so when are breedings going to be open again? I have three couples in mind that I want Kiddies from. As well as are you planning to hire more colorist? Ohh and I think we should get a Adolescent stage for anthros and breedings instead of baby straight to adult

Also can we also give the packs names instead of like "cat pack' it seems a little bland to say the least

Well with the additional growth stage I think it would be a good idea honestly. the baby stage could be more like an actual baby with a diaper and such lol, the only thing about their characteristics from their parents that would show is hair, eyes animal features and such. then onto the adolecent stage which is the current child lineart which would begin showing the clothing and such, what do you guys think? Or would you guys rather have a stage above the current child lineart as a sort of teenager lineart?

Also i'm honestly not sure how to go about the packleaders... If i'm speaking fact the packleaders were rp required? If this is so then almost all of our packleader owners aren't going to be able to keep their packleader anthros... but I don't know how to go about that...

Angelics, I agree biggrin if anyone has suggestions for pack names then please let me know! i could either start a naming thread for the packs or they could just be pm'd to me.

The breeding slots aren't going to open until more of the ungrown anthros and owed customs are finished since they have been waiting for anthros they already ordered for so long and I have been talking to Melo about how to organize a hiring thread for colorists soon. If anyone would be willing to let me use their anthros as a sort of guinea pigs for the hiring thread let me know. I would like to have the potential colorists grow some babies to see how their skill is with that, do some customs to see how they get along with you guys (we don't need butt faces being colorists here) that kind of thing.

An additional growth stage...I don't know how I feel about it. This shop makes for heavily edited pets no matter how naked they are (this in relation to other shops). Throw in unique lines and you've got a lot of art. It would probably jack up the price at the very least. I liked the two-stage thing... keep in mind what a child wears isn't necessarily going to be their taste as an adult, so it's not so indicative of anything other than their guardian's tastes. xD I used to wear dresses as a child, now I won't touch a skirt with a 40-foot pole.

Yes, the pack leaders were RP-required. At least Ignatius and David, some of the first ones, were RP-required. I don't know if the latter ones were required because I was gone for at least a year at one point with no internet. xD; (There was another time I won't speak of). This is in relation to shop activity. In either case, I personally am against rehomes 100% with exception to if a person is blacklisted (maybe) or for non-payment. That's a given. But in this case I recommend demotion, so that interested people can play pack leaders, but the old owners can still keep their pets. It makes sense that being a pack leader should go to the strongest right? So... they lost their place. If they want to fight to regain their status, they can do so in-RP. ^.^

I have no idea on a name. However I think there should be some relation to the elements involved - fire and water for cats, for example. Maybe we can poll for each pack, once the shop gets moving? It could be a big pack event... new alphas/betas, new names!
Also... since we're on the subject, what about unique lines? Some of the leaders have them, some do not. If it's a "yay" I volunteer to do the cats and/or foxes (I did the foxes originally and would love a crack at drawing Jiki, whom Moogz still RPs. =D )


Also, since Moogz said something about it, if I owe anyone any art, PLEASE tell me. I don't care if you paid or not. I'll complete it regardless. I'll even refund ya for the wait time.

On the note of Packs.

Stuff I plan to be doing:

Sort out Breed specialties and Magic and rules for combat and stuff. This'll be opening up with the Meta as we go on.
Currently I'm seeing the shop in a... pre magic era. Most of the anthros in store are oblivious to their magic (though some are magical in general, or naturally gifted). I'd say most are even oblivious to the fact that Humans can't see them as anthros.

After the upcomming Meta event I'll be hoping to re-introduce magic to the store. It'll all be optional. Anthros can chose to stay un-magical, and continue their peaceful, social lives in the store as before, or move on and "awaken" to their powers. It'll mostly just be RP'd as opposed to extra lineart, i'll be leaving that kinda stuff open for discussion, but i'm mostly working on Story and Plots XD

As for the Leaders, The meta plotline will be introducing reason for them to be more active and help out their own kin. Factions will be needed to help them find their kins strengths and powers, which will be outlined later.
Those packs who are without leaders will be able to form new leaders.
I was originally thinking of a Challenge, but the more I think about it I think an election style decision would be better. But It'll be a wip for now, and will be discussed. I wouldn't worry about it till later.
If someone becomes Alpha/Beta I'd like to say they will be redrawn in unique lines, and the Old Leader will still have their wings as a mark of previous leadership, just won't hold the same authority. The reason for this choice will become clearer later.

I'm sorry to be so vague on my reasonings, but I assure you it should make sense with the current "story" in place already.

Pretty much most of this will be subject to discussion too. Particularly between staff. I dont wanna like steal the show or anything XD

But for now I just wanna start the Meta to bring the new chapter of Anthros to a start, and start getting fun stuff happening biggrin
