 Survey Mission 3B
General debriefing: Children have been reported missing for a continuous span of two weeks recurring in *YOU CHOOSE A CITY/LOCATION*. Witnesses claim that they have seen them last at various attractions in the area, though their bodies have yet to be found. Dispose of whatever is kidnapping the children and rescue the children if possible.
* C class difficulty level (must have a team of three, at least one of them must be an intermediate trainee)MECHANICS * MECHANICS: RP assembling a team, as necessary, before heading towards the Lighthouse portal to request a portal to Survey Mission 3A. Once there, roll a 100-sided dice and match the roleplay to the results below, as well as any reactions. Players can continue rolling until any of the players roll a HALLOWEEN ENCOUNTER, in which case the BATTLE PHASE begins. See below for battle phase mechanics. 1- 20: You and your group have snuck into the theme park after hours, but you don't see anything out of the ordinary. 21 - 40: You notice that even though the rides and displays should have been turned off, there is the strange echo of music, and odd flickering lights from the corner of your eyes. 41 - 60: You stumble for a second, as if someone, one of your teammates have shoved you, but when you look around, you notice that there is noone else in sight. 61 - 80: You noticed engraved onto a display next to you an odd symbol, a strange spiral that rotates backwards in a hooked arc. 81- 100: BOSS ENCOUNTER: - In the darkness, it seems easier to spot the poltergeist, though its form occasionally flickers in and out. It realizes that your team is by far friendly, and begans to throw various objects at you. - BOSS MECHANICS: This boss has 50 HP. Every time you attack it (following the general battle rules), you TAKE 8 damage. Make sure to tally the boss's total HP (the damage you did to it) at the bottom of your post as well as your total HP and the damage you did that round. If the boss's HP hits 0, you have defeated it, and your team can now take the portal back. The poltergeist reveals at the very end that these children have already been taken.

Before was both excited and upset with this External Mission. On the one hand, he gets to go to LEGOLAND. On the other, kids were disappearing. At best, the kids just got lost. For like, a long time. At worst, it was a serial killer ***** work. At the VERY worst, it was like the worst-case only it wasn't a human doing the killing and kidnapping. He recalled how Tori was adamant in improving, which would mean undergoing more training and participating in more missions. But who else to bring? Before mused a bit then figured a certain female Moonie might want it (and no, it's not Julie. If it was Candyland then maybe he'd totes think about asking her to come with. Just 'cuz).chimarii Hey, Ami, this is Before. Iffin you wanna go on an external mission, RSVP and meet up at the lighthouse portals. naggeela Story! Story! New external mission? Ami had been heading down to the gym to train as it was, and when she got the text, she was both a little relieved and a little worried. Before had been that guy who'd totally kicked her a**. He looked all sweet and kind at first, but when he wielded that wheel, you did not want to be on the receiving side of it.
Still, he was asking her personally on a mission. It must've meant that he saw some potential in her, or perhaps even that he trusted her. Maybe he was just picking from a random list like she had done with Dakota earlier. Blech. She didn't have time to question Before's ulterior motives. All she wanted was an excuse to get out of training in the gym, and here it had arrived.Text to Before Okay, I'll be there soon.
"I'm not late, am I?" she said politely, stepping next to him. She didn't want to be too close, but didn't want to be too far either. This limbo was hard to balance.

It always seamed that when she was reading a good book that she would get a text of some kind and then she thought on it that she shouldn't be surprised at it now as if it never happened then she would have to worry. Putting the book down and looking at the text to see that it was from Before and she didn't mind at all as she loved hanging out and doing thing with him. Tori did get a little excited to see that he wanted her to go on another external mission with him and it was also sweet of him to help her get better too. Once the text had been sent, Tori grabbed the bag that was hanging off her chair as one didn't know what they might need on a mission as inside of it had various items inside and headed for the lighthouse portals. Walking quickly as she didn't want to keep Before waiting too long and got to the portal room to see Before there along with Ami as it was good to see her there too. "Hi, Before and Ami. Hopefully I didn't keep the both of you waiting too long," she said making sure her bag was secure.

Before waved grimly to the Moonie when she arrived, "Nah, just in time. Though we're still waiting for one mo- oh hey! There she is! Hiya Story!" he grinned to the Lifer. He was about to introduce them to each other when Tori greeted Ami. "Oh! You two have met before? And I don't mean me," oh god the pun "That's good! Here's the run down of what we gotta do for this mission." The Misty proceeded to explain the situation with the missing kids at this amusement park and that they probably wouldn't be investigating if it weren't FEAR-related. "Anyway, hope you two practiced combat training like you were Sunnies 'cuz if the last external mission Story and I were in was any indication, we might be in for a nasty surprise..."
And with that, Before went through the portal. He emerged on the other side, waiting for his teammates when he felt a shove and promptly fell flat on his face. "Heeeeeey, it ain't like I was crowding the-" he paused when he realized the two girls hadn't come through yet @n@!!!!!

