Isura preferred to spend the morning collecting plants and other herbs. Especially lately because she wanted more than anything to learn more about them. Recently she heard from her lion and lioness who raised her that her birth mother was a great healer. Since she heard that she decided she wanted to learn more about the plants, herbs and flower around her. She was curious about how they came to be.
Today was different though. She wasn't going to go out looking for plants. She had heard a rumor that Governor Eumann was coming to Mkoani. Normally this wouldn't affect her as much. She wasn't an active socialite, and hardly cared what rank someone was, but Eumann was different. to her. She had heard about him when he became Governor. She was told hat he was a scholar, a great thinker. One of the best in the Lochlann is she heard right.
She sighed. That was something she longed to be. Respected as a scholar. She was still at the early stages of learning her trade. Since she was little she was always asking questions, trying to figure out the many problems in the world. She studied the Tokakiji history and knew it like that back of her paw, but there was so much more she wanted to learn. She was hoping that meeting Eumann would inspire her.
But she knew the chances of actually meeting him were slim. He was a busy lion and probably wouldn't have time for a scholar like herself. Or maybe she wouldn't even stand out to him. His province was filled with scholars who were probably far more talented than she.
She walked through the market, looking for any sign of Eumann. Even if he didn't have the time for her, she still just wanted at least a sight of him to feel like she accomplished something. She made her way through the busy market, keeping her eyes pealed for Eumann.

Eumann padded through the market, turquoise eyes scanning the various goods being offered by the merchants. There was little here that impressed him. The druid markets in Uliacha were much more diverse. The herbs being offered were common and ineffective. Eumann clucked his tongue. The tension between Druids and the Toka made trade between the two hard. If the two bloods could only settle their differences, the whole pride could benefit. The white male stopped to inspect a flashy piece of jewelry. It would make a good gift for Zelopytia. Perhaps he would stop by and visit her after meeting with Uther. Despite the residents' beliefs, the Mkoani governor was much more moderate when it came to Druid matters. Eumann thought he got along well enough with her. Maybe he could convince her to ask the merchants to open trade for Druid goods. Eumann made a quick barter with the merchant, and after a small debate regarding the quality of the necklace's cord, the governor turned away with the necklace dangling from his mouth. If Zelopytia didn't care for it, then it would make a good gift for Ygraine. Eumann had already brought present for the royal family with him, but one more certainly wouldn't hurt. A group of cubs shrieking with laughter ran straight for him. What seemed to be their parents chased after them, knocking aside other lions in an effort to catch the cubs. Eumann, lost in his thought, was no exception. The burly father clipped him on the shoulder, knocking the necklace out of his mouth. "Confound it!" Eumann scowled at the couple as they ran and cursed when he realized that he hadn't seen where the necklace had fallen. Tail flicking in annoyance, he began searching the grass, head bent low and eyes squinted.

Isuara wan't far from the commotion. She watched the cubs run from their parents. She took a quick look around to see if there was any harm done. It wouldn't be to hard to knock over some of the products. She saw a lion looking in the grass for something. He must have lost something. Looking for Eumann would have to wait.
She hurried over to him to help him look. "Do you need any help?" She asked sticking her face in the grass looking around for anything that he could have lost. "Did you lose something? If you did I can help you find it."
She was too busy looking to really notice the lion she was trying to help. Isuara often times focused on small details and didn't look at the big picture. Because of this her studies as a scholar seemed to be focused on small details instead of general studies.
She knew it was her greatest flaw, but she didn't really mind it. It let her focus on one thing at a time instead of trying to learn everything she could. Right now she was working on learning everything she could about plants, flowers and herbs in hopes of learning how to make medicine for the sick. It was the best way she knew to help out.

Eumann looked up from his search to survey the colourful lioness who had offered to help him search. She seemed younger than him, though Eumann himself was still rather young. He tilted his head to the side, running faces and names through his head. After confirming that he didn't know the lioness, the lion smiled at her. "Why yes, I have lost something. A green necklace with a crystal charm on the end. It's a gift for a friend." Eumann wasnt completely sure he could label his relationship with Zelopytia as friendship, but they certainly were allies. He hoped. "I would very much appreciate your help in finding it. I seemed to have lost it in all the commotion just now." Eumann grinned. "But cubs will be cubs, as they say." Well, as the Druids said. It wasn't a common saying amongst the Toka. The lion unsheathed his claws and tore at the grass with a frown. If he didn't find the necklace, he would be in a bad mood for the rest of the day. And it wouldn't to be grumpy in front of the King. Eumann had enough trouble getting along with Uther on a normal basis. He sighed. The lion wasn't normally one for superstition, but he hoped that this wasn't some sort of bad omen. His lack of manners mentally slapped him in the face a few seconds later. He hadn't introduced himself to this kind and helpful lioness, or even asked for her name. "What is your name, miss, if you don't mind my asking?" Eumann inquired, pausing once again in his search to glance at the lioness.

"Green to match the grass," she said with a laugh. She pushed back some of the taller grass in hopes of seeing it but no luck. The smell of the grass creeped up her nose and had an interesting smell. She would have to examine the grass latter to see if it was a different type of grass. Carefully she moved around. She was being cautious because she didn't want to step on the necklace. It wouldn't be of any help to ruin it.
She nodded with his comment about cubs. It wasn't often that she found herself dealing with cubs. She was very thankful for that. When ever she found herself near cubs she always felt awkward and didn't know what to do with herself. Even as a cub she never found herself acting out. She was rather calm as a cub, just a bit curious.
She gave him a quick glance when he asked for her name. "Oh it is Isuara. It is very nice to meet you. I don't think I have seen you around here before. Are you new to the area?" She had lately been meeting new members to the pride. It was always interesting to meet new lions. As she looked back to the grass she saw a glimmer. Quickly she picked it up with her paw only to find a brightly colored gem. "Nope. This isn't it." She said with a frown. Than she went back to looking.
