TEAM MEMBERS:Holly [elvyralani], Zurine [JetAlmeara], Circe [~Kiana_Nala~], El Greco [Euphoric Ghost] IF YOU CHOOSE TOWN HALL OR WEEPING FOREST IF YOU CHOOSE TOWN HALL OR WEEPING FOREST:Your walk through the fog makes you feel colder step by step, inch by inch. At last, fighting through masses of unknown creatures, creatures who continuously talk about home, you reach a strange landmark. A single tattered flag rising from the ground. On it is a very familiar symbol, a carved pumpkin emblazoned with an A. Amityville. You walk over to the flag, but there's nothing else in sight. What does this mean? What could it mean. Warily, you look around for clues, hints, but the fog is too thick, it is hard to see anything. Oddly enough, as you search around further, you hear a vague buzzing noise, similar to something building an electric charge- - There is a loud ZAP and you black out immediately. When you wake up, you realize you are tied, rather primitively actually, bound by thick ropes, feet and neck coiled with chains. You seem to be in a series of what look like underground caverns, the lighting dim and shallow, a few figures milling around. One of them is looking straight at you, and takes a step forward. You do no recognize them at all, an undead carrying a thick set of chains and what looks like a primitive helmet. He strides towards you, and sticks the helmet over you head, staring at you suspiciously. A grunt. "So you can't log out, while we interrogate you." In his spare hand is a weapon, a rusted broken saw. He leans closer with the weapon- - "Wait! I'll do this." Another much smaller figure leans over, except this one is very familiar: the tattered blue scarf and general washed out appearance did nothing to hide that this was a certain school secretary. He looked extremely worn out, expression both suspicious and haunted as he leaned closer towards you, traces of recognition in his eyes. " Who are you?" "The are spies." Grunted the other, unwavering. "We shall torture them, kill them from the inside out, like they have done to us. It does not matter what the spies look like." They sighed, recoiling backwards. "You are right. These students died years ago." You quickly scan around you, noting the drab landscape, the survivors looking at you curiously. Yes, survivors, you are looking at the last few remaining survivors of Halloween. A few questions cross your mind. a) You ask about where you are and the status of Halloween/ what is going on b) You ask about who has survived. You begin to rattle off names, places. c) You call the secretary out by name. You mention the Trials, and the last time you saw them. OOC - PLEASE NOW MARK YOUR THREAD AS [ RESCUED ] instead of OPEN or CLOSED TEAM CHOICE:c) You call the secretary out by name. You mention the Trials, and the last time you saw them.

Circe had awoken rather frightened when she heard a loud wham sound. What was making that noise in her room? Did someone break in? That seemed pretty impossible. Her eyes had stayed closed the whole time, but she noticed that her blankets were gone, that the incense that filled her room was also gone. So was her bed. That seemed weird. Instead she felt the cold ground beneath her, the distinct feeling of grass. And something seemed, wrong. Well, more so wrong then the other things.
Opening her eyes she found herself staring up at a black sky that was filled with a grey fog. Her black eyes squinted ever so slightly as the ghoul tried to look beyond the fog but she quickly found herself incapable of doing so. It seemed foreboding. With a light "umph" sound the ghoul rose to sit on her butt, her arms bent at the elbow, allowing her to stay up. "What's going on?" She asked herself out loud as she scanned the area around her. Rather quickly she noticed that her group members were there with her. I don't like the looks of this. She thought to herself before her eyes focused on Elle. Or him.
Well that wasn't true. The fact was she didn't like the situation they were in after that day of flirting. Things between them were strained and awkward. And the time they had spent avoiding each other seemed to make it worse, or at least it felt like that to her. Circe looked away from him, trying to avoid making eye contact. Not only did she not know what she was doing there or what the heck was going on but now she was stuck with someone she felt even more confused about. Going back to sleep sounded like a good plan right now.

The slimer sludged; the trials of War had taken a physical toll on him. All he wanted to do was sleep, and if it needed be, he was to melt and mold himself into his bed. Unfortunately, he wasn’t on it. His fingers ran through the cold and wet grass. His nose wrinkled at the smell of earth. Still he was tired, and still he sludged on.
He’s been through ice and snow twice, and a little grass and moist earth was nothing compared to it. He just wanted some peace, sleep and silence.
WHAM.
It woke him. He took a breath in, and he glowed a little brighter as he exhaled. His eyes opened, and shimmered a little green, yet it lulled, the lids drooped, half closed. His slime took shape and color of his usual garb. It hardened to the familiar fleshy flushed peach skin. The orifice on his head flattened to form lips, and opened again, round, as he let a yawn out.
Then, he heard Circe speak. It had been awhile to hear a word out of her. It came to a point to where he wasn’t sure if he was avoiding her or she was avoiding him. The last trial was sort of a break from what had happened with the trial before. Still he wasn’t sure what to do, but he welcomed her words to his ears.
“I think… this is the next test.” He answered as he found his other team members within the vicinity and no one else, and nothing else, not even the sun it seemed.

