User ImageAMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM

Name: Aleator "Ace" Amaana
Nicknames: Ace, Quickdraw, other lame lingos go here.
Gender: Male
Age: 15

Faction: Demon
Race: Avarice (Greed)

Natural Ability: Greed demons like to hoard. They have great money management skills and pickpocketing abilities. This of course is the old lore attached to Greed Demons - Ace is no different but he hoards a very specific kind of object that he has an affinity with: Playing cards. All sorts of playing cards. Playing cards are his calling... cards. Although he collects an hoards other small gambling trinkets, he has amassed an impressive collection of decks of every style. Ace keeps this paraphernalia in a pocket dimension that all demons of greed are 'blessed' with. It feeds his addiction no doubt but is delightfully convenient to have.

As he progresses at Amityville, Ace's pocket will grow in size until eventually he starts collecting greater 'treasures.'

Personality: Being raised in a wealthy home leaves a lasting stigma on Ace. While he's been taught manners and even put them to good use here and there, he's much more comfortable being the selfish brat he really is. That being said, Ace is also at times inappropriate towards anyone he's not immediately intimidated of, often playing the role of the peanut gallery.

*putting a note here for later, Ace is not sexually awkward or makes sexual gestures all that much er... any time any of that shows through you can bet its just me playing him wrong ROFL... uh.. but the point here is he's not sexually frustrated and doesn't really fret about that. (yet)

Brief History: Aleator Amaana grew up in the traditional demon household where all work and no play makes Jack Skellington a dull boil. His family sits on a mound of inheritance money dating back to days of the earliest greed demons. Though he's not related necessarily to all greed demons in Halloween, his family has a relatively wide-spread network where treasures and money seem to just absorb into as time progresses. There came a time when Aleator was introduced to the educational system in miniscule amounts. Mostly home-schooled in the ways of hoarding and keeping up finances, Aleator knew very little about the 'lower' classes, aka anyone not really a demon. At around the age of ten, Aleator began to take a strong interest in his father's poker night tournaments held in lavish demon lounges and even their own estate from time to time. Whenever he got the chance, as his dad was quite the enabler, Aleator would actually bring his little spoiled-brat-earnings to the game nights and legitimately bet with them. It was tough at first learning how to actually bluff your way into winning but eventually Aleator learned the game to enough extent to teach it to his other demon friends.

Needless to say he became addicted. For the next four years, Aleator, soon dubbed the nickname "Ace" by his friends, became a total card shark amongst teens. He never went back to playing with his dad since the younger the players, the easier it seemed to win. On the day of his 15th birthday, however, Ace received a bank statement from the local goblin-run crypt that sent him into a panic. He had been betting and spending so much on cards, treasures, and other gambling vices that he was starting to see a significant drop in his funds. Replenishing them would mean either 1, getting a job, gross, 2, asking daddy and risking his wrath, or 3, create a new investment. Neither of the prior options seemed viable to Ace so he looked into something that would eventually pay for itself.

Enter Amtiyville. The trials of the four clans had begun so timely to Ace's agenda that the school became a medium for his addiction... and possibly his solution to bankruptcy. After winning (and losing) some bets over the victors in the Trials, Ace decided that Amityville was full of enough suckers opportunities to make a decision about his investment. Because Amityville was one of the far more cheaper institutions, Ace was willing to suffer a lack of extravagances to get the bigger prize in the long run. And hopefully never have to consider schooling ever again.

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy?
Ace's problem has landed him in a sticky situation where he must decide whether to spend all his money on a high-end, very expensive demon school or settle for something cheaper that will allow him to continue exploiting his own addiction. Amityville seemed to be the right choice and after winning a couple bets on the poor suckers during the Trials of the Horsemen, in which he observed from his family's cozy estate. Getting the chance to con meet these students first hand would also help him re-build his ever dwindling, ever refilling bank account.

FEAR Ability: Using his most prized deck of cards, a set which he inherited from his great great great grandpa featuring some of the most famous scarers in Halloween history, Ace lays down his trap card. Ace pulls a card from his deck with rehearsed ease and uses them with 'demon enchantment' to attack with his FEAR.

At Y1: Gambler's Chance (Spades & Clubs)
When Ace lays down a card from the spades or clubs suit the card becomes enormous, sending clubs and spades flying from the print and hitting the target and himself in a frenzy.

At Y2: The Chill (Hearts & Diamonds)
Laying down a Hearts or Diamonds suit reacts almost the same as the Spades and Clubs visually but instead of impaling the target and himself will simply heal him or whomever he uses it on.

At Y3: The Mind (Joker)
Drawing the Joker will create a different effect from the specific suits, and can cause frustration for either the user or the target. Since there are (usually but not always) two jokers in a card deck, Ace has the chance to draw either the one that benefits him by distracting his opponent or the one that only aides them!

Physical Description:

Eye Colour:
Gold with changeable pupils (meaning he can be illustrated with slit pupils or not)
Hair Colour/Style: A very royal blue and sleek style. very geometric around his face and medium in length. Shouldn't really go past his shoulders any I don't think?
Skin Colour: Almost gold but gradients into a dark, dead blue at the ends of his hands, banded with gold and tipped with gold finger prints.
Clothing Style/Colours: Very regal demon attire but still very sharp. He doesn't do much flowing clothing but definitely high end threads. Suit should be dark blue almost black with a pale gold trim and striping.
Extra: His tail and horns are literally like gold, so they should be kinda shiny. His tail gradients from blue to gold at the tip which is spaded but more like the spade on a card. There's a sort of dark sapphire color flecking from his eyebrow and up his horns; up to artist interpretation. He has short pointed ears and generally wears an earring of a spade in each ear. He also has kinda pointy teeth.

Two cards on the table. The gnome looked at his single opponent and then at the thin deck in the middle of the table. Fifty-fifty odds. Winner takes all. He lookked at this hand again, counting the card. Time was running short, which ones had been played again? It seemed like a blur.

Tick tock. Numbers were beginning to blur. He was sweating. He had to make a move now.

"Do you have a..... six?"

A smirk from the opponent. "Go fish."

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
