Does anyone know if there's a site that gives like percentages on what other Christians believe. Like how many percent believe, by age group, that gay isn't a sin and other such beliefs. I really want to get to know what other Christians believe and if I'm just some odd ball out that takes mostly the principle beliefs and the core thing that makes me Christian, but has some unusual ideas. I don't know how else to put this.

I did find this, but I'm still looking for more.

If you believe Wiki... normally I don't, but maybe these 3 stats..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Societal_attitudes_towards_homosexuality.svg

America is 50/50 on the freedom of gay and lesbian relations as of 2007

According to the censes bureau, there was 2299,124,312 people living in the us as of 2005

Of which, 224,457,000 (85%) claim to be christian. as of the same time

http://christianity.about.com/od/denominations/p/christiantoday.htm

That help?

It's not just that, but things like "Do all Christians believe in only humans see each other again? We don't see our pets?" Or there are some that believe in reincarnation, i think (I don't, personally). The list goes on.

All dogs go to heaven (sorry for the pun... just got done watching it with my nephew): http://www.ourchurch.com/member/w/w_lasalle/

There is so many denominations, that I would be surprised if there isn't one, for anything you could think up.

Animals...

I WONDER IF A VEGAN LION IS A SINNER. LOL.

Sorry, but the idea of a Lion eating veges does seem like a son... Like how the Jews don't eat Pigs.

Why would that be deemed so? I mean grass helps a number of animals with stomach issues, are they sinners if they seek a remedy for a sore tummy?

if you answer don't expect a re, I don't want to take this off course

Hm, I was kind of joking... but really, what animals eat wouldn't ever be sinning because everything eats everything ultimately. carnivore eats an herbivore, herbivore carcass feeds the earth nutrition, that nutrition produces plant life like grass, grass is eaten by herbivore, herbivore is eaten by carnivore... the circle of life. And there is many other things in between... like insects and all that... But ultimately, everything goes around... So really, animals are probably sinless, because they just do what they meant to do. Unless Cannibalism is bad for animals?

Anyways, why do you need these percentages Darialan?

I guess it's kind of silly or presumptuous, but I always assume that most people who label themselves Christian are the kind like my parents. Basically ....right wing? Is that the term? You know, always go to church as you can, don't cuss, don't believe in homosexuality, deny evolution altogether, no sex before marriage, abortion is a sin, don't live with your gf/bf untill you marry, etc.

Yeah that's the stereotype and you have 30+ years of Pat Robinson, 700 Club, and all of his little off-shoot broadcasting popularizing and making that stereotype the norm.

Hm... I am strongly against Abortion... not because it is or isn't a sin... it just seems so disgusting... morally wrong... destruction of life... motherhood... parenthood...

Other then that... I am definitely not cliche.
