It was time. Clerise was dressed about as decently as she could manage. Jeans without any holes, a clinging turtleneck with some obnoxious logo on it...and...her combat boots... Whatever. CLOSE ENOUGH, OKAY? DON'T JUDGE HER. GOOD ENOUGH. She didn't have any of her goddamned money yet, and had yet to leave the island for a reason that wasn't related to a mission. Which was changing today, if Reine didn't flake out. It didn't seem like a very Reine thing to do-- flake out, that is-- so Clerise wasn't thaaat worried. Getting out her phone, she set about texting at the snail's pace that was, slowly but surely, getting faster over time. She was up to grandma speeds, now! First, the one to Brat: nyxtsuki moon hey brat!! yeah not about your age remember, ok? ok. you ready for the ******** date? get your s**t together b/c were gonna make this happen. lets go celebrate your promotion or whatevs. portal @ 14.30 betch. Excellent. Now the one to the Starchild herself. dansehexe hey starchild! you better be ******** ready for our hot date tonight, k? k. ps i maybe invited dakota pps i didnt tell him you were coming. surprise! AHHAHAHAh gonna be fan ******** tastic you better show up still. i know where your room is. i asked around. HAHA.

Dakota blinked as he finished his reps for his workout. His phone gave off a loud shrill of Ok Go, A million ways. Blinking again, he wondered what Clerise, his life buddy and one hot piece of a** would want in the middle of the day.
As he flipped open the phone, he scowled at the first word before laughing to himself, would be odd in the real human world but you know......Not in dues. People laughing to themselves...yeah totally normal.
Chama chimed in with a happy tone. Usually his phoenix was more crass and demanding, today she seemed- Uh...was all Dakota could say before shrugging.
He changed from his workout clothes to a nice pair of black slacks and a slate grey turtleneck. His usual bandana was put away and he ran a hair through his messy black hair, in some way, making him look dangerously good...sorta.
After debating it, he added his hunter jacket and Chama underneath before sighing. and how did she know about his promotion coming up? The girl was a creeper what?ILU 5 EVR Text to Clerise: Yeah yeah, Your pet name for me? What up Cougar? You want to get down and dirty now? :'D??? And damn, I like a forceful woman, Don't worry, I'll be at the gate. Don't forget your whips and chains Babe. Peace out.

Someone used to text messages from Robert might still have a bit of trouble with text messages from Clerise, and one had to take into account the fact that it was virtually impossible to get used to text messages from Robert, firstly because he did not make much sense, and secondly because autocorrect really did not help very much.
When Reine finally deciphered the text from Clerise, though, her first reaction was to glare at her phone, snapping it shut. Fine, a date, fine, that she could deal with, because she had lost that stupid fight, fine, if Clerise wanted to two-time her and Dakota, fine, she could deal with that, and fine, she would go meet the two of them at that portal.
Despite all that, Reine was most decidedly not fine, and she was determined not to dress up for the occasion. The shorts she'd taken to wearing would be fine, especially if Dakota was going to be around, no, maybe she'd wear jeans instead. Yes. Jeans sounded good, with a nice t-shirt, one that covered her up.
For the first time ever, Reine took her time strolling towards the portals.

Dakota was obviously first to the portal. It could be to eagerness to being in the outside world, it could be due to the fact that he was going with Clerise, a woman he quickly decided he liked. Not like Reine liked cause you know, you wanna get the girl you gotta be FAITHFUL but you know like....Liked her.
There was nothing special...was there?
He heard the tone go off before laughing at the portal.ILU 5 EVR Text to Clerise:What!?!? This means I can't be your little Cougar cub! That hurts :'(. I'm here where r u? I didn't think it would take that long to get the spandex or latex or leather on either. Oh you buying dinner? Clerise was running late to the portal, thanks to her furious texting to Reine: danse-hexe oh my god starchild that better mean youre coming so help me goddddddddd Before getting her last minute details taken care of, the redhead threw Balthazar in her windbreaker's pocket, wrapping his chain between her fingers. Then, she replied back to Dakota: Nyxtsuki Moon oh baby you can be my little something something anyway HAHAHAHAA. gimme a ******** minute im on my way had to remind reine she owed me~ After a few moments of silence, she sent another: Nyxtsuki Moon did you just ******** call me boo you gigantic nnnnnneeerrrrrddddd im taking your word on that mistah moneybags She jogged up to the portal, flinging an arm lazily around his shoulders. "Guess who's coming with us, brat!"

'Who' appeared a little while later, hands stuck in her pocket as she walked towards them. 'Who' was, apparently, trying to look as if she really didn't care and really didn't want to be here. In fact, 'Who' barely even acknowledged the two of them, simply eyeing Clerise suspiciously and a little reluctantly.
It was a while more before she finally spoke up.
"So where are we headed?"

Dakota blinked at the end of Clerise's text...Reine was coming?ILU 5 EVR Text to Clerise: WTF MAN, YOU DIDN'T MENTION REINE,. Dammit Clerise... "R..Reine..." He threw any hands and or touching up (in a silent I'm not flirting with Clerise okay get off me) before tucking his hands in his pocket and sending a look to Clerise. "Where ever you two want? I'll be paying for it so....your heart's content." He sighed. 4000$ down the hole? Its okay.

