The only person Arika really cares for is her brother; the only person she would value almost as much as herself. She would risk her life for her brother, but she has never been in a situation where she has had to make the choice of dying for him, so even she doesn't know if she would or not.
Bio: Nikolai and Arika Kain are the twin children of a well-known politician (father) and a soldier (mother) of the Bastion. Arika and her brother Nikolai both entered into the Bastion military at the same time, around the age of seventeen. The two of them started off as officers, but not at the very top. The squads they commanded thought they were just some rich kids who didn't know what they were doing and were just promoted to a high rank because of their father's position before he had died. The soldiers underestimated the twins. The pair was exceptionally good at commanding the troops and strategizing. Not to mention their fighting skills. Their aspirations soon caught up with them and they decided they wanted more than just what they had within the Bastion. They wanted the whole package... to command the entire military and country. As such, the twins had one of the old leaders of the Bastion killed so they could take over. That is how they got into power and have maintained their position for the past two years as generals.

Personality: Nikolai is the more calm and collected type of person. Sure, he is calmer than his sister, but in a way, he is more dangerous than her in that respect. He is cold, heartless, and will not hesitate to look down upon someone. He is the type of person who is ready to jump on someone if he felt the need for a challenge, if he was bored, or he felt like his authority was being undermined. Some would say that Nikolai is borderline psychopathic as well. When he is angry or is in a battle, he will become more bloodthirsty and manic.
The only person that Nikolai can attest to any form of trust is his sister, Arkia. Though it is debatable as to how far he will go to sacrifice himself for her if the situation arises. Quiet and reserved a lot of the time, Nikolai never manages to lose his temper. He's mostly cool-headed, and when not killing people, he's calm and normally soft spoken yet firm. All this is so, even though he doesn't really talk all that much. Nikolai’s quirk is that he loves to fight and kill his enemies. Nikolai is the type of person to side with who ever is going to win in the long run and that's usually himself.

Personality: Alastor is a down to earth kind of man. A general at his post he knows how to separate business and pleasure, on the job there is no room for error in his subordinates, he expects the best out of the people who work for him and will tolerate nothing less. He’s a smart man, crafty, devious someone who will charm you then the next minute he’ll be the enemy. He’s willing to make the tough calls that others aren’t he didn’t get to his position by being nice and sympathetic.
Bio: Where to begin. As time goes by I care less and less I suppose about where I was before this situation. I awoke from a pod six years ago, yes I said pod. I am a Cryo Soldier, one of the heralds of the human race, the so called last hope. What incredible irony. Regardless after waking up from my cryo stasis I found myself in a world devoid of life, or so it appeared. I walked and walked using the mapping systems that I managed to salvage from my pod, of course all the landscaping and cities had been drastically altered, the world I had once knew was gone. The people that I did run into were feral little more than hairless irradiated monkeys a bullet to the head fixed that. After traveling I found myself surrounded in a dark city, with no clear path, the crooked buildings and windswept scenery made me realize the world I was in. It was there that Bastion uncovered me from my lamenting. They gave me an ultimatum, one I knew all to well, join them, or die. You can guess my answer. My natural skill and overall prowess as a Cryo soldier gave me an edge over the typical soldiers and after three years I was assigned the rank of general. Now I stand at the top of command with two other generals, and in my opinion Bastion has never seen better leadership.

Personality: Farra is a survivor, putting herself first often more than others. She may be in an organization but she knows that at the end of the day, she's her number one priority. If the situation arrises she would turn to any side that was in power. She's a persuasive person, making the most blatant lies seem as if they were the God honest truth. Nothing comes to shock the young woman so killing and any other forms of torture doesn't phase her in the least.
Bio: Farra can't remember too far back into her childhood, she just remembers the day The Bastion came to her and took her in, clothing her and feeding her, it was way better than trying to survive in the wastelands alone. As she grew in age, they began to train her mentally, showing her the most gruesome videos, dealing with death, murders, etc. They were training her mentally to become a cold blooded soldier and the techniques were working. They began to expose her to inhumane conditioning techniques, depriving her of sleep for days on end, leaving her in rooms with unbearable temperatures, and training her body to become a weapon within itself. It was on her 23rd birthday when training had been done and she was actually sent to do field work.
