Team Members Zar (Bane), Emily (liz), Nuru (Riyoku), JD (Ravvlet), Herryk (pinch) IF YOU CHOOSE OPTION A: YOUR THREAD IS STILL MARKED OPEN a) Hide behind the rock out of sight to wait for the two unfamiliar Halloweeners to leave The sound of the footsteps stop. There is a pause. "Did you hear something?" Another moment of tense silence. "Nothing, we should keep on going, I still have another two mission reports to fill out, and I'd rather do it when you know, the sun is still up." "I hate b***h sentry duty." The other reaffirmed after a second, a voice that looked really disjointed with the size and shape of the body. "There's nothing here anyway, not even a sign of a freaking-" air quotes "- survivor group. What are the higher ups planning anyway?" The first didn't say anything in response to the question. "Let's move on. They said they spotted sightings at around 25°22"N, 72°32'33"W." A pause. "That's the remains of the old city hall, genius. Let's get a move on." Thankfully, a few seconds later, the footsteps retreated. The students had avoided disaster, it seemed, and interestingly enough, gained some valuable information. The question was, was it really information or a trap? As they take a better look at the landscape, dull, and bleak, they would notice something fluttering in the wind, pinned to the back of the tree. A notice: " THIS SECTOR HAS BEEN CLAIMED AND IS UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF DEUS EX MACHINA AS OF 12/31/1999." There was also a path extending around the tree, the only path that seemed even remotely used, though the fog was making it hard, if not impossible to see which direction it extended. It looked like if the students wanted to get out of here alive, or at least figure out what was going on, they would need to choose a path. a) Follow the direction of the ??? figures as they walked off, which goes directly to where The Town Hall would be. b) Question the remaining status of Amityville and head towards where their homes would have been, not the dorms, but their actual relative homes in The Town Heightsc) The students are at the edge of where they had seen Horsemen leave that one time, perhaps they should check out the remains of the Weeping Forest instead? TURDD'S CURRENT CHOICE: Quote: b) Question the remaining status of Amityville and head towards where their homes would have been, not the dorms, but their actual relative homes in The Town Heights

Herryk slowly regained consciousness, curled up on his side. A slender body was spooned against his front, and Herryk gave a low rumble as he squeezed a thick arm tighter around the body pressed against him.
Wait. He ... he didn't ...
Slowly trailing a hand upwards in search of a lovely lady lump - and finding none - Herryk's eyes shot open.
And stared into the back of JD's head.

Something seems to have separated from the mass of fog, staring hungrily in your direction. It tries to talk, but instead, hisses lowly, though you can make out a single word as it speaks.
Home.

Johnny Danger lived life to the limit.
He spent his days at school, his afternoons rehearsing, and his nights sometimes on the road, at concerts. He didn't have time to mess around when it came to hair care. And that is why every night, he applied liberal amounts of Wendy Witch's Hair Slime™, topped with a hair net. Simply rinsing it out in the mornings left it loose, bouncy and free- not unlike the rocker himself.
At least, that's what the magazine ad had read.
In reality, JD had a rather lot of free time most nights, and that wasn't the only product in Wendy Witch's illustrious line he used. On this particular evening, he added a liberal dose of WW's Night Rejuvenaton™ Face Scream, a Rosalind Remnant Eyemasque™, and a pair of Scareling's First Ear Plugs™. He was a light sleeper, ok? So, it wasn't the noisesome drill that woke him from his beauty sleep, nor the lack of Temper-Impediment™ mattress, or the mysterious case of the missing Authentic Egyptian Mummy Wrap™ 500 threadcount sheets. Ok, it may have been a tiny bit due to the lack of Harpy-Down™ feather pillows.
But it was MOSTLY the sensation of rough, calloused hands caressing his chest as something large and warm cupped itself around his backside.
He ripped off the mask, rolling over and face first into-
Herryk?

Herryk gave a groan and immediately rose to his feet. He then hefted JD up in his arms and threw the demon at the mistbeast.
Swing and a hit!

It looked to stumble back, only to right itself and start shuffling closer to Herryk.
It just wanted to get close to you

He never thought he'd be so happy about being launched into the air and thrown at something.
That 'something' turned out to be some kind of creepy fog creature. What in Halloween was going on? Where were they? Where was his dorm? Why did that tree look familiar?
And most importantly, "What did you do with my SHEETS?!" JD hissed viciously, punching out at the weird and blurry creature. Oh, it was so on.
Unfortunately, his swing went wild, and he merely spun himself over into the dirt. His black silk boxers (featuring a Humorous Pumpkin over the crotch) got scuffed with dirt as he landed gracelessly on his a**.

Herryk was thankful that he'd actually put his too-small pajama bottoms on last night before he'd rested. He didn't usually sleep, but after the trials at the beach and the obstacle courses, he'd been downright exhausted.
"Haw!" He guffawed when JD went after the fog-beast, delivering a glancing blow of his own.

What the- was this thing TALKING?
More importantly, was Herryk laughing at him? He got to his feet, huffily dusting off his derriere and made another go at the creature - this time with a measure of caution.
It didn't help, and he missed again. He drew back and glared at his teammate. "What are you and this thing doing in my dorm? And where is all my STUFF?"

Herryk was far too busy doing a sitout full nelson atomic drop to the mist monster to answer JD, but once the fogbeast was destroyed, Herryk turned to face the demon.
"Herryk believes that JD should wake up and realize that he is in his underpants. This is not JD's dorm room. Herryk is not... entirely sure what is going on."

JD looked down.
And then back up.
"Where...what..." he began, but stopped almost immediately. He touched his face. Yep. The mask was still there, pleasantly dry and crinkly. Only his bathroom wasn't here anymore, and neither was his shower. Another hand, another check, and yes- he was still wearing a hair net. Clutching it in his fist, he ripped it off and stomped on it angrily. What the ********, Amityville.
He brushed a few strands of wet hair out of his face, and scrubbed at his cheeks, flaking off most of the remnants of skin product. That would have to do for morning ablutions, he supposed darkly. Tossing his limp locks over one shoulder, he glanced around. There was a strange noise in the distance and...fog. They were outside, definitely, but where?

Pale and wide-eyed, Emily looked more ghost than witch as she walked slowly through the fog in her white night gown, bare feet moving soundlessly over the desolated school grounds. She was all alone, no caustic cat familiar sauntered after her, snapping out commands or rude remarks. Mr. Monty had left her...or she had left him. It was that time all over again.
She was alone.
Home!
Emily's head slowly turned at the whispered shout.
She was not alone.
Home!
They were here...or she was there. Again.
It was happening all over again, just like she'd always known it would.
Breath trembling, she tried to hold the tears in. Last time she'd cried and it had just made everything worse. This time...this time...
The fog in front of her cleared and there was...
Johnny Danger
Herryk
She was not alone.
The small witch raced across the grounds and immediately latched onto the rockstar, bursting into tears.
