Skills: Literacy. All other skills, such as amateur herbalism, farming, sewing, and such, are considered normal for Viking women.

Weapons: A guisarme, which is a long spear tipped by an axelike blade with a hook on the reverse of the blade. She calls it a billhook. She has a short sword for formal fighting, but the billhook is the tool she uses daily as hook, axe, club, and quarterstaff.

Friends: Strong professional relationship with the others who run the village. They trust her to get the job done. Not sure if they're also personal friends or not.

Personality: Loud, acerbic and commanding, as befits her job on Berk. She is actually pensive and reserved, but you cannot be shy if you have to work with the public, especially a coarse and crude bunch of sailors . She treats strangers roughly at first, but mellows as you get to know her. She takes her job seriously.

Bio: Thorva grew up hearing tales of the European mainland from her seafaring parents, and she secretly pines to be one of the noble ladies of the court. Any court. She would like to wear fine silks and satins, bathe every day, and listen to minstrels strum on their lutes while she sups on strawberries and fine wines. Instead, she gets to check manifests and inspect ships for rust and termites. Her three brothers have hired themselves out as sailors, as there was no work at home for them, and they send her souvenirs from time to time. They have also promised to send her a minstrel or a lordling, but she's not holding her breath.

She has a weakness for foreign luxuries, especially soap. If you want to get on her good side, give her imported soap. She does not tell anyone this, as she does not want to look soft. However, the few that have been inside her home have noticed that she likes the finer things of life.

Appearance/Physical Description: Five foot two and widely built. Her hair is brown and shaggy, and no one remembers seeing her eye color, as she is usually squinting into the sun or wind. She has to shout a lot on the job and boss people around, so her voice is loud and harsh most of the time. In private, it is soft and ordinary.

I based her somewhat off the Dock Hag from Flapjack. Maybe a little younger and more thoughtful. Do you want me to fill out a character profile for the dragon as well, then?
