Location: Striation City (Unova)

After his first encounters with other gijinkas he felt fairly confident wandering out into the city on his own and peering around at all the sights it had to offer. Thankfully for him he looked fairly normal, just will a bit of a strange haircut as some older gentleman had mentioned, all the while giving him a puzzled look. However Henry didn't let strange looks deter him from enjoying himself, even when it was in front of tons of people, all milling about as he hopped onto the edge of a fountain, arms extended outwards as he walked along it, smiling and humming.

There were fish in the water, he noticed, causing him to peer down curiously, his eyes alight with delight as he stared at their glistening scales and the shimmer of the water in the afternoon sun. However he caught the scent of something sweet and tilted his head, peering at a street vendor owlishly before smiling a little sadly and shoving his hands in his pockets. It was too bad that he didn't really have any money... Or a place to sleep or anything, but he knew he'd get by for the moment. After all he was sure that there were places where he could get hired to do some form of work so he could maybe get a small place to live... Hopefully.

Shaking his head the Joltik hopped down from the fountain and instead made his way towards the grassier area surrounding the fountain, peering out at the city and its residents. Since he'd traveled here he'd felt fairly welcome amongst the town's people, all of which smiled and waved to him now for the most part. He was certain that many of them were uncertain as to how to deal with them as many of them thought he was a child; Henry was small due to being a Joltik, despite the fact that he was an adult.

After a moment of observing he turned and moved to head back towards the fountain to stare at the fish some more... Only to trip over a rock and help, tumbling head over heels down towards the fountain. Unfortunately he only stopped when he ran into something that he identified as being human, though he couldn't do much since he was currently dizzy, disoriented, and, well, he didn't want to end up talking to their shoe. Finally he lifted his head, blinking rapidly before flushing at the stranger who he'd rammed rather ungracefully into.

"O-Oh! S'-s-sorry! I tripped... I'm so clumsy..." he blurted, hoping they weren't angry with him; oh, he was a terrible Joltik...

What was Ruaidhrí even doing this far into the city? He was internally wringing his hands, and putting on a brave face. Maybe he could find something to do, or somewhere to stay? Life had been a little strange, given his experiences at the Lab, his history in the cave, and now wandering out into the world alone. He hadn't really had any friends from his life before, anyway, so it wasn't as though he particularly missed anyone. Still, he was doing better than he had been in the past; he'd already made one friend, at least. Muirín was pretty nice to him.

Rua reached one hand up and played idly with the end of his bright hair, his piercings catching in the light. Unlike some pokemon who had accepted Musharna's offer to become humanoid, his features were impossible to hide: one heavy, if useless wing-like adornment and a partial halo that hovered above his head. He also dressed particularly strangely: his armour was natural to him, but not quite so to the modern wardrobe, apparently. It didn't help that it was in varying states of disrepair, as if he'd walked right out of a tomb.

Well, he basically had. In a poetic sense.

The reason he had to come into the city, yet again, was to make some money doing odd jobs. He was strong, for the most part, even if he had a bit of an achilles heel; when it was necessary, he could make some money out here. Apart from that, he lived in the wild, like some kind of perma-camper. It wasn't the best of lifestyle choices, but he had yet to figure out how to integrate himself into the city in the first place. At least doing physical labour for a day left him with some pocketable coin.

After a long day trudging around the city, Ruaidhrí was about to slump down onto the fountain with a couple dumplings in hand, about to call it quits. On his way, however, he collided headfirst with what appeared to be a very.. yellow thing. Automatically, he reached his free hand up to brace the stranger, making sure he didn't fall. "N-no, I just hope you...um."

Rua was not eloquent when it came to situations like this. He stood there, blushing, trying not to say something really stupid, and equally trying not to run away screaming. "I hope you didn't bruise yourself on my armour, is what I was trying to say."

Rua tried to smile at him, whatever he was-- his hair, was that a feature just like his own features marked him as a pokemon? "I'm Ruaidhrí," he finally added. Long, flustered pause. Suddenly, he remembered he'd raised an arm to hold the other up and make sure he didn't fall.. but had never removed it. Flustered even worse, he took a little step away and let his arm drop, to look at the stranger better. His bells rang as he moved, the translucent cloth fluttering from even the smallest motion. "Do you like dumplings?"

Henry blinked owlishly up at the man that he had run into, blue eyes taking in his halo, his red hair, the strange wing-like item, his eyes. Even as the other man spoke his eyes were widening a little and his lips were beginning to curve in a brilliant smile, his entire form practically brimming with excitement. Biting his lower lip and looking suddenly shy Henry quickly shook his head, one foot lifting a little to kick at the ground, his hands slipping behind his back to clasp one another.

"N-No... I'm not hurt at all! I'm just really glad you're not either! I can be so clumsy." he murmured, smiling brightly again. "Ruaidhrí... My name is Henry!"

When Henry looked at Rua, he felt so plain and unremarkable in comparison. His jacket was so plain compared to the soft, wispy fabric, the armor, the other man's brilliantly red hair. In all honesty the Joltik couldn't remember the last time he saw someone quite so pretty, quite so... Elegant he supposed was the word for it. Then again Henry had to admit that he really hadn't been around all that much since he had lost his original home so maybe there were other pretty Pokemon out there as well.

In response to the offer of dumplings Henry's stomach gave a loud rumble, causing him to flush and look down, clasping his hands over his traitorous belly. His antennae poofed up a little and sparked ever so slightly in surprise and embarrassment before he glanced back up at the other man, looking sheepish. He supposed that there were worse things to admit to than being hungry but... He was trying to be good and to find a job and not beg for money or food, but it was hard.

"I... I love dumplings!" he answered, biting his lip, antennae drooping. "B-but you don't need to give me food. I-I mean... I should be getting my own food..."
