MuCephei had been quiet of late, anyone who did that small extra duty for the Negaverse of taking note of such things would have found this easy to confirm. She’d been largely missing from the senshi scene since she had become Eternal.
Tonight however she had made the time, she had come out alone and quiet to stand on the roof top and listen to the sound of the world shifting below. Her long skirt tugged about her legs, the strange feeling of the ‘wings’ that now graced her back ribbons would take some getting used to. Artificial and cherubic wings they were, and quite a task to deal with at times. They knocked things over when she wasn’t careful, and she couldn’t exactly command them to fold because they were nothing more than decoration. Like some metal that said ‘congratulations, you survived this long’.
She backed up a few steps from the edge of the roof, then turned and at a small sprint leaped for the next roof over, she hit it at a run, the heels of her boots jarring even with practice but she didn’t fall. She aimed instead for the next roof, and the one after till she was short of breath and drew herself to a stop again to listen, to feel for the signs of chaos in the world below and to stop running from herself and the world.
“Alright… “ She whispered to the moonlight. “Where am I needed tonight.”

MuCephei was needed exactly a block and a half over, rapidly becoming one block over given how fast Euanthe was running. Every time the pink haired girl slowed down a threatening shadow would appear above her. It was official now, this month was the worst month of her Senshi life.
Really, the only thing worse than being chased by a youma was the fact that it wasn't even a discreet youma. It was scrambling from building to building after her, knocking over flowerpots on fire escapes and jumping and gliding, making all kinds of noise. Didn't the damn thing have any concept of stealth?! Euanthe could feel the comforting pulse of friendly energy somewhere nearby, but she was afraid to call out. What if someone got curious and looked out their window? It was clear that if Euanthe was going to deal with this thing she was going to have to take this fight to the rooftops. She managed to get up a ladder just fast enough to avoid the youma's claws digging into her back and half-stumbled over the roof's threshold. The sound of the youma's claws as they scratched and scrabbled over the brick buildings echoed up into the night air, but the creature seemed reluctant to follow Euanthe over the top of the building.
Catching her breath, Euanthe spied the silhouette of someone standing only a couple roofs over. Oh, were they the source of the friendly aura? Signalling with one arm thrown wearily over her head (she was still too out of breath to yell out a greeting) and the other anchored on her knee for support, she could only hope that whoever they were, they'd sense the youma and understand what was going on.

MuCephei’s eyes widened, she could see the arm waving wildly, hear the wild unearthly howls of a Youma, but she couldn’t feel her fellow senshi’s aura from here, which meant it was weaker didn’t it? Oh god if they needed help…
She ran and jumped and climbed towards them as fast as she could, cursing skirts and the fact that senshi couldn’t teleport the way that the Negaverse could, why was it that Evil seemed to get the cooler tools sometimes? Never mind that they got things like ‘magic’, and had what felt like a great deal more freedom of direction than the side that they, perhaps ironically, called Chaos did.
She landed, a three point landing on the roof top with the younger senshi, she barely took the time to confirm that she did in fact, feel like order, that she was wearing white for a blouse before she clamored to the roof edge and pressed her thumb to her brooch pin to call forth her attack. “BAD BLOOD!” She shouted, calling out her attack and launching the small needles down on the creature. It Yowled sounding like someone was trying to make a bull elephant to a house cat and ran in small maddened circles just below them, balancing by using its long tail. It looked something like a basilisk lizard, but it had arm flaps that suggested the howling thing could glide as well.
She glanced back at her fellow senshi to make sure that she was alright, at least visually before glancing back down at the creature. “Charming thing…” She said sarcastically fumbling with her brooch again, the needles had done little, time to ramp up her attack it seemed. “Are you alright? Is your magic offensive or defensive?” She asked hurriedly.

