Big Question: What kind of fashion sense does your character have?
Explanation:
As an artist that likes to draw other people's characters, it'd be a nice idea to know what kind of fashion sense the other party has rather than guessing from the given picture our having to use the same clothes over and over again.
Yes and Strawberry gave me the idea when she asked about what kind of clothes Cheese's character wore and the answer caught us off guard.
So....!
The point of this thread is for people to explain what kind of fashion sense their characters have! That way the artists of the guild can have an easier time designing clothes for other people's characters without having to go to the trouble of asking!
Also, it's just fun to describe character's fashion sense.
NOTE: Please do not quote anyone here for a comment. People might want to look through here and it'll be hard to look through comments. If you want to comment about something here, please take it to the random chitchat thread.

How fashionable is she?
Renivere is actually pretty conscious of fashion and tries to stay on top of it.
What kinds of clothes does she often wear?
Renivere loves long skirts and doesn't like to show off too much skin unless it was summer and you'd have to be a real idiot to wear long sleeves outside. She also likes to wear colorful clothes, but not so bright that it irritates the eyes. She prefers soft colors. Also, flowers patterns are always her favorite. She likes to have buttons on her clothes as well, but it's not something that she has to have all the time. Since fashionable long skirts are hard to find, she will wear knee-lengthed skirts.
Any clothes that she avoids?
Shorts. Renivere absolutely dislikes shorts. She will wear a miniskirt, but will probably wear tights underneath. She doesn't like to show off her bare legs that much. She also doesn't like to wear jeans because she finds women's jeans too tight and constricting.
Does she do anything with her hair?"
She usually likes to keep her hair down with the occasional braids at the side like in the picture being used right now. She will never do anything with all her hair because it's too much of a hassle for her.
What about jewelry?
Small trinkets are fine with Renivere such as glass beads and handmade jewelry, but she has a strong dislike for super sparkly and heavy jewelry because they scare her. It's a shame since Sethrian likes to wear jewelry and she will soon notice that he likes them and will soon find a way to come to terms with it for the sake of their love.
What about make-up?
She is absolutely terrified of it and won't touch it at all.

He wears some pretty plain clothes under that "Kiss the Cook" apron. Probably just button-up shirts with boring patterns and either jeans or slacks, depending on his mood. *totally copypasted*

Normally, he likes plaid patterns. He usually wears sweater vests, skinny jeans, nice coats, designer shirts, whatever trends pop up, and is pretty versatile when it comes to his clothing selection. He has a few earrings as well and wears them every once in a while. But, if he's trying to embarrass someone, then he goes for shameless booty shorts and tank tops of various colors and such. ... So, basically, he either tries to look like a rich b***h or a walking embarrassment to anyone nearby. He has fun with it though. XD

Anything and everything. Seriously, he wore tights and frills to school a few weeks ago. The only time he would wear something 'normal' was if the character he was portraying wore average clothes or occasionally when he gets lazy on the weekends.

 How fashionable is he?Honestly, he really just does his own thing fashion-wise. He doesn't care much about the latest trends and things. What kinds of clothes does he often wear?To school, Sethrian usually wears slacks, button up shirts and a vest of some kind. He also wears an assortment of decorative belts, and loads of jewelry (both ears are also pierced multiple times. He tends to favor black and red, but also wears dark blue frequently. When dressed casually, outside of school, Seth will wear jeans and long sleeved t-shirts or turtlenecks. He tends toward more subdued colors for the most part. Any clothes he avoids?I really can't picture him in shorts. o.O; He also wouldn't wear tanks or anything that would show off his shoulders or portions of his back since he's really self conscious about his scales. Garish colors and prints are also something he avoids. He doesn't really like standing out. Does he do anything with his hair?Well, his hair is kind of curly and messy no matter what he tries to do with it... What about jewelry? Lots. Usually gold hoops and studs in his ears, several necklaces and an assortment of bracelets.

How fashionable is she?
Vivian will deny that she cares, but she actually really cares and is probably one of the few happinesses in her immortal life. She has long gotten over the fact that she will never be able to move over kiddie fashion. However if someone insults her fashion sense, she won't care at all because she is so arrogant about it that she believes that whoever insulted her just doesn't have decent eyes.
What kinds of clothes does she often wear?
Vivian likes anything that looks good and comfortable to wear. She will wear shorts, miniskirts, and dresses. She never wears anything too fancy and likes to keep a casual touch. Occasionally she'll try to break away from kiddie fashion and wear heels or something that looks older that can actually fit her. As fashion always changes, Vivian never really gets bored of it and will go with whatever the trend is at the moment.
Any clothes that she avoids?
Usually just jeans or anything so tight fitting that it restricts her movement, but she likes to experiment with fashion.
Does she do anything with her hair?"
She can't due much with her hair as it is permanently short, but she will occasionally pin back her hair or wear ribbons if she wanted to.
What about jewelry?
Nope. Too much of a hassle. She will wear a bracelet or a necklace, but they're never expensive and are always the cheap cute stuff. She can't keep jewelry and keeps losing them.
What about make-up?
Sometimes she does, sometimes she doesn't, but usually she's too lazy for it so often times, no.

