Playing cops and robbers wasn't exactly what Chaonis had been hunting for, but it would work for now. He watched the two men in the store from a window, the senshi perched on the roof of the next building over. He watched them as they moved around inside, careful, quiet, like they had everything under control.
Like they knew what they were doing.
In a way, he had to give them credit. He was a thief in his own right, and he had never had the finesse they did. They were practiced, as a duo and as a burglary team. They could follow each other, and seemed to communicate without needing to speak.
They had picked a place with no cameras, which meant it likely didn't have much money to be taken but they could make away with anything they wanted.
Chaonis would just have to show them that no matter how good they were, there was always someone better.

Sailor Iris was not subtle. This was always the case. She had been waiting for one of her teammates to show up for a patrol, but yet again she was too early and left waiting. Her feet soon enough had managed to drift from the meeting place to some place where she could sense the energy of another Eternal senshi. However, when she found him, he was on the edge of a building.
And there were people fussing around in another building nearby.
For a moment, she was beside herself, glancing back and forth between the senshi and the team of robbers, hands on her hips. Eventually her eyes remained on the boy.
"REALLY?!!! REALLY?!!!!!!" she shouted out in his direction, not really seeming to care if anybody else heard her. She was just beside herself with rage that this d**k was just watching as a store got robbed.
"GET YER a** DOWN 'ERE RIGHT NOW, F*CKTARD!"

Eternal Sailor Chaonis frowned.
He felt the energy of another eternal in the area, but her voice cutting the silence of the night made it unnecessary for him to have to go and look for her. He recognized the tone from the last time they had met, knowing she was not his biggest fan. He felt things were different now.
If anything, he had even more confidence than last time. Which didn't seem possible, but there it was. He grinned broadly.
"What is it, little lady?" he called down from his perch, watching her like a hawk. He hopped down. "You're blowing my cover. Look, now they're running." He motioned into the store, and the two inside were scrambling to get their things and get out of there as fast as they could.
Whoever was yelling outside was a danger, even if they didn't realize they were dealing with super heroes. If anything, if anyone saw them they'd call the cops and that was something to avoid in its own right. Chaonis crossed his arms over his chest, tilting his head.
"Aiding and abetting the criminal folk, huh? I should have known."

No, Sailor Iris, tell the other senshi what you really think!
Shaking her head, she went up to the window and pressed her face against it like a kid oggling some toys in the window during Christmas time. They obviously hadn't used the front door, since that would have been way too stupid on their part. Her cheeks puffed out slightly as she began to try and figure out how they had gotten into that store in the first place.
It was almost as if the face in the window now was a mix between a senshi and a puffer fish with how fat her cheeks were getting in a frustrated puff.

Chaonis frowned at her thoughtfully, though it was clear he was feigning the expression. Be it the frown or the thought, though, was anyone's guess. Maybe both. Either way, he was watching her with a barely concealed grin on his face.
"I was waiting for the perfect time. You know. Without running them off like some crazy person with a volume control issue."
The crooks had gone out the back door, which they had secured going in. They were organized enough to have an escape route and to keep an eye on it. But they were panicked now and were in no mood to get themselves caught, so they were in a hurry to get out. it would put them in the alley behind, but they would either have to climb up to the roofs or come around to the streets.
Not wanting to hit the main roads, their only choice was to find a way out of the alley by scaling fences or walls.
Chaonis began walking toward the nearest alley, though he didn't look like he was going to go stop the bad guys. He looked over his shoulder, shrugging leisurely.
"You chased them off. You're the one that should be kicking yourself. I was doing my job: you were just messing it up. So thanks for all your invaluable help, Skittles."

She snorted against the glass, squinting her eyes a bit as she made out which way they were heading out. Where as the d**k on the roof was taking his sweet time, the girl started off running towards which direction they had gone, shouting "Why th'f*ck should I believe ya, d**k-face?! Yer just as bad as them!"
Regular old humans only ran so fast, but an Eternal senshi was quite a deal faster. There might have been some delay in catching their escape route, but soon enough she was on their tail. There was no furry like that of the blonde senshi of Rainbows.
She already had her fist tightened up and glowing by the time she called out "Iris Rainbow Ribbon!" Where the thieves had to climb over fences and walls, the eternal senshi was easily able to jump over them like a runner would with hurdles.
Once she thought she was close enough, she whipped the ribbon of colored light towards the one that lagged further behind of the pair.
If anything, it seemed as if she was trying to do what the other eternal senshi didn't seem to be doing.

"When have I ever stolen anything?"
He grinned. Of course, the first time they had met was a good example of that. He had been borrowing from a store, though he couldn't remember what kind. Still, he wasn't exactly the nicest guy around and he chuckled knowing she had every right to suspect the worst of him.
And she would be right. He had just been admiring their work and taking his time. He didn't really care what they broke or stole. He would have stopped them since he was bored, but the collateral damage wasn't really something he cared about.
Ever.
Chaonis had to climb his way up, but he was much more adept at it than the thieves could be. He was not chasing them, though, but the other Eternal.
"What's got your panties in a bunch? Don't you have better bad guys to be chasing then petty thieves? Or are these guys the only ones you're good enough to take down?" He yelled from behind her. The criminals were running across the roof of a building nearby.
They were not going to get very far, no matter how god they thought they were.

