Logan and Adelll looked to each other and Kane, glancing to the chains that bound them. Logan spoke to them calmly. "It's best we begin moving for now. One way or another, everyone will be heading towards the top of the summit. We will inevitably run into the others along the way." With that, he began to lead them up the mountain.

Adell shivered lightly from the snow. He didn't remember hearing that the Chunin exams actually required a person to die, let alone that the proctor was allowed to give favoritism. Adell followed, looking around curiously, holding his hands together, his arms close.

Shikarama cursed under his breathe. Who the hell made this man a proctor? At that, whom the hell approved this particular test. He had to remain calm in this situation. He headed up the mountain side, glancing to his partner as he moved. "Alright, we will have to work together in getting through this, and we can't afford to wait."

Izaya listened to the speech that joker gave and as soon as they all heard that someone had to die, Izaya knew that this was the test for him. He took control of the body, transforming its structure to fit his image before taking his coat, gloves, and air-tanks. All in all, he really only weighed about 250 lbs. As soon as he got to the top, he can forsake the air tanks if it becomes an issue as the Temple has given him a way to meditate at high altitudes so he would not suffocate from lack of air. Izaya sat down with the air-tank on his lap and then smiled to the rest of them before lifting himself and sending himself to the top of the mountain in what people might say would be record time as there was no stop for him on the way up. It would pretty much take him almost an hour still but he reached the top with hardly any difficulty and set himself down before starting to breath through the air-tank. It would be a while before any of the others would reach him at the top so he decided to set up a defense just in case someone reaches the top quickly and tries to do him in. He placed three kunai around him, two in front of him at his sides and one directly behind him. He then started to meditate, looking into the future just in case someone would try to attack him.

In the back of his head, he thought about the rules... There indeed was a large door here but the idea was interesting. If the door opens with one key, then that would mean only one person would have to die... Literally... But since everyone would want to advance in the exams, the only way to pass would be to gang up on a single target and once one person has been killed, the remainder would be able to advance no problem... Then there is the problem with the chains... If someone in a chain gang were to be attacked, the rest would fight to keep themselves alive meaning the best people to attack would be those who are not chained... This would be tricky. Now how to convince the others without the chains to gang up against a team? That was the question.

As Izaya pondered, a mountain lion stalked Izaya, wanting the fresh meat that appeared in its area. It tried to attack Izaya by jumping at him from behind but suddenly had the kunai stab straight into its eye, jutting out the back of its head, killing it effectively. Izaya sighed as he realized that it would be best to just go ahead and start skinning the mountain lion using his telekinesis. Only taking a half hour, he finished cutting the cat up and started to eat... What a pleasant smell. Death that is...

Shikarama Nara, The Dedicated Genius

Shikarama listened to his partner...whom, to him at least, appeared odd. He seemed completely unaffected by the cold. Shikarama was in relatively heavy clothing but shivered still without a coat. He glanced to Kyonshi as he responded to the joker. He smiled a bit, recognizing the words as quite wise. "I think our getting along should be quite easy." He said. As he walked, he suddenly felt the boy's aura next to him explode. His chakra, for but a moment, was impressively immense. He looked to the boy's eyes, and it appeared he had Sharingan, with an odd shape to them. He was with an Uchiha. But, the next moment, he was gone seemingly nowhere. The moment after that, he landed, struggling to keep his balance, beside Kyonshi. He looked around, catching his breathe. He had never experienced anything like that. On each side of them was a dead deer and a lion, The boy was already working on the lion, skinning it. He took out his own kunai, and with hesitation, went to work on the deer. The deer was considered a sacred animal to the Nara clan. But the creature was already dead, the best he could do was make use of it. "I guess compared to you. I've never seen a technique such as that, though. That couldn't have been the body flicker technique." He gently cut off the skin and began shaping it, using the tendens and ligaments to hold it together. He then looked up as the undead boy spoke. Teleport...so that's what you did. As for the other techniques, I understand. For now that, we must have a significant lead over most of the others. And of course, we must always keep our senses wary." Shikarama quickly followed to keep up. He quickly wrapped the skin over his cloak as they went.

Shikarama followed readily as they went. He listened calmly while the man talked. He was certainly surprised. This young man was resurrected. He had heard of such jutsu existed, but never imagined he would meet someone as such. He moved as well as he could through the snow. Despite his undead partners worrying about being attacked from above, Shikarama did have certain skills that could provide a defense against such techniques. After Elbane introduced himself, Shikarama decided to do the same. "Alright, then allow me to return the favor. My special skills are tactical in nature. I am best as a mid- to long-range fighter. The particular skills of my clan would allow me to end a fight rather quickly. I also have one of the strongest defenses there are." He could see the top of the mountain coming closer and closer into view. Despite his desire to keep moving he nodded to Elbane, slowing down. He quickl lept alongside Elbane, reaching the tree with him. He nodded to him at his request to cease speaking. He looked out, slightly in front of Elbane, still hidden within the shadow of the tree. He made no sound, keeping the watch of a sentry, but keeping an eye on the man whom had gone ahead of everyone. Shikarama began to gather kunai and other object, and began working on them, preparing several usable traps. For now he wished to avoid confronting the man. It would be best to avoid acting until he was certain of his abilities and of others.