As soon as she heard Elle respond, Circe looked over at the boil with a slightly surprised look. Had he really just responded to her? Or was he just talking in general? A small part of her was excited and happy to hear his voice again. But then there was the confused part of her that wished he hadn't spoken at all.
"Death.... Or Conquest?" She asked in response a little quieter then necessary. This seemed to be a horrible turn of events. Well, mostly. Despite everything Circe really did enjoy Elle's company and just him in general. But once more she was reminded of what happened and the after effect. She wasn't sure why it felt so weird between them. Nothing like this had ever happened to her before and she had flirted with a ton of guys before. Only one or two had ever flirted back with her. One had made it overly obvious while the other... Not so much. But that wasn't the point! He had flirted back. So that meant it wasn't her fault anything was weird between them... Right?
Somehow that didn't seem right. "I don't like this." Circe added without much clarification as to what it was she didn't like.
-----Edited in this part---- And then of all things a fog creature thing appeared out of nowhere, heading for Elle. What should she do? What could she do? It seemed to be solely focused on him which meant she was in the clear. Should she let him fight alone? Or should she help? There were far to many decisions for her liking so the ghoul quickly closed her eyes and started playing eenie minie moe in her head. She just hoped in her decision making Elle wouldn't get hurt.

The slimer didn’t answer. He felt something odd. His eyes glowed a little as he caught some movement at the edge of his eyes. He turned first his head and the rest of his body, instinctively taking a step back, and levitating a few inches off the ground. It was just a fog.But his eyes grew wider in amazement as the fog itself manifested what it seemed to be eyes, a head and limbs; a humanoid being before him. He let his defense down a little bit, since he felt that it could be a kindred a spirit; a kindred a ghost in their presence. Unfortunately, it wasn’t friendly. El Greco swerved from the attack, barely. He made a fist, and held himself back for a few seconds, but swung at it. “I’m sorry”, he whimpered, as his fist drove towards the fog being. "Attack!" Circe whispered to herself as she quickly jumped to her feet, charging at the fog creature. Her eenie minie moe method had once more chosen the path for her and she wasn't about to go against the system now. It seemed to work.... Most of the time at least. When she was behind the fog thing she put out her hands and began to make slashing motions at the fog. How did you defeat a thing like this?

Zurine wasn't sure what woke her - the loud disturbing sound that kept repeating itself in the background, the earth shaking..the strange feeling beneath her cause she could have sworn she fell asleep on her bed..or the sounds of conversation and fighting? maybe fighting that was happening somewhere in her vicinity. All in all it was enough to jerk her awake rather rudely.
"Where am I?!? Whats happening?!? WHAT IS THAT!" She babbled out as soon as she opened her eyes, jerking into a sitting position and taking in the scene around here - all in all it was a lot to take in at the same time, though the odd background, the scary drill and the figures slowly approaching in the distance took a backseat to the sight of some strange fog creature attacking some of her teammates. One thing at a time she told herself and obviously the fog beast was the immediate danger. pulling herself into a crouch she leapt at the fog ghost with some foggy idea of trying to tackle it or something..okay so maybe her brain wasn't quite fully functioning yet and her aim was a bit odd cause she hit the ground rather then the fog beast and it HURT..not a dream then her brain supplied in a rather unhelpful manner.

“I-I-I don’t know what it is.” El Greco turned to Zurine. “I think this is a test.” The slimer rubbed the area where he was struck as he walked between her and the creature. “We’re the only ones here. It’s only our team, and this thing… but I think, this thing wants what we want.” The slimer clenched his fists again. “Home.” The ghost swung once more at the fog creature, his face contorted. It had a dreamy quality as it faded, yet it felt real. Everything around them was surreal. He felt a little sorry for the fog creature; real or not. Once Elle had defeated the fog creature the sudden strength Circe had found dissipated however her fear of the moment didn't go away as she took in the two figures that were coming towards the direction. "Zurine, Elle, I think we should hide." She said as she walked over to the two and grabbed them, trying to pull them back behind a large rock. "Who are they? What are they doing here when everyone else is missing?" Circe asked of her teammates. Though still fully aware of the uncomfortableness of the situation she had put herself in.

Picking herself up off the ground as Elle finished off the fog..thing..Zurine rubbed one of her elbows absently and was able to take the time to really get a good look at their surroundings "This test is nothing like any of the others..and that thing over there is eating a hole in the world" She added, pointing a somewhat shaky finger towards the crumbling wall and the drill with its black mist. It was dissolving things, that wasn't normal.
But okay..a test..so this was like a..dream or augmented reality, that's what they called it right? When things were fake but looked real. It looked way to real and she'd never heard of a dream where you actually felt pain. She'd definitely felt it when she hit the ground. It wasn't until CIrce grabbed her and tried to drag her towards a rock that Zurine recalled the two approaching figures she had somewhat hazily noticed when she woke up. Snapping her head in that direction even as she let Circe pull her behind the rock she noted that they were a good bit closer now. "But what if they know whats going on? Maybe they're..guides or something"
And even as she said that..another of those fog beasts appeared and made another attack. "There's another one!" She yelled out a warning to her group.

Circe looked at Zurine and shook her head. "But what if they are the cause of all this? Or what if they are here to fight us?" Circe asked, seeing the point in the ghouls question but still not willing to believe that they were okay. After all these were two unknown creatures. Who knew what their intentions were or what they wanted. It didn't seem like a good idea to try and test that theory now.

Just as she had thought they had escaped danger or the onslaught of attacks she found herself very wrong and mistaken as another fog creature appeared and attacked her! It hadn't done much harm to her but, the fact that it had attacked her for no reason bothered her. Once more this creature talked about home. Briefly Circe wondered if these were students. But that thought quickly passed as she kicked at the creature, just barely hitting it. Once more she found herself perplexed on how to fight fog. Maybe Elle would have the right idea. "No." She whispered to herself. She was not going to ask him for help right now.