 Gray dresses like the pirate and gypsy section of a costume store simultaneously threw up on him. The end. (Seriously, he does wear normal clothes if the situation calls for it. He actually tends to only wear his hair up when he's working. If he's not doing something where it's in his way, he wears it down.)

Pfffffffffffffffft. None. At all.
What kinds of clothes does she often wear?
As stated in her profile, Xochiquetzal normally wears something light and easy - usually, robes because they make her feel goddess-y. They tend to have a lot of intricate designs and patterns - usually, depicting some kind of myth and/or a random deity she feels a certain 'affinity' with that day. She doesn't wear shoes ( except for galoshes now 8D ), but, with everything but her feet, she tends to be excessively conservative. Heck, even her bathing suit would cover every inch of her - she'd probably own a burqini or something like that.
Any clothes that she avoids?
Stockings and shoes - she absolutely loathes them. Her feet are a little on the large size considering height and, thus, her mother's hand me downs were always a bit tight on her, so she learned to grow a distaste for them. As far as stockings go, she finds them itchy and uncomfortable. Outside of that, she dislikes anything that shows above her ankles or wrists.
Does she do anything with her hair?"
As much as she can! Which isn't much, really; Xochiquetzal has a grand amount of ribbons and beads to tie into her hair, but every attempt she makes to use them tends to be only half done. In fact, most of her hair-ties fall out before she even leaves her room - or on her walk to school, so it usually ends up remaining down and undone for the remainder of the day. Not to mention, she curls up and attempts to sleep anywhere she can, so it's likely tangled and askew regardless.
What about jewelry?
She LOVES it. The flashier and brighter, the better, in her opinion. When she had her jewelry on hand, she used to go out wearing as many necklaces and as big of earrings as she could find - large feathers, oversized gems, and whatnot. Ah, but it does have to be real or else she won't touch it. She has a dislike and claimed allergy for cheap jewelry.
What about make-up?
Hardly bothers. It takes too much coordination and time to do it - unless she's preparing for a ritual, she won't put anything on her face.

How fashionable is she?
Susan is quite fashionable for a child who was locked up for her entire childhood.
What kinds of clothes does she often wear?
Due to her Japanese ancestory and culture she is often found wearing kimono style dresses, she always wears a purple band around her waist, as it is her favourite colour.
Any clothes that she avoids?
Clothing that isn't a kimono, Susan only likes to wear kimono style dresses.
Does she do anything with her hair?
She never has her hair up, her hair is always out but it is gracefully styled.
What about jewelry?
Susan wears a necklace that has been passed on from her grandmother, mother and to her. The oldest daughter of every generation receives the necklace.
What about make-up?
She powders her face with light coloured powder, wears black eyeliner on her top lid, mascara and pink lipstick, like the geisha's in Japan.

 Silveril How fashionable is he?
He's not one for change and he's used to the clothes he wears back at home. Back in his home area, his clothes are acceptable.
What kinds of clothes does he often wear?
"Old man clothes." He usually dresses semi-formal whenever he goes out. His colors are only black, gray, and white and he always wears collared, button up shirts. He likes vests a lot and it often looks like he wears the same thing every day, but the vests are actually different form each other in small ways such as different designs on the vests or different look buttons. He only ever wears slacks or dress pants.
When he's at home, he only wears collared shirts and slacks and often he has his shirts unbuttoned. He hates warmth and tries to keep his temperature as cool as possible, but he's too polite--even at home with no one around--to go around shirtless.
Any clothes that he avoids?
Everything that's not a collared button-up shirt, vest, or slacks.
So in other words, Silveril's fashion is always constant.

 How fashionable is she?Well, she doesn't care all that much about fashion but she buys what's easy to find, which is usually whatever is trendy at the time. What kinds of clothes does she often wear?Angela favors black and red and tends to wear a lot of those colors. Unless it's too cold, she tends to wear camisole type shirts, or backless shirts because of her back issues. She goes for comfort and movement so she doesn't wear things that are stuffy and constricting. She also usually wears boots. She has a huge assortment of different kinds of boots from four inch heels to flat, and from ankle boots to thigh high.
Any clothes she avoids?
Scratchy fabrics and multiple layers. Angela hates clothes so she tries to get away with as little as possible based on the weather and decency laws.
Does she do anything with her hair?It's currently too short, but when it's long, she tends to wear it tied back in a variety of ways. Her hair is really important to her so she takes really good care of it, making sure it's always in good condition and well brushed. (in spite of what Abel says) XD What about jewelry?Not really What about make up? Nah. Too lazy.