It was a swing and a miss on her part. It was a good thing this wasn't baseball where that would have meant something. She could lash out at the thieves as much as she wanted.
However, the commentary was quite distracting to say the least. She wanted to turn to face the a*****e, but if she turned away, she might lose sight of these guys that deserved to go to jail. So as she once more lashed out her rainbow to try and trip up one of the criminals, she was shouting out "I plan t'go patrollin' after this sh*t! I ain't a lazy a*****e who jus' waits fer things t'work out!"

Chaonis laughed.
"Your not waiting is what made them run in the first place! You're making things even harder. I might be lazy, but at least it pays off. Doing things smart to avoid work isn't a crime."
Robbing stores was a crime, he thought with another laugh. He decided to race her, running to catch up to the poor crooks who had no chance of getting away from two eternal senshi, even if they were arguing and distracting each other.
One hit the roof hard when her rainbow got him, and Chaonis laughed. He leaped to that roof and ran over to the criminal that was still on his feet, grabbing on to him and swinging him around. He threw him back toward the middle of the roof, watching him skid on his butt.
Chaonis put his hands on his hips, looking at the two baddies, then at Iris. He was standing across from her now, the two between them.
"There, bad guys caught. Happy?"

Any of the justifications that Chaonis gave seemed to go upon deaf ears at the moment. The only response he got to any commentary about her making the job more difficult was a simple "Spoken like a lazy a**!" For her, there was no fun in things if she didn't work for it. Perhaps it would be one reason why she'd never see on the same level as the a*****e that seemed to be squaring off with her now.
Where the brunette seemed to exude confidence with his stance, the blonde crossed her arms across her chest in a nearly defensive manner. Her scowl was an obvious hint that she wasn't happy yet.
"What 'bout turnin' them in t'the authorities? They f*cked up that store!" If the same thing had ever happened to Hank's place of business, she would have been beside herself with rage. What she had now was sympathetic rage, which was lesser than the actual rage she'd have if someone messed with someone she cared about.
"Chuck'em at the police and maybe I'll be 'happy.'" A pause. "Maybe..." She didn't shift or stir from her place, keeping to that angry stance and her gold eyes continued to glare daggers at her supposed ally.

Chaonis couldn't argue with her there. He was a lazy a**. He didn't see the problem with it, though, like she did. It got him through life, and he had no trouble when he needed to get things done. He still did them. So what was the problem if he did it how he wanted?
Sheesh.
"I am not a cop," he said to her, "if you want to deal with calling the cops and waiting for them to leisurely drive over here an hour later, be my guest. But I'd rather fight the real bad guys. The ones that hurt and kill. These guys are just clowns that took some stuff that can be replaced. Rebuilt."
He shrugged. That was his moral line. He didn't see why stealing and breaking things was seen as so terrible. It wasn't murder, after all. It wasn't energy stealing.
It didn't matter.
He watched her, and a grin crept over his face. He was daring her, and these poor criminals were stuck in the middle of their war. They had no idea what was going on, but it wasn't very fun for them. Chaonis thought it was a blast, though, and he wondered if he could goad her into a rematch. He had a score to settle, and he had enjoyed their last encounter. Probably a lot more than she had, but that was often the case.

It was a rarity for Iris to get to the point of pulling at her hair, but her arms soon enough broke from the lock they had against her chest and began to locate the long strands that framed her face.
"I didn't say call th'police! I said CHUCK'EM at th'police!!! Police can't take their time if you find them!" Seriously, this guy was greatly lacking in ANY form of comic book hero tactics. Batman many times left the bad guys all "gift wrapped" for the police to find in blatantly obvious places. She wasn't a hardcore comic book nerd, but it was pretty much common knowledge in her mind.
And her mind was right (in her ever so humble opinion).
So why the f*ck was this jackass smiling at her like that?! "What th'f*ck are ya smilin' 'bout?" For a moment, she shot a glare at the two criminals. If either of them were even looking at her, she snarled out "Put yer foreheads on th'ground and put yer hands on yer head, and keep'em there!!"

Chaonis laughed. He could imagine a nice, rousing game of 'throw bad guys at cops', but he didn't think she meant it that literally, either. Still, seeing how vexed she was, he thought about offering that idea to her, too.
But he didn't want to make her explode. He shrugged.
The poor criminals did as they were told, ducking down and covering their heads as they were ordered. They were not about to do anything out of line: these two were clearly insane and were plotting terrible things to do to them. Just for knocking over one little store!
Maybe they'd have to rethink their occupation.
"Fine, fine," Chaonis said, waving his hands dismissively, "let's dangle them from street lamps like batman does." And hope the cops didn't take too long to find them.

The moment the criminals had their heads down in such a cowardly defensive manner, Iris' eyes had returned to the brunette. He had already sealed the deal with the manner in which he was smiling earlier.
There was no warning.
She pushed off from her spot, rushing towards him, fists balled up, easily making a swing to try and wipe that smug smile off of this c**k's face.