Ami grimaced as she looked at the strange scene. Before was there, but that's not what her eyes were focused on. Though Tori hadn't quite made it through the tunnel (speaking of which, did he call her Story? Maybe it was an accident), Ami was already spending her time examining the area. There was an exit to her left, a stand to her right. She was making notes in case something attacked and they needed a place to hide.
Errr ... barricade. A place to barricade. She was a moon hunter after all!
She heard an odd tune coming from somewhere. Though all of the rides and lights were dark, the tune still drifted through the air lazily. Maybe it was just turned on in another part of the park. It was odd though ... the rest of the park didn't look lighted either.
"Do you guys hear that?" she said, her voice full of concern. A lightbulb flashed to her left, and her head quickly turned. Something wasn't quite right in this park.

Tori smiled at the both of them as she listened to what Before was saying about the mission and was said about the children as that type of thing should be happening to children in the first place. Quickly she followed them through the portal patting her bag to make sure she still had it with her. Once on the other side Tori did spot the other two not too far from were the portal had spitted her out. Looking around to make sure to get her bearings as this was her first time at an amusement park. Turning to Ami, “I don’t hear anything,” she replied as Aklin was telling her to be careful. But then something caught her eye as she looked at the display next to her. “Oh hell,” Tori said as she took a closer look at the engraved symbol and swore that it was the same that she had seen in the horsemen’s lair and took a few pictures of it with her phone. “I think that this marking is similar to the one that I have seen when we were in that horsemen lair and to the one we saw on the signs on my last external mission with you Before,” she stated and had to wonder if there might be something waiting for them.

Before strained to listen for whatever it was Ami was talking about. He did hear something faint, "Music?" he murmured. "Probably the park has some automated stuff and it's glitching a bit. Stick close guys," he instructed, "Wouldn't want any of us going missing here."
He began to take pictures of the markings when Tori pointed them out, "They totes look similar! We can get a better look from the info in the Life Computer databases." He motioned for Ami to come take a look.

Ami nodded at Before's confirmation that it was probably "nothing," but she couldn't help it. For some odd reason, the more she tried to ignore the music, the more apparent it became. That, combined with the flashing lights kept sending her looking over shoulder, almost paranoid now.
Before gestured to her, and she took a few steps towards him, only to see another light flash and distract her. Something definitely wasn't right here.
"Something ... isn't quite right. I'm going to try and ... stand guard while you guys do your thing." She couldn't help it if the entire amusement park seemed to scream at her with odd music and lights. She took a more defensive stance in front of the two, watching the carnival. "Tell me if anything happens though."

“That’s a good idea,” Tori replied as she hadn’t thought of that. Then she got to thinking that maybe they could find information about the mark but part of her thought that they might not have access to that information. Then she started to hear music in the distance, just like what Ami was talking about earlier and then in the corner of her eye saw the lights flickering. Something wasn’t right about this place. “Sound good to me. Also I just started to hear that music that you are hear too, Ami,” She replied making sure to stay close to the others. “Can do that, Ami” Tori replied as she looked around to see if she could find the source of the music.

Ami's guard was beginning to lower. Her glaive dropped a few inches, relaxing more into her position. She was still wary, just being lulled into relaxing by Before's questions.
"Me? No I went to a bug-infested farm with Cass and ... Syd," Just saying Syd's name annoyed her. "And I went to a haunted house with Dakota. That was interesting let me tell you." If being in a creepy haunted house next to an asylum with a perverted little teenager was "interesting." Blech.
She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and then turned to Tori and Before. "I'm assuming you have Before, but what about you Tori? Any missions?"

Sticking close as she kept on looking around as that stupid music and the flickering lights were just setting her nerves on end as she didn’t like it at all. Listening to what the both of them had said as she thought to her first External mission had been. “No this isn’t my first one at all, I when with Before and Sherry to Mexico looking for a missing couple, not much had happened, then one to a grave yard and then another one with Before and Bix,” she replied as it looked that they had all gone on a few of then. “So do any of you might want to guess what could have taken the children?”

"Haunted House?" The words left a bitter taste in Before's mouth. He was reminded too much of that time when Gale nearly died at the hands of those horrible Halloweeners. And then there was that disastrous encounter with Conan ;A; "I reeeeeeeaaaaaally hope the kids weren't taken by the Horsemen. "Horsemen?" she asked curiously, "What ... is a horseman?" Honestly, she was just picturing a man on a horse snatching up children. Though ... that in itself was pretty scary too.
The park was totally silent, and it was starting to creep her out. Lights kept flickering at the oddest times, music drifted into their area slowly. While Before looked at the odd marking, Ami had to focus on the area, securing that Before and Tori could do their work. She had to focus on the silence. It was unnerving.
The conversation was well-welcomed.