How fashionable is she?
Chea is very particular when it comes to her clothes. It must compliment with her hair, mood and she loves to do mix and match. As long as she looked presentable.
What kinds of clothes does she often wear?
Most of her favorite attires are much more on a "Korean-style" which means, she's fond of wearing short skirts paired with long socks, boots or sneakers. And as for the tops, it's either wearing with short sleeves, sleeveless with knitted top. As for the shorts, it should be stretchable too.. And mind you, she loves to wear loosen belts. And the shades are more on primary colors paired with white.. She hates to wear black-toned hues. And yes, Chea is also particular when it comes to neatness of her dress, crisps and an iron freak of course! It must be 'wrinkle-free'
Any clothes that she avoids?
Jeans. Chea feels uncomfortable running, sprinting or climbing trees when gearing herself on jeans. Most of her jeans were already torn because of her flexibility and hyperactive during walks, strolls or activities. I can't even imagine her wearing long sleeves too.
Does she do anything with her hair?"
She prefer her hair down or ponytailed on one side (Mid-ponytail) Then match with clips or hairpins. Most of the time you can see her hair curled neatly on sides, particularly the bangs.. She hates them messy and touching her eyes.
What about jewelry?
When it comes to Jewelries. She can't go anywhere without wearing her necklace and artifact pendant (The only legacy left by her real parents). A pair of diamond earrings and a simple bracelet may do. She loves to wear colorful beads especially the shades of white, purple, pink, blue, red and yellow. It really compliments her fair skin and cheerful attitude.
What about make-up?
She doesn't wear pretty much make-up. Chea is already contented for light blush, loose powders and light pink lipgloss. Literally, she hates wearing dark shades of make up, 'coz she preferrably go for natural!

Suzanne doesn't care. As long as it's comfortable. Although sometimes Sylthfreiyn will dress her and Sylthfreiyn has a good sense of fashion so she can occasionally be seen in fashionable clothes.
What kinds of clothes does she often wear?
Sweaters. She likes sweaters a lot. Of course if it's too hot for sweaters, she will wear short sleeves and vests. Suzanne doesn't care if she shows a lot of skin. She has a love for shorts since they're easy to move in, but will wear skirts too since she can still feel the breeze on her legs with them. Sometimes her clothes often has weird patterns on them since she thinks they're funny.
Any clothes that she avoids?
She hates wearing anything heavy or too many layers. Usually it's one shirt and a sweater and her shorts and she's out the door. She won't wear anything restrictive and likes to have free movement.
She doesn't like to wear shoes and will wear socks. But because she's forced to run around often, she's forced to wear them. However if she's sitting or not running around too much, she will kick them off.

Absolutely not. She doesn't even comb her hair most of the time.

Reilynn is very fashionable. She goes for the cute look since she has a baby face. It's a very important topic to her and she gets offended if she's called unfashionable, but if the offender isn't even fashionable she scoffs at them.
What kinds of clothes does she often wear?
She loves to wear short skirts and plaid. Her favorite color is red so she likes anything with a red color scheme. She will wear anything that looks cute and youthful. She likes patterns with stars a lot because she thinks hearts are too girly and over used. She also has an obsession with belts and trinkets. She likes to hear jingling when she has charms on her belt. She also has a liking for shorts.
She likes her glasses a lot. She doesn't need them, but she wears them because she thinks they're cute.
Any clothes that she avoids?
Anything baggy. She absolutely hates baggy clothes since she thinks they make her look fat. She hates things that are too big and like them to be the right fit. She avoids unfashionable clothes of course!
Does she do anything with her hair?
She likes to do a lot of things with her hair. She usually likes to pin back her hair and will sometimes braid some of her hair, but she usually likes to keep her hair down so it'll flow.

She likes cute jewelry but doesn't care for expensive jewelry or heavy jewelry.

Lip gloss, but that's it.

As for special occasions, she will try her best in making herself look decent, but she has no experience in fashion whatsoever. What kind of clothes does she often wear?What Ruby favors most is knee-high boots and trench coats. Boots, they can almost do anything. From dancing to kicking a**, Ruby finds boots both flexible and easy to work with. As for trench coats, they're just as flexible and useful. You can make a trench coat into almost anything. Hell, even a ballgown if you tried. Anything she avoids?LACES! Ugh, can't stand the things. They're itchy, uncomfortable, and... ugh. There is no possible word to describe just how annoying they are to this girl. Does she wear anything with her hair?She barely has any hair, so it's quite rare to see her with hair accessories and such. What about jewelry?As far as jewelry goes for her, Ruby only feels comfortable with her lockets. Earrings are fine, but nothing to bling and flash.
