Misa was sitting by a cherry blossom tree overlooking the lake. How long had it been since their dad left her mom and her? It had been a while. Now a days she and her mother staid close, however it seemed like her mom had other interests and left her alone most of the time. It made her a bit sad since she had no one to talk to. Her mom said that she was trying to set her up with someone she knew would be a good match. Would it be worth it though? The way her father left them, she didn't want the same thing to happen to her. Nonetheless, she waited to see who this was that her mother had talked so wonderfully of.

Kiwi made his way along the path. His mom had set him up with someone as well. He was a bit nervous since he didn't know what to expect. He was never with a girl before and tended to growing kiwis over anything else. Perhaps it would do him some good. The pony caught sight of a pink female in the distance. Was this the one his mom had mentioned? He slowly approached the female. "Hello miss, fine weather we're having isn't it?" Was that the best he could do? He smacked a hoof to his face in embarrassment. "I...I mean hello. I'm Kiwi. Who might you be?"

Misa for a moment looked shocked for a moment. This was the pony her mom was talking about? This pony was related to Epona? Her face slowly turned to a smile, then a chuckle, then a full burst laugh. "What the heck? You are a funny one that's for sure." She paused for a moment while regaining her composure. "I'm Misa, sakura's daughter. I take it your Epona's son?"

Kiwi blushed a bit out pf embarrassment, but for a sec he stopped himself. Maybe she wasn't so hard to impress after all. "Yeah I'm Epona's son Kiwi. It's nice to finally meet you Miss Misa." He lightly bowed his head in greeting.

Misa sighed for a moment before going over to him. "Please call me Misa. You don't need such formality with me. I'm pretty easygoing as far as ladies concern." She looked him over. "I take it you are a fruit grower then?"

Kiwi nodded his head. "Yes miss..." He caught himself for a moment. "I mean yes Misa." He held out a kiwi to her as a gift. "Why yes, would you like one?"

Misa smiled. "Why yes thank you..." She took the kiwi and tried it. "Wow...it has an interesting flavor. Never had anything like this before. I mainly had cherries since I specialize in cherry trees and blossoms."

Kiwi nervously chuckled. "Well...they sure are." He smacked himself in the face again. What was he doing? Normally he was more talkative and he was never this nervous. "Anyways, what do you like to do?" He was trying in the least. It wasn't his fault he was so nervous around females. He was kind of similar to his father in this sense.

Misa laughed at Kiwi. It was rather funny to see him act so goofy and smack himself. She stopped though. "What I like? Hmmm...well I'm into simpiler things of life. I love tending to plants and gardening sounds wonderful too." Misa scrunched her face up trying to think up other ideas. "I love to go for walks and picnics, especially when cherry blossoms are in bloom. What about you? You also don't have to keep smacking yourself in the face. I'm not one to judge."

Kiwi breathed a sigh of relief trying to relax himself. "Alright, well I love to garden as well especially for Kiwis. I like walks and simpiler things in life too." He blushed a bit. "I guess that's why our parents set us up." He looked off for a second a bit not sure what to say. "So would you like to go for a stroll?"

Misa nodded her head. "That sounds lovely." She started off. "So why are you so nervous around me?" Misa then caught sight of a blue bird. "Isn't that bird beautiful?" She turned around before flashing a sweet smile.

Kiwi shrugged. "I try not to, but it's hard when a pretty girl is in front of you asking so many questions." He looked at the bird. "Indeed it is a pretty bird. You don't see too many of those now a days."

Now it was finally Misa's turn to blush. "Oh...thank you." She looked at the bird he was looking at. "Indeed you don't." She wasn't sure what to socialize with him about since she had ran out of topics. "So what's your family like? Mom always would tell me that Epona was a really reliable friend to her, although she could have spirit."

Kiwi gave Misa a polite nod. "You're welcome. I only tell the truth." He thought about the question Misa had just asked. "Well it's starting to get big to tell you the truth. One of my siblings already had kids, although she was the oldest amongst us all. So now I got nieces and nephews." He thought about it some more. "There's Xena the other sister, but she's so headstrong that I don't know if I can picture her settling down with anyone. What about you?"

Misa listened to Kiwi talking about his family. It all sounded so fun and wonderful. "Well, I bet they all appreciate you." She paused for a moment once he asked about her family. "Well...most of my family disappeared. I have my mom and that's it. I had two other sisters, except my father took one of them and the other with him. They all went on a journey and said they would be back in a couple days, but they never came back." She looked down at the ground sad. "It's too bad, but I try to keep mom happy. She took it the worst. I can tell she's sad even though she looks happy on the outside. I just hope no one has to suffer like that."