Blood!? Euanthe only saw the needles out of the corner of her eye, but she was pretty sure she wasn't mistaken about what they were. Did this Senshi just rain blood down on that youma? Yeesh, her allies really did come in all sorts didn't they. Euanthe was envious. Clearly blood could be used offensively, but tragedy was a bit too... ephemeral. Too bad, maybe she could've taken care of the thing on her own if it weren't.
"I- can't... it doesn't..." Clearly she wasn't back to 100% yet. Oh, if only she could have a drink of water! Euanthe swallowed thickly, sucking on the inside of one cheek before she attempted to speak again. "My magic... is freaking useless," she gasped out, forcing herself to stand up straight and look directly at the other Senshi. "S- sorry... it's strictly... supportive." Not to mention it took aiming. Euanthe shook out her hands in front of her, trying to release the tension that might cause them to shake.
There was a small hiss from below them and then silence... maybe the blood attack had done more damage than her partner thought? Cautiously Euanthe peeked over the edge to confirm the status of the youma and was promptly met with a row of teeth snapping up in her face. With a small scream she jumped back. "Oh! That's- now that's just rude!" She said, indignant. The youma responded with chittering that almost implied laughter.

“It’s never useless.” MuCephei said shaking her head. “It’s just not always convenient, OH!!” She reached as though to draw the young woman back as the creature lunged, all snapping teeth and gaping maw before it’s chattering ‘laugh’ echoed through the night, mocking them. “My Needles don’t often do much, but so long as I don’t mind a little blood then they can do something.” She offered a wan smile and blinked eyes the color of her very weapon.
“Let’s see if this will do anything, if you’re a support senshi, why not go ahead and do what you do best alright? I very much doubt it could hurt at this point!” She offered and she stepped again to the edge of the roof, the wind catching her hair and fanning it out in a black veil as she pricked her finger again and cried “ BAD BLOOD RIBBONS”.
No Needles this time, a ‘ribbon’ or whip of blood this time lashed out and down with a flick of her wrist, snapping against the scaly hide and drawing a furious snarl as it curled in on itself to try and escape the lash. “Better.” MuCephei hissed through her teeth.

Euanthe nodded, blushing deeply. She felt quite foolish. "Y- you're right! Wouldn't have it as a power if it wasn't good for something..." Still, would it have killed whoever or whatever determined the way their power manifested to give her something a little more flexible? After all, this blood-based Senshi (she'd ask her name once the threat of death was less pressing, and maybe even get to compliment her on her pretty fuku too) was kind of a badass with her ribbons and her needles.
"It needs to be closer for the attack to work, though," Euanthe muttered, mostly to herself, as she studied the creature. It had seemed like it could fly before when it was a scary shadow chasing her through the night, but now it was clear that the monster depended on having a surface for it to launch and land on - why else wouldn't it just fly up over the top and face them directly? If Euanthe was right, then maybe they could send it plummeting to its death. She studied their surroundings, her eyes falling upon a small ledge not far from them.
"Can you use your attack one more time?" Euanthe asked in a hushed tone. Sure it was probably too stupid to understand what they were saying, but she didn't want to risk the slight chance that it might realize they were plotting something. "I don't think it can properly fly. Maybe I could lure it into trying to fly over to get me... and you could knock it out of the air with your attack!" She flashed the other girl a nervous, hopeful grin, as if looking for confirmation that the plan wasn't 100% idiotic.

MuCephei paused, thinking for a moment and then nodded. “I’ll lure it out, I’ll make it chase me and I’ll jump to the next roof, if it comes back for you, promise you’ll run, I’ll give chase to it if I must but I don’t want you hurt. It’s a strong one.” She said with Ernest eyes.
“There may not be much time, please be ready.” She said and braced herself on the edge of the roof, a moment later she was dropping to the level of the youma, her hand going to her brooch to p***k at her finger and cast the lesser of the two spells you had seen her use. Tiny needles pricked its skin as she dared it in a brief challenge to chase her.
“Come on you beast! Follow me if you want some real sport!” She said and spun in a whirl of lace, black fabric and a clatter of red beads. It gave a howl and charged after her, its feet slapping the stonework.

