Marcus was hitting critical on the bullshit meter again. Rep was pushing all his buttons and yes, he’d managed to bottle it up and hold it in but enough was enough. He was done. A text calling him out to the training ground. Telling him if he didn’t show he was ‘not a really man’. Insulting was not his strong suit but he was willing to bet the guy wouldn’t back down from any possible insult to his manhood.

Mostly what had set Marcus off was that even after their missions he was still being a bigoted a*****e. Even after he’d been told to cut that s**t out he just- Marcus was done playing nice.

It was time to shove his sword up someone’s a**.

If one thing worked without fail, it was threats against Rep's manliness status. As soon as he got the text, he glared at it coldly, setting his jaw. Not a man? Hah, he'd show them for even /implying/ that. They'd just picked a fight with the wrong guy. He remembered Marcus vaguely as the guy with the bandages, a guy he hadn't had time on the mission to properly get into insulting, interrupted as they all were by the force of personality that was Allan.

Still, he was confident as he sauntered to the training field. Not too fast though, concious of looking overeager, wanting to make him wait a little for the look of the thing.

He summoned Tracey before he entered the fields themselves, passing a few duelling hunters along the way until he spotted Marcus. Keeping up his infuriating swagger, he wandered over and smirked. "Sup? You sent me a text?"

Ah and there he appeared like a douchy dream. "If by text you mean challenge then yes. That was me Rep. Glad to see you're ready for a fight at least. Pulling the earring off calmly, Dis was telling him to fight yet ignore his anger, though, the weapon made no promises about what he'd encourage down the road.

Blade flashing blue, the moon trainee scowled. "I do hope you remember what I said I would do if you kept up that attitude of your's." Tapping the flat of the blade in his hand Marcus dashed forward slashing out. "If you kept it up, I'd shove my sword up your a** rep, and as far as I can tell you've not changed s**t."

Rep smirked lazily, still mentally sizing the other man up. He could never really tell these days whether someone would be a challenge or not and he was slowly learning, through a procession of beatings, that it might not be the best idea to try and figure the fight out before it started. "I'm /always/ ready for a fight." he crooned mockingly, hefting Tracey in his hands.

He wasn't expecting the swipe as it came and reeled back a lit in minor surprise, looking down where he'd been struck, laughing raucously "Ohohoo. You think so? I'd really ******** like to see you try mate. I'd like to see you /try/. You haven't changed either. You are still a ******** homo"

Again that twist of guilt at even /using/ that word. ******** hell Jordan, why did you have to make it so hard to say it?

He swung out with Tracey as hard as he could.

Lovely. Cocky a** was being a cocky a** and he really was tired of it. He wanted to get people to be pissed at him? Fair enough. "Always? Then I recommend you train and carry a knife with you to bed. The way you're headed-" He wouldn't last long if he made enemies." the shock from the weapon bit and he winced. Well done Rep, that was why you were probably in sun.

"And try straight. I am pretty sure when I woke up the woman in my arms was very very much a woman with very womanly parts. But hey, not my fault that you've probably never seen a woman naked aside from photos." As he swung out again, his scowl refused to leave his face. "And by the way, try a gay weapon. One that would love to get intimate with you."

No I wouldn't

Rep smirked. "Oh that's easy. I used to sleep with a knife back home too. I'm used to being popular. Other men are always ******** jealous of me." Granted, a knife would do nothing against Simon, but in his own mind he was scraping past as far as that particular issue was concerned.

His smirk faded however at Marcus' comment, replaced by a much colder and more feral sort of rage, barely suppressed as his grip on Tracey turned white knuckled and his stance rigid. "Not that it's any of your ******** business, but I've seen a ******** of naked women." He staggered almost off balance at the blow, his anger making him clumsy. Granted most of them had been whores but that was irrelevant. It still counted, even if you paid for them.

However it was the comment about his weapon that really kicked him over the edge. Rep had to deal with a very effeminate weapon, sure. But he never /hit/ on him. And the very idea of any guy, human or weaponised trying to hit on him pushed rage buttons he didn't even know he had.

