Nyota smiled, "Well i used to pick by myself but then my daughter started to help, however today she wasn't feeling well." Thoughts poked in the back of her mind the more she thought of her daughter being sick, she had an idea about what she was ill with but that was something Sara must decided to tell when shes ready.
"How about yourself, why are you traveling and helping others? It seems like an odd task." Nyota said recalling on her previous statement. "I would imagine you would want to be spending time with someone you love." She said smiling, but the again the female was still young she might not have someone she loves. Nyota began to finish picking the leaves from what she saw fit, she didnt want to take them all, the plant still needed to live after all.
Yamile was sitting under a bush having hunted, eaten, and cleaned herself, she was now resting. Her life had been very busy as of late. It seemed she run into more and more felines she believed to be blessed or curse as the days went by. For a while now she hadn't met anyone who was just normal, someone whom she could offer help with a simple task.
She was almost asleep when she heard it, humming not to far off from her. Her head rose and she looked around but could only see a set of feet. "Hello," she called out in her soft tones, "who's there?"
Nyota's ears perked up. What was that? She hadnt even sensed some one in ther area. Not knowing where it had come she looked around but nothing came to her eyes. "Hello strange voice i'm Nyota." She said cheerfully going along with the voice. She wondered if this was another lions land, she hoped not she never intended to intrude.
"I'm just picking up some items." She said to assure that she meant no harm to anyone. She put what she had managed to grab in her sachel in case she was asked to leave.
Yamile came out from under the bush and gave a small smile. "I am Yamile, sorry if I startled you. I just hadn't expected to see anyone to see. I was falling asleep to be truthful."
She stretched and moved toward the other lioness, her long strides fluid and graceful, so unlike most other's. It was a practiced walk from childhood even it Yamile had always possess much grace. The walk was certainly natural now.
"What is it that you are picking?"
"Well my apologies, i didnt mean to wake you." She smiled. If she wanted to go to sleep Nyota would gladly leave her.
"Oh im picking some plants that i can used to treat injuries. Im the healer in my pride." She smiled noticing her graceful walk but she never really paid much attention to it.
"May i ask why is a young lady like yourself out here alone? It can get very dangerous when your alone." She wondered if she had a family out here somewhere.
"No need to appologize. I really shouldn't sleep so much anyway. I've been taking far too many naps lately." Yamile gave a small smile and sat beside Nyota. She listened to the other give her explanation and nodded, wondering about the pride for moment before she was asked a question.
Yamile blinked a bit surprised. but smiled again. "I've lived alone for a long time and thus far I have yet to encounter anything truly dangerous. I think I will be just fine. Currently I am traveling around helping other's who might need me."
She looked over the plants before them, "Maybe I could help you pick some plants so that you might finish more quickly. Afterall you are out alone yourself, are you not?"
"I would love your help, yes i am alone tonight." Sometime her daughter would go along with her Sara enjoyed mother daughter time but tonight she said she wasnt feeling well so Nyota left her, she hoped to pick up some berries that might help if she came across them but she made no promises.
"If you can grab me some that look like that that would be wonderful." She said holding up a leaf, she wasnt hesitant about putting the female to work so Nyota accepted although she was of course allowed to walk away at any time.
"Now you have a bit of company and a helping paw," said Yamile softly. She looked over the leaf that was shown to her and began to looked around for a match. It was a simple task and Yamile was happy to help.
"Are you usually alone when you look for these leaves, or do you usually have help?" She decided casual conversation would probably make the work go faster for both of them picking up as she found and picked up a leaf life the one she'd been shown.
"How about yourself, why is a yound lady such as yourself alone in the roguelands?" She was truely intrigued by the female her behavior was that of an elder female but her age would seem that of a young one, well younger then Nyota anyway.
Yamile smiled when the other talked about her daughter. Oddly it wasn't often she met someone with cubs of their own. Family sure, but not someone with cubs. "Oh I hope that she will be okay. It isn't anything serious is it?" She asked hoping that Nyota's daughter would be just fine.
Her fur tinged red when she talked about Yamile being with someone she loved. Yamile was all to certain that was in her future, only time would tell. Right now she knew she was doing what she was suppose to be doing. "I do not have someone that I love, outside of my family that is but we all move on in adulthood do we not. I travel helping other's because right now it is what I am destined to do. That may change, but for now I am content."
Nyota smiled, "Im sure she will be okay in time, her body that his, her emotions however im not sure." She smiled, she probably confused the female being so vague, but then again Nyota wasnt sure if what she thought ailed her daughter was actually what was wrong, tht was a mystery.
"Well im sure you will find someone a girl a pretty as yourself, that is destined also." She said with a smiled mimincking kindly they way the female spoke of her furtue. "I thank you for your help; it was very kind of you."
Yamile gave her a look when she talked about her daughter, she figured what the other thought was wrong with her daughter, but didn't say anything as she said she was sure. She silently wished the lioness good luck though.
"Thank you. Your words are kind. Perhaps you are correct. It may very well be destined." Yamile wondered breifly if she would be selfish to hope so and quickly pushed the thought from her head. Her happiness would be achieves when her past sin was atoned. Still she decided she very much like the female beside her.
"Really its no trouble," she said picking up a few more leaves and moving them to her small pile. "How many leaves are you going to need? I wouldn't want to gather more than was necessary, it would be greedy."
Nyota looked over her stash of herbs. "No i believe i have exactly enough, beside this never goes to waste as much as the guards are always rough housing." She laughed. Thank you for your help, it would have taken me much longer with out it." She said as she put the remaining leave in her satchel.
"I hope you dont mind but i should get back,im the only healer in my pride so for me to be gone long isnt a good thing." She felt horrible for having to leave the female so abruptly but she had a pride to heal.
Yamile nodded with a slight yawn once again feeling rather tired. "Sound like you are a very busy lady. I hope that you find more help one day, sound like you might need it."
Yamile stretched, "It was a pleasure to meet you. I don't want to be the one to keep you from your duties, so please attend to them. Maybe we will meet again someday, but for now I think I should finish my nap."