"W- wait!" Euanthe cried out, but MuCephei had already gone over the ledge. She rushed to the side, staring down at the confrontation below. The youma was an agile climber, no doubt it could climb straight up those stone and brick walls... what if MuCephei ended up trapped?! Euanthe ran across the rooftop and jumped the distance between another, trying to keep up with their chase.
The youma lept from one ledge to the next, gliding short distances to try and narrow the space between it and its prey... but none of them seemed like an opportunity to knock it down, the jumps were too short. Maybe an opening for me, though. As the youma's body arched in preparation for another jump, Euanthe tried to gauge where it was planning to land and settled on a particularly promising stone waterspout. She sucked in a deep breath, ran towards it, and took a gamble.
"Kiss of Tragic Fault!" She called out, sending her little beam of light flying at the waterspout as the youma launched itself from its current perch. Apparently luck was on her side today, the youma landed where she'd hoped and the attack connected in the same second. "It- it hit!" Euanthe nearly laughed with relief. Yes, it'd hit, but would it really help at all? Maybe. If flying wasn't its strong suite, it might be that much easier to knock the thing down now.

MuCephei pushed her self off the edge of the roof, spinning as she turned and called out a third attack, yet unnamed. “BAD BLOOD REVELATION!” The bloody whip lashed out as the beast launched itself into the air, tottering as it did so, its normal grace lost to the younger Senshi’s attack. The whip lashed across its brow, slicing it open, as the previous whip like attack had done, but this was more terrible. The blood that ran free of the wound laid open wounds of its own, it blinded, and cut down its face and throat. It struck a wall, screaming in pain, in agony and fell into the waiting arms of gravity.
MuCephei stumbled backwards from her own landing, a boot heel caught the edge of her skirt and she tumbled landing with a less than dignified squeak of shock. “I’m ok!!” She said holding up a hand to prove it. She scrambled back to her feet and ran to the edge of the building to see what became of the creature. All that remained was the smoke of its dispersion and her shoulders sagged in relief, she flashed a grateful grin up to you, her crimson eyes alight.
“Brilliant!”

Euanthe suppressed a little gasp when MuCephei tripped. A false step could mean that she'd meet the same fate as the youma. Thankfully, the girl made a full recovery. Relieved, Euanthe leaned over the side of the building to stare down at the remains of the youma, but the smoke had already begun to vanish by the time her eyes found it in the darkness. "You- you did it!" Hooray for teamwork! Well, actually, hooray for offensive attacks. It was mostly the other girl who did the work of killing it.
One hand reached down to help MuCephei back up to the rooftops, and Euanthe beamed down at her from above. "You were so cool," she said. "The way you smacked it in the face with those whips - wham! It was- it was really great! Is your hand ok from all that, though?" Those blood attacks were neat, but they sure didn't come cheap.

She blinked at you in surprise and shook her head quietly “I think you’re the first person to ask me that.” She said blushing. “You have a good heart, that will serve you well I think, we’re all human but some of us, some of us show the darker side of that. Thank you! Whatever you did set it so off balance, we finished it together, people are safer because of that!” She said and gave you an embrace.
There was something of a teacher in her manner, in her voice, patient and oving of those around her, more so than her years would imply.
“My name is MuCephei, Senshi of Blood…I’m pleased to meet you!”

"Really?" Euanthe was still processing that first part as MuCephei drew her into a quick embrace. "Th- thank you... I think it was mostly you, though." She bit her lip, her smile shifting crooked. It was quite nice to be praised like this, though she wasn't sure she deserved it. Mostly she'd just run around a lot. In fact, the youma probably would've eventually caught her and eaten her if MuCephei hadn't happened to be in the right place at the right time. Somehow it still hadn't been as scary as her last youma encounter, though.
"Nice to meet you MuCephei... I, uh, I gathered about the blood," she said, adjusting her veil self-consciously. "I'm Euanthe, of Tragedy. Eheheh. Blood and Tragedy. It's kind of fitting, isn't it?"

MuCephei blushed slightly, a pleasant pink over her pale cheeks. “The blood thing is a bit gory, I know.” She admitted and brushed a hand at her long angled skirt, toying with the lace. “I almost think I’d rather have had you’re sphere to be honest, less… well, bloody, and less stabbing myself in the fingers.” She gave a laugh, warm and bubbly.
“Well, it’s been a while since I patrolled, but if you’d like, since you’re pretty new I can patrol with you again!” She nodded looking like it seemed to her, a most excellent idea.
“Would you like that? I’m not the best fighter out there, that’s certain but if nothing else two heads are better than one!”