He didn't even hesitate a moment, leaping forward with an incoherent /snarl/ as he made to do everything in his power to make that last comment never have happened, an almost panic seizing him as he did so, making his aim sloppier even than usual.

He was a piece of work, Rep. A genuine grade A d**k. "I doubt it was jealously so much as getting fed with your load of bullshit." The blow sent him back a bit, but not much, he'd managed to deflect part of it. Still, he was a sun trainee, Marcus was going to assume he was a heavy hitter.

"If it's none of my business who you ******** or have ********, what makes it okay for you to judge who I have or have not?" Marcus thought it was a pretty basic line of logic. Don't dish what you couldn't take. In his head, Dis was purring asking for few more 'nibbles'. And when he could get familiar with Rep.
Pulling back he aimed low, stabbing at the other man's torso.

"You insult, denounce, spew hate and bile- why the hell should I ever defend a guy like you?" How did he defend a guy who stood for s**t he loathed? "More importantly, do you ever consider that those same people you insult might save your life one day?"

Rep couldn't shake that /anger/. Raw seething visceral anger that was almost startling for him.

Rep didn't even tell Tracey to shut up this time, which was somehow for the angel, more sinister than when he did.

He reacted with surprising speed to the stab, actually leaping to evade it for once, keeping his eyes fixed on Marcus, he couldn't let the guy win now. Couldn't. He was determined.

"I don't need you to ******** defend me. I'm perfectly capable on my own. More than capable. And like I'll ever have to ******** rely on anyone like-"

For about the first time since he'd arrived on the island, something managed to shut Rep up. And it managed to single handedly throw his concentration to boot.

He swung at Marcus with a grunt, but his heart wasn't in the slash.

"Really? Then you didn't need Sandy? Barney? People who died to keep your sorry a** alive? Who ******** waited for everyone, putting their lives on the ******** line and DIED for an a*****e like you?" While Rep was angry about his own thoughts, Marcus was angry with the fact Rep was still spitting in the faces of those who would help him, those he would have to depend on. Those who had died and someday could very well die while he lived.

A step back from the weapon's blow and Marcus was hissing. "Wake the ******** up a*****e. You're nothing. You're s**t here. But if you can put aside your bigoted bullshit, stop your sexist dickery, then you might one day be worth saving." Another stab went at him, and he was glaring.

He glared coldly. "I /do/ need those people okay? Is that what you want to hear? I was just as ******** gutted as everyone ELSE when they died. I /liked/ Barney." He snarled. "There are ******** people I need, it doesn't mean I need to be a ******** touchy feely about it." He swiped Tracey at nothing as he continued.

"And I've already had that ******** lecture. Twice. I'm /working/ on it okay?" God it hurt to admit that he was actually trying to rein in some of his offensive nature. "Not very ******** WELL maybe, but trying."

<< OKAY I ******** KNOW >>

He felt the charge like a rush of the best drug there ever was as he let Tracey have free reign, let him guide his hand. "And its not easy you know." He laughed mirthlessly. "Its really not ******** easy when everyone is so ******** OFFENDABLE. And anger is so much /FUN/."

He charged forward, feeling as if the axe was light as air, off the other side of anger for just a few moments into some calmer, more controlled place.

And there it was- Sun hunter style heavy hitter. ******** sun hunters and their ability to just- augh. Getting up from the ground he spat out the blood from his mouth-he'd bit the inside of his cheek. "And you're not easily offended?" He laughed at that one. "All it took for you to come out was me questioning you manhood. You get riled when someone doubts you and you resort to anger and s**t." Dis spun in his hand as the weapon began to bleed blue.

"You might have gotten this speech twice but until you cut your s**t act, man up and admit you can't do everything and do in fact, suck a** like the rest of us, no one will be reaching out to save you." Bringing it up to his hand, Dis was purring in his head, begging him to do it.

