, that dress." Emelia grinned. "Where did you find it- it's just too cute."

With a slightly confused look Maelie looked over at the pink haired girl in the deep purple dress. The raised eyebrow look she had quickly disappeared and was almost like it had never happened. "From there." Maelie answered in a unenthusiastic tone, pointing to a new dress shop that had opened. "They moved here from Moonfall." She added with a small shrug, then turned her attention back to the girl standing near her. "Who are you?" Maelie asked in a very nonchalant manner.

Where had this girl come from? Did her dress really look that cute? It was then Maelie decided she would have to buy all of her clothes from the store she had pointed out. After all, perfection was her aim. If she was going to rack up compliments then she was going to make sure to do it well. "My name is Maelie." She added.

Gasping Emelia looked back at the shop. She needed to get to moonfall, STAT. Who knew what fashions would be hiding like that gem? Oh right she'd just barged up. "Emelia" A smal curtsy as she winked. "But you can call me whatever you like cutie. Even is Maelie is an even cuter name just- Augh your dress."

Walking around her she nodded. "It's cute, not reveling, while at the same time not covering too much. Just enough to draw a man in and let him wonder." A kind of dress to lure men in for a feeding. "Saw, would you like to go shopping with me? I'm in need to another girl's opinion."

Maelie once more looked curiously at the girl. Her apathetic nature seemed ill matched with her exuberance, but she seemed to be enjoying her company thus far. "Nice to meet you Emelia." She replied with a slight bow. When she heard the girl had picked up the conversation once more she nodded. "I wouldn't mind going shopping with you. My opinion might not be a very good one." She responded with a nod.

A very faint blush graced Maelie's cheeks at the draw a man in comment but otherwise she showed no insight as to how she felt. Could she really lure a guy in with this outfit? She seemed slightly eager to try. "Do you wish to draw men to you?" Maelie honestly asked.

Not a good one? Emelia begged to differ. She bowed like a proper lady and had a cute dress and it was enough. For her tastes at least. The store was filled with clothes that to Emelia were not only cute, but 'disarming'. For her anyway. Much more conservative than her normal attire. No cleavage to be had here, that was for sure.

Lifting up one rather plum colored dress, Emelia held it to her frame, as she listened to the question. "Well, naturally. Women as well if possible. Can't be too picky you know." Noticing the price tag the dress was set back with a sigh. Maybe in another week but not that day.

Picking up a more pink dress she repeated the process. "Should I stay with pink, or go for a different color?"

Maelie looked at the plum dress Emelia had held up and then promptly put back. It would have looked perfect on her, however, for one reason or another she had decided against it. Obviously there was a much larger reason as to why she would discard such a dress that was absolutely stunning. Her attention was quickly turned to the pink one she held up. "I believe a different color would be more suited for you." Maelie replied before running her hands along a dark blue dress. "A darker shade of color would look best." She said, shifting her head so that her eyes could focus on the pink and purple one's. Maybe not this particular dress but it was a good example of what she meant.

"Too picky?" Maelie asked. What had she meant by that? That one could not be picky when it came to men? Or was it when it came to clothing? Maelie could certainly be rather picky when it came to both. Though, men would probably find her promptly fixing errors she saw in their clothing or overall appearance. Of course she wouldn't change their style, at least in most cases, but it would be something as simple as a tie that was slightly askew. As in just a millimeter off. Yes, she really did notice every minute detail.