He also recognized quite readily that someone had to die, but only one person had to. He knew that for most whom had a moral center, it would seem in the best interest to kill as few as possible. This best possible situation would be to select one person to kill.

Shikyo Uchiha
She giggled slightly, moving up slowly through the snow as her gaze came upon a small grouping of dinosaurs in the distance. Dinosaurs? How is that even possible.. Weren't they extinct?! She shook her head slightly, may as well make use of them in some say or form. Rising to her full height, and beginning to dash forwards towards them. She released a mid level yell at them, causing each of them to turn their heads towards her and then begin rounding about. Of course they would look upon her as food, these large Tyranosaurous rex like dinosaurs all shifting their small hands slightly as if wanting to grab a hold of her as some of them open and snap their jaws shut with a clack. She wasn't going to let them get very far in this endeavor though. Tugging on the chain connected to the base of her fan she draws the fan off her back in an instant. Grabbing and whipping the Gunbai around in order to make a simply flourish with the hard wooden fan in the direction of their beady black eyes. Immediately their pupils will dilate slightly, as the effect of her fan would come under way. Shikyo grinned, all of them lining up one by one in front of her, while she simply leaped upwards and landed upon the back of one of them. With a slight grin forming on her face, she raised and then thrust forward the Gunbai in her hand, all seven dinosaurs at her disposal beginning a rapid march down the mountain towards those below. Although nothing more then exceptionally flashy, anyone between where she was at perhaps around a little more then half way up the mountain, and the base would be forced to look upon the sight of seven dinosaurs and a warmly dressed young female charging down the side of the mountain. Should she come across any shinobi on the way down, all dinosaurs would turn and charge them other then the one she was riding. Aiming to chomp them in half with their mighty jaws or simply crush them with a well placed stomp.

The moment that Kane had viewed Shikyo's Body flicker, Kane would find her appearing before him. A sickle in one hand with the long chain attached to the fan upon her back. The sickle was held upwards in the motion of cutting Kane in two, while Shikyo swung the weapon downwards towards Kane in a violent fashion. Her cold gray eyes staring him down with sinister intent as she attacked in such a way as to apparently be attempting to cleave him in half. Since it would be clearly impossible for Shikyo to be in two places at once, this technique was simply a genjutsu intent upon tricking anyone that had viewed her body flicker when she had departed. Although to those that were afflicted, it would seem as real as ever, to the point that the true Shikyo would not be able to be seen. To those that were not afflicted, it would appear as if their ally was simply combating against ghosts in the air.

Lucius Jonz
Since most of the people appeared to be leaving, Lucius grinned to himself. Walking forwards and then beginning to run up the mountain. Dodging back and forth in order to attempt placement of his step onto rocks, he would rapidly ascend upwards towards the top. "What a pretty place, I'm so glad Uncle Joker chose here for this part of the exams!" He says with a laugh emitting outright from his lips, his foot slipping slightly as he extends an arm outwards, a kunai being pulled with his other hand in order to be slammed into the side of the mountain. "Why thank you Kunai!" Lucius exclaims, using his other hand to pat the end of the kunai he was holding onto in order to prevent himself from falling to his death. It would seem no one had been able to judge chakra levels too well, so despite himself being an easy target in the beginning. They all ran off on their own anyways. Although there were still a few people back, as well as some puddle attached to a goat? He didn't pay them much heed anymore. Lucius wouldn't rely on the airtanks just yet, saving whatever air contents that were inside for when he needed them, Lucius drew out a second kunai from the pouch with his other hand, slamming it into the side of the rock, and pulled the first one free, making his way up this side of the mountain that he had managed to find. It was a cliff face after all, what luck. "I just... Love cliffs... So much! They make... Me... So... So! Happy!" He says loudy to himself, with the same happy grin plastered on his face.

The last thing Micha remembered was, standing in Nano village, saying good bye to her friend. Now all she saw was white. It was snow, falling from the sky. She quickly sat up, snow falling off of her coat as she sat up. Apparently whoever brought her to the mountain gave her some supplies to help her out. Then shivers when down her spine as a man’s voice could be heard. He began talking, but it sounded more like rules and guidelines compared to an explanation. She was certain that the chunin exams began, and that’s why she was here. She made sure to listen closely to Joker as he spoke to all of the genins.

Once he finished speeking she scanned the white, windy mountain looking at all of the other genins. She was glad she was given extra supplies to help her get to the top of the mountain. But she was even happier that she wasn't chained to anyone else. She would just be sure to ascend the mountain as fast as possible. But while she would ascend towards the summit, she would have to keep her guard up. Anyone of the genin's may try and attack her to take the key. As she thought of this, her finger traced the scar that The Joker kindly placed on her. She would have to gain access to the door, keep herself alive, and move fast.

She took a step and felt the snow crunch under the weight of her foot. It was windy, and visibility wasn't too great do to the constant snow that was falling. She would just have to be careful to not get turned around in the storm. The best idea she thought was to head up the mountain at a nice steady pace, that way she could keep her defenses up, not get lost, and still make it to the top. Though she probably wouldn't be the first one there. So with that she began her journey to the top, her arms wrapped tightly around her stomach, hugging herself as she walked.