If it had been anyone else, Marcus would have said no. But Marcus got the feeling words alone would not suffice. "Also keep in mind when I make a promise?" Spinning around Rep the blade suddenly found itself doing just what Marcus had said would happen. "I ******** keep it."

Rep smirked delightedly as his hit connected. There was nothing more satisfying than that rattle of contact along the handle as he landed a proper serious business blow. It almost lifted him out of his rage, it was hard to stay angry when it felt so damn good.

His self satisfaction though didn't last. He was about to make a snide little comment when he got hit by the most unexpected blow of his life. And ******** HARD.

He went absolutely reeling and landed rather painfully on his face, skidding a few feet before stopping, somehow uncoiling himself from the ground, muscles /screaming/, his hips informing him they'd be filing claims very soon. He cringed as he straightened up, giving Marcus a look of /absolute loathing/.

"You are such a ******** /p***k/." He snarled coldly.

Ignored.

"And so is your ******** weapon."

Worth it. For all of Dis's s**t, the face Rep made was worth it and he regret nothing. Smirking he flicked his blade in the air as if ridding it of blood. "Thank goodness for FEAR shield's right?" His smirk didn't fade even as Rep snarled at him. However the smirk faded back to his scowl soon enough. "Consider it a metaphor for what will happen if you keep being a sexist bigot."

Though the blade did not glow as brightly, the blue markings seemed to flicker in excitement as Marcus drew near. Dis really liked Rep. Mostly since he riled Marcus. And he got to get up close and personal with his a**. Dis was very happy with that, even as... physically undesired as it was.

"I am a p***k Rep. But I'm also able to put my s**t to the side when it comes to missions. When it comes to people on my team. But you? You've pushed me to the point that I am done dealing with your s**t." Bringing up his weapon he slashed into Rep's torso. Glaring at him. "You act like you don/t need help? Then you won't get help."

The red haired man laughed again, an action that seemed more directed inwardly than at anything else. Haha here he was losing again, haha here he was not learning any lessons. Still, the other man's threats were a stark reminder he probably still wasn't doing enough right. He was still picking enemies wherever he wanted.

He felt the fear shield shatter as he swung, wincing as it did so. Ironic really, just as he was grateful for the horrors the damn thing had just saved him from, it went away. He brought his hands up in the blade's wake as it sliced clear across his chest, drawing blood deep enough it startled the s**t out of him. He held up a hand and looked surprised at the blood on it.

The angel spoke up earnestly. He had to resist the urge to laugh once again. << The ******** you sorry for? I'm the one who can't ******** WIN a fight okay. >>

He turned his gaze on Marcus, shooting him an accusatory glare as he tried to stem the managable but insistent bleeding with his hands to really no avail. "You've made your point abundantly clear mate. I get it." He dropped the glare and gave him a very lazy smile. "If I did look for help, I wouldn't ******** find it on this island anyway. Everyone's got their own ******** agendas. Their own macho posturing. You won. I hope you find it as unsatisfying as everyone else who has beat me since I got here - and that's a lot of people - also did.

"Cause you know what? In the end? I won. I got you angry enough to want to fight me. I /enjoy/ this. That's all I wanted." he winked. "Its worth the not being able to sit down for a week for a ******** good spar. Good show and all that s**t."

And point was missed. "That Rep, is where you're dead ******** wrong. Which is really the saddest ******** thing." Desummoning his weapon, he sighed, scowl fading to apathy. "It's not about winning dipshit, and actually no, it was satisfying because I did get to vent but point is- this isn't about winning a fight. It's about telling you you're making dumbass choices and mistakes to the point that one day you will die when you could have lived and nobody will give a flying ******** a second, the moon trainee looked sad. "You're like my brother you know that?" A shake of his head and the moon trainee moved to walk back to the dorms. "Tomorrow, meet me in the dorms commons in the morning. I think you need to see something to understand why people are doing what they do." A glance back. "Consider an offer, not a command."
