“Not so high, Lilly!” Honey squealed out as she swung back and forth on a wooden swing that hung suspended from a thick, sturdy tree branch.
Lilly couldn’t help but giggle as she replied, “But you’re a Flying-type! You have wings! You don’t want to go any higher?”
“No, not any higher,” Honey squeaked out, her eyes held shut. It was one thing to fly just above the ground, but high up? That just seemed dangerous! If she fell from a few feet up, she should be fine, but way up in the sky? That was not something she wanted to risk, not in the slightest.
“Fine,” Lilly said with a slight shake of her head. “You think you can keep it up from here?”
“Yeah,” Honey said with a nod. She had trouble getting the swing started, but once it was going, it wasn’t a problem. She still wasn’t fully used to having limbs; she would have to work on better coordinating herself.
At hearing Honey’s reply, Lilly hopped onto the 2nd swing, and quickly took off. She had no problems quickly getting up to speed. She was soon zooming back and forth, reaching heights higher up than Honey had been at her highest.
Lilly was so happy that Sasha had come out with them this morning to help them put up the swings. The lilligant liked to think of herself as agile, but there was no way she could climb a tree like Sasha. The older girl was like a monkey. She couldn’t help but think that it was the perfect day to go swinging. It wasn’t too hot and not too cold, and a gentle breeze blowing through the forest clearing felt refreshing. She was so happy that they decided to come. Honey was as well, though she would be slower to admit it. Despite her mild fear of heights, she, too, was having a great time. Their laughter, as they continued to swing, seemed to echo out into the surrounding forest.

Cheri turned toward the sound of laughter, head tilted, curious as to who it was that was playing so loudly and so nearby. It was a nice sound though, those that the joltik lived with, Oh and Zenny especially, were more prone to complaining, arguing, all out fighting, and in Oh's case throwing around orders, especially in Cheri's direction. As such the blonde teen decided that it was nice to hear laughter instead of all of the normally stuff that went around back home. Due to the Bug Type's general liking of the sound, as well as curiosity over who it might be, it wasn't long before Cheri was drifting forward toward the laughter and the two voices, both female from the sound of it. There were none of those at home either, well occasionally visitor's like Oh's twin, but that was about it... Cheri was the closest one to a female among their family, not that the he would claim as much in front of Oh who insisted upon calling Cheri by the name Charge which was what the male Ho-Oh had dubbed the bug some time ago. No, when at home he would listen when he was called that name even if Cheri didn't much care for it, it was to rough and violent sounding... as though he were going to attack someone at any moment which was far from true!
"Mmm, wonder who is out here." Cheri murmured, drifting forward, hands tightening on the basket that was filled to the top with various sorts of berries that the blond was planning on bringing home as a snack for those that wanted to have them. It was a wide variety that came in different flavors and types, something for everyone, though the cheri berries were the ones that the joltik favored, which was likely why the blond had taken on the name Cheri, even got a tattoo of the berry to commemorate the new name.
Coming up behind the tree the blond haired bug ducked behind it for a moment, composed himself, then peeked around to see who was out there... and couldn't help but to marvel over who was playing there on the swings. So there were more Pokemon that had been effected by Ialu's magical stars then he'd known about Cheri realized, fascinated. Two girls here, a shiny Lilligant and the other one... the other one had to be a combee he thought to himself, taking in the marking on her forehead, the antennae, and the wings. Cheri couldn't help but to wonder if Ialu even know how many of them were out there that had caught a falling star that the Jiarachi had blessed. The joltik meant to ask once he got home, to see if perhaps the Jirachi knew the answer to such a question or if he might only have a rough estimate.

“You’re going to high!” Honey warned Lilly, as she zoomed ever higher. The Lilligant seemed intent on ignoring gravity and was now swinging over the branch that held the swings aloft. With each pass, the ropes would slacken as she reached the crest, only to snap back as the tension returned. This didn’t bother Lilly in the slightest, she was having a blast; it did worry Honey though. Honey could be a bit of a worrier.
“I’m fine Honey,” Lilly replied to her Combee companion. She couldn’t help but find her companions concern amusing. Honey was part Flying Type, after all, and mildly afraid of heights. It didn’t really make a lot of sense. Suddenly, though, Lilly had an idea. Unlike her friend, she was incapable of flight, but she could simulate it; she could feel, for a moment, what it was like to be airborne. “Honey, watch this!” she exclaimed as she let go of the ropes and flew outward.
“No! Don’t!” Honey exclaimed, but all too late. The little Combee couldn’t watch; she shut her eyes tightly and hoped her friend was alright.
Lilly landed with a thud, and after a stunned moment, she popped up to her feet and loudly exclaimed, “That was awesome!” Spreading her arms out, she spun and continued talking. “You should try it Honey!” She knew her friend wouldn’t, but she still had to suggest it. As she spun, she noticed a yellow blur. It took her a moment for her eyes to adjust, but she soon saw it to be another changed Pokémon. “Hello!” she happily exclaimed. She loved meeting new people.
Honey, caught off guard as her vision followed Lilly’s, only managed to emit a squeak.
