Umo paced back and forth across the ground. So many things to think about. His mind raced in a panic. Kika wanted to go back to her swamp but... Umo was here now. He found his pride pleasing but... something about Kika-- something about the way she was made him dizzy. He never thought he'd have these feelings for anouther Lion. Ever. She was amazing and did not find him odd; his ways. He wanted to ask Asi, his leader, the biggest question of his life. "I want to go to the swamps to get to know a lioness more. I think we may be compatable... but... I do not want to anger you. He had spoke over and over in his mind. He was almost paniced by the thought of Asi being angry. Course, he had meet Asi and had a feeling he would not mind but he wanted to know for sure.

And as the old saying went... speak of the devil and he shall come? Even though Umo was only really thinking about Asi the general concept was the same. The big, coffee colored male came lumbering into view, still at a distance.
Curled happily on his back was his youngest son, but also the oldest of this litter. Yes, this was the second time Asi was a father and he was very proud. The creamy little boy was fast asleep, which was a good thing because he wasn't driving asi up the wall with questions. "Oy! aye thurr, Umo." He called, finally spotting the other. He hadn't seen him in a while!

Umo spun, his tail raising over his back quickly. His crimson eyes widened at seeing the youngster on his back. He nodded with a smile he spoke. "Asi. I am so happy I found you. I have some important things to discuss. I see you brought your offspring-" He smiled, though his voice was still flat. "-and I am glad." He said standing up and pacing. How to word this... his head racked. Kika was waiting for him a ways off... waiting to go to the swamps. To her home.
Looking to Asi he sighed. "I have found a female." He looked around for a moment. Then back to Asi, his leader. "She is of the Swamp pride. I am very fond of her. I may even be in love with her. I... I would like your permission to leave and veiw her home... but I do not wish to stay away permently... I... I do not know what i wish." he rubbed a paw across his face nervously. "I... I love her Asi but i do not know the rules of our pride.... I wish to be loyal but... My loyalty to her is great." He looked up to Asi. For once Umo knew what it felt to be loved. Like his leader. "I am in love Asi. I am." He said, his shoulder quivering. "Oh, Asi I hope you may meet her one day, her name is Kika and she is amazing. She.... speaks diffrently like me. " He said, spinning in a circle slowly. "I must sound like I am crazy."

Asi blinked a little. Important things? Asi didn't like discussing imoprtant things! His face fell a little, until Umo anounced just what those important things were. Those things were okay. Important in a way, but not what Asi had been thinking of. He gave the other a playfuly grin. "Go' yerself a girl, eh?"
That was good news. But leaving hte pride? Asi sighed a little. They needed something to attract more potential members here. But he did apreciate that Umo only wanted to leave the lands, not the pride itself. But that would probably change once he got to know this lioness better and all of that. "Yeh do no 'ave teh leave the pri', yeh can go on yer trip. Jus' promise me yeh will bring 'er down ta these lands sometime so we can mee'er." He gave a bigger grin at this.

Umo was astonished. His crimson eyes widened so much they looked like the size of beetles. He stepped foreward, his surpise and happiness apparent and for the first time of his life; his voice had emotion. (Be surpised. This is like a one time event!) "Asi, you mean it!? I can go with Kika? Oh Asi. You do not know how much this means to me! Thank you-" He bound around Asi's form, his tail high over his back. His voice rose and fell, emotion. This had to be a big thing to Umo. "-I will; Oh I will bring her back here to meet everyone! I will! Oh Asi she is so wonderful! You don't even know!" He said, his voice now not only having emotion but he was using words that were joined. He calmed down, stepping up beside Asi.
He smiled at him. He sat. "She is very loyal to her people, the spirits and the swamp. I do not wish to ever leave this pride but if we decide to join together and become parents-" He looked to Asi, his voice monotone again. "-we may have a pride that is an allie." He smiled. "She is so gorgous Asi. I know you love your Ari very much... I hope i grow to love Kika that way." He scrunched up, his entire body as a very large and comical smile crossed his lips.