"HAhhaha, SURPRISE." She cackled wildly as Reine approached, giving Dakota a noogie.
"Weeee are going to a mall or something. I dunno." She flashed a grin at the white haired girl. "In no order: liquor store, underwear shopping, food. The booze run can be fast, I just...want a stash. I have my old ID or whatever, so we should be ffffineee~"

The other two received a blank stare as Reine took a few steps back. Liquor store? Underwear? Wh...at? She was fine if Clerise and Dakota wanted to drink, though she had no interest in the stuff, really, but.. underwear? Seriously? With Dakota tagging along? As if it wasn't enough that he'd seen her underwear before, what, was he now intending on somehow being part of the underwear picking process?
And she'd thought he'd improved, even if slightly, she thought he'd been at least trying to be decent, and now he was pulling this crap. Not to mention dragged Clerise into it somehow, as if having another girl around made everything better. Narrowing her eyes, Reine glared at Dakota, daring him to just try anything. I'll be paying for it, he'd said, but that just... it just made her feel so violated, she thought she might even actually be sick on the spot.
"I don't need your money," she retorted coldly, pointedly taking a few more steps back. At this point she was almost considering faking a stomachache, but then again, this was a rare visit to the outside world, one that didn't involve a mission... and there were things she actually wanted to buy. Gifts for Evie and Otto, maybe, and also.. Justin. He could use a dictionary.
Maybe she could lose them, yeah, that sounded good. She just needed to meet them back at the portal to get back, right? A plan was already formulating in her mind..

Dakota blinked at Clerise, and then to Reine and then back to Clerise and like...
"I had no idea your list was so extensive Clerise." He rubbed his face, "I don't think I'll join you in the underwear store seeing as the last time I had a encounter with it, I ended up in the hospital bed."
He sighed sadly. Reine was GLARING AT HIM. He stared back at her.
"What?" He blinked again before reaching out to take her hand to stop her, "I was saying that I was going to buy dinner or something, I didn't know we were going to go on a booze run or to the...underwear...store. Okay." He sighed before dropping his hand. "Why are you so upset over it?"
"Whatever, let's go and get this done...." Reine was upset with him, dammit. And Clerise....He couldn't really be mad at her for being Clerise after all. He floated back to her with a hushed, "You better get me some damn pictures or this trip is not worth going....especially since Reine looks like she wants to ditch us the minute we get there..."

"Don't look so down, starshine!" Clerise exclaimed, grabbing her by the shoulders and delivering a noogie.
"Suit yourself-- I haven't received my first paycheck yet," she said with a pout, wishing she could shank the guys holding it hostage from her. "I'm used to freedom, okay?!" The redhead moved to noogie Dakota as well, standing up on her toes to make sure he couldn't get away. "We can go do normal stuff at the mall, like go look at puppies, if that'd make you feel better!"
Everyone liked puppies, right? "Or kittens?" Clerise glanced sidelong at Reine, expression hopeful.
They proceeded through the portal, dumping them outside a nice, giant mall, and Clerise led them through the doors, scanning the entrance. Aha! One of those giant map things!
As Dakota demanded...leverage, she squinted at him, suspicious. "Ahuh. Listen, brat, I am not taking pictures of Reine in scanty clothing, you know." A smirk. "If you want some of me, you'll need to earn it."

Oh oh oh, plus ten points to bring Dakota to an even zero. Maybe she should have given him a bit of credit after all for the improvement he'd shown since the whole skirt flipping incident, considering how sometimes he seemed so genuinely intent on changing for the better. She smirked at him- the closest he'd get to an actual smile from her- glad that he knew his place.
Dinner actually sounded better than booze and underwear, maybe she'd add one more point to Dakota's tally. Reine would have pegged Clerise as the one she'd have more fun around, because they were both girls and maybe they had similar interests, but Dakota was proving her wrong, just a little. Hopefully he didn't have one of those awful candlelight dinner things in mind; just somewhere cosy, a diner of sorts, not too fancy.
It wasn't like any of them were dressed for it, anyway, they--
-- With an indignant squeak Reine shoved Clerise away, surprised by the sudden noogie; thankfully she moved to Dakota instead of trying again. It actually made her laugh a little- relax, she thought. You're around friends, now, not monsters, and it's been so long since you got to, well, 'hang out'. Be normal. Maybe today wasn't going to be that bad after all.
"I do like pup--"
But they were gone through the portal, before she could finish her sentence. Reine sulked a little, shuffling her feet as she followed after them- bit by bit, though, as the atmosphere got to her, she found herself getting more and more excited. She studied the map, almost completely absorbed in it as she plotted out their route, trying to ignore the words 'Reine' and 'scanty clothing' in the same sentence.

Dakota had been in fact contemplating the idea that a more secluded if not romantic dinner would be nice for the two ladies. Also considered a place that had candles and a little waiter dude that would come by every twenty seconds to see if they needed more cheese or something.
Somehow though, he didn't think he was dressed for that and considering polite company...(clerise)...They might want something more casual.
He waited for Reine to appear from the portal before stretching. Following Clerise and Reine to the map and looking around. It was well lit and different....and it had been a long time indeed. A very long time.
"Well I think I heard Reine say she liked-" He flushed at Clerise before lowering his voice, "Not even one of Reine?" He sighed sadly and raked her over, "Well I am paying for everything you know...." He frowned before looking over the map.
Oh hey a video game Arcade...the clothing shop, food court, some outlying restaurants for the mall, er....Were Mall's always this big? Just which one had they come from?
"Where do you want to go first Reine? Clerise?" He looked to the girls.

Clerise was PLENTY of fun to be around! Probably! ...Maybe! She couldn't contain a grin as Reine squeaked from the noogie, skipping ahead as soon as they were through the portal. Turning around, the redhead easily skipped backwards in front of the duo, then around them, SO ******** EXCITED to be out of Deus and NOT on a mission. Then, at the map, Dakota was demanding pictures. She poked him right in the side, blowing a raspberry at him. "Well, deal with it." Clerise offered him a feral smile as he poured over the map. "She's way out of your league, broski." She offered him a pat on the a**. "Just sayin'." The redhead skipped back over to where her fellow Life hunter was, grabbing her by the hand. All she had to say before hauling her off at an astonishing pace? "To the puppies."
