Corlina awoke that morning, or night, whatever it was she couldn't tell. She hadn't seen the light of day in five years. She knew it had been five years because on the anniversary of her first day here, every single year, the new year would be rung it with a good beating. Corlina opened her eyes but she was greeted by the same sight she saw every morning when she woke up, stone...stone and bars that surrounded her, caged her, kept her here. She looked around, it was the same guard as last night, she looked back down and closed her eyes. She sat in her cell, no longer chilled by the metal shackles that were on her wrists, ankles, and neck, and connected to the wall. She was rather numb now but still she prayed everyday, prayed for whatever her sin was for it to be forgiven. She opened her eyes but just looked down, doing nothing...again. Her feathery blonde curls fell down her back and cascaded over her shoulders and onto her thighs which were almost white now as she had been deprived of sunlight. She was clothed in a dim grey slip, the one she had worn to bed the night she was taken, well that night it was blue, but from years of wear and tear, not to mention the dim to no light, you couldn't really tell it had been anything else but grey. After a year in this prison she remembered she had only been shackled to the wall by one ankle and was allowed to roam around in her cell, but recently she had been having nightmares and making a ruckus, so she was put back into all of the shackles. She looked at the guard then sank leaning against the wall, they all called her crazy so she had given up on conversing with them.

Corlina sat in her cell, over bound as usual for a weak girl her size. Shackles on her wrists, ankles, and neck weighed her down as usual; her long hair that was so fair that it was barely blonde anymore cascaded down her back and over her shoulders, and this time, unlike usual, her eyes were covered by a blindfold, they usually blindfolded her when the priest came, he had come yesterday, however they didn't take her blindfold off and when she protested they simply yelled at her and beat her again. She shifted slightly, her skin pale and almost grey from the lack of sunlight, and she heard the chains against the cold hard stone that encased her. She'd given up on trying to get anyone's attention anymore, they just called her crazy anyways....was she crazy? Was her perception of the world really altered? Her thoughts continued through her head, but she stayed silent.
A guard stood outside her cell as usual, she was the only cell on this floor, and several floors down was the entrance to the stair case that was guarded by two guards, it was light security, but who wanted to break into a jail, not to mention one of the most feared jails in all of France?

Aramis pushed along the small boat up the river and Raoul told them guards outside to open the gate, Aramis and Athos in cloaks, their faces covered. The guard opened it and Aramis pushed them along, the river streamed inside the Bastille and finally they came to the right corridor. Two guards stood at the base of a stair case, at the top was Corlina's cell. One stepped out,"Halt. State your business."

Raoul glanced to Aramis and Athos before stepping forward. "I am here to transport a prisoner, by order of the queen" He replied in a professional tone, looking at one guard than the other. A bead of sweat slid down the back of his neck as he hoped this wouldn't be too difficult.

The guard glanced back at the other, then back at Raoul,"Which prisoner? We haven't been informed of any kind of transport scheduled for today." He said. (shitty post for the plot)

Raoul sighed and crossed his arms, looking a bit impatient "The prisoner held on the top floor" He replied "I'm informing you of the transport and doing the transport as the queen wanted this done as soon as possible... But if you would like to delay an urgent order from the queen then by all means be my guest" He stared at the guards for a few moments "Now, may I pass?" He spoke confidently, but his heart was beating like a rabbit's.

Athos watched as his son took care of the situation as he looks at his surrounds seeing the situation as three guards walked up to them as well standing behind the original guard as he knew they were going to have a little of a hard time with this plan. He turned to his son looking at him knowing he was nervous as he sighed standing up knowing he was going have to fight as he stood up holding looking and waiting

The guard swallowed hard at the thought of the angry queen and her 'Shadow' and shivered,"Yes yes! go right ahead." He glanced at the two in the boat,"But just you." He said a bit more coldly, then stepped aside for Raoul to pass.
Upstairs Raoul told the guard about his encounter with the previous guard and the man nodded,"Alright," He handed Raoul some keys,"You do it though, I'm not going in there." He said with a sound of disgust for the 'crazy' prisoner.

Raoul internally sighed in relief. He turned back to Aramis and his father nodding and flashing a smirk before putting back on his serious face and heading up to Corlina's cell. He sighed and rolled his eyes as he unlocked the cell and stepped inside. He unlocked the girl's shackles and removed her blindfold, blinking as he stared at her face for a few moments. "Come with me, prisoner" he said dryly, though he smiled and winked at her while his back was turned to the guards.

Corlina's green eyes met his own almost instantly and it was like she'd seen sunlight for the first time in fifty years they were so striking,"..." She opened her mouth and her bottom lip trembled a bit. "I...where-" before she could get anything else out though the guard looked at him,"This must be your first transport kid." He said simply, then walked over and shackled her hands and feet,"you don't want them jumping out of the boat and swimming, this way she'll drown." He said then went back to his post even though there was no one to guard. Her eyes filled with fear and she silenced, following Raoul back down the stairs and getting into the boat.
And with that the guards waved them off and they were gone, disappearing into the night just as quickly as they had come. Corlina looked at them,"Excuse me....may I ask whats going on?" Aramis shook his head harshly,"Not yet. Remain silent." She nodded and looked down, when they got to their horses, Aramis got her out of her shackles and put her in a cloak and put her on a horse with Raoul until they got back to his estate where he sent her upstairs with some maids to get her cleaned up.
