The best part of doing these interviews was getting to meet a lot of students and Pepin had originally made it her goal upon coming to Amityville to meet every single one of them. Such a goal was entirely unrealistic but if it took her all year then she could live with that. But damn did it take forever to get even close..
Feeling successful in her current escapade through the buzz and excitement of the trials, Pepin had become radiant, her pixels constantly flurrying around in her hair and breaking off of her limbs. If she wasn't too careful she would freeze extensively...
and miss the rest of the trials. :C

He'd been interviewed a lot. But well, this was for the school paper, right? So Roch headed into the room that he'd been told to go, his guitar slung over his back, his clothes looking a bit ratty from all the stuff that'd happened during the latest trial--
Then he stopped, having stepped through the door. His head was going crazy, showing that whoever was in there was a ghost. But they might not be bad, right, they--
He looked at Pepin. Then he blinked. She looked... uh...
The punk boil turned on his heel and started out again. Hot springs would be AWESOME right now. Yeah.

Pepin was as ghostly as they came. She even had the mannerisms of the troubled spirit in denial. Very very much in denial. As Roch poked his head in she seemed to light up even more. Static noise frizzled in her eyes in all alertness.
But then the reaper turned tail and immediately started booking it away from her table.
"Hey, hey HEY." Pepin pouted in frustration and launched herself from her seat only looking back to see if the table would be fine. Luckily for Roch it created some distance between the two before Pepin went and SHOVED THE WHOLE TABLE BACK INTO THE PP ROOM AND SHUT THE DOOR. She turned tail and took off after the boil hovering with PURPOSE.
"Wait wait where the %@$#% do you think you're going?" Pepin's voice performing a fantastic censor around her words.

"Hotsprings," Roch told her, speeding up just a little, then slowing down again, because seriously, long day had been long. He yawned and kept going. "Nice, quiet, interview-less hotsprings." Although it sort of sucked he didn't have a seriously hot ghoul in a bikini to chat with this time, but his body was killing him. He glanced at her with a hint of worry. "You ah... probably shouldn't get wet? You might, I dunno, short circuit."

"Hot springs? What does that mean? >: " Pepin's face almost completely distorted into an emoticon of despair. "When did we have a hot springs? Can I follow you?" I'm following you anyway.. she thought.
Didn't she meet this student once before? She was almost certain that she had but.. his mannerisms were exceptionally BIZARRE even for her.
"I don't short cir-cir-cir-circuit in water you crazy!" she cried. It was a miracle sometimes what happened to Pepin under water. Nobody had.. really ever seen it really. It was easy to keep up with the reaper now at least when she could cut through some corners, where the walls were thinner than others.

He looked at her, cocking his head slightly as if questioning that statement. She was jackin' STRANGE, even for a ghost, wasn't she? But another fact was he seemed to have trouble with ghosts when near water. First the well when he'd been a kid, then that really strange ghoul with the ton of hair that had tried to drown him with it-- Man, if only he had the energy to shadowstep. "A hot springs is a place with pools of hot water, and ain't you followin' me already?" he asked. Then he opened the door leading out, peeking around it slowly. "Jaaackkkk, they're everywhere," he complained, looking out at the reporters that were swarming the school.

Pepin managed to catch up just enough to lower her voice rather than yell at Roch from a distance. "Yes, they are and they're STEALING all of the Paranormal Post's business," the ghoul huffed jealously. "Well I knew what a hot springs was I just.. didn't realize we had one!" Man if only Roch knew. Pepin felt almost the same way in reflection of him. How could a good looking reaper boil in his second year act so odd.
"So uh... I won't be able to write on any paper in a hot spring but you... wouldn't mind answering some of my questions anyway ri-r-r-riight?" Each syllable went haywire to her step. Maybe getting her too close to water was a bad idea? (Except not really, great idea B) )

He looked at her, he looked at the reporters. Then he looked for the nearest tree. "Time to run!" he said, not answering even the question about ANSWERING questions. He took off, not shadowstepping, but sprinting across the path to the tree and hauling himself into it, like the sneaky little jacker that he was.
Someone might have seen him, but they were looking around wildly now, trying to find him and failing. His purple mohawk stood out too much, he thought irritably.
Maybe he should dye it green next time!

"What... what in the name of Jack are you DOING??!" Pepin started to grow impatient, her voice rising to a sort of sped-up chipmunk pitch. Her pixels became large rectangles splitting from her body. She did her best to follow the reaper, searching like a sentry for the purple flash that would give him away.
One tree..
Two tree...
Three tree..
Fo-
"There you are~" the deep and sultry sound cooed from her throat as she looked up.

"Shhhhh!" he hissed, bringing a finger to his lips. As he saw one of the reporters turn towards them he fell backwards, hanging from his knees, and grabbed for her wrist. "Get up here," he whispered, starting upwards again. If he didn't pull her up (she was a ghost after all) then she could jackin' well DEAL with the reporters on her own! "Quiet!" he added in a whisper, disappearing into the tree--except for his purple hairdo. He was just really, really still. Skill, man, skill!

It was unfortunate that the reporters noticed her. Dangling by her wrist, Pepin sent a paralyzing glare at the hungry informant and belted out a string of synthetic ragequits. Like she would let them take her find!
"I'LL BE QUIET WHEN THESE LITTLE BOTTOM LICKERS GET THEIR PAWS OFF OF MY SCOOPS PIECE OF PIECING SHIIIII-" The glitch ghoul froze but not until after her little tirade. Poor Roch had to deal with the sour end of a flustered Pepin.

"Oh for cryin' out loud," Roch muttered, looking at the frozen ghost. He dropped down from the tree, only to curse as the mob came towards him eagerly. "You're on your own," he told Pepin cheerfully before racing away. Pepzilla If she yells he might actually come back for her, or something? Otherwise she can find him at the cave behind the undead dorms!

Pepin was inwardly struggling to re-animate once more but it was hard to do so with the stress and the continued shouting of the reporters who were tailing them. Eventually they got away but so did her target. When she came to, Pepin looked up into the tree only to find the purple she was chasing had completely vanished. Sighing, the ghoul sauntered away to patrol the school grounds for more students to interview. Where the hell could the moehawk boil have disappeared to anyway.

There was a clear sight of the boil as he walked down the path that led to the undead dorm. He didn't even seem to be hiding, with his guitar slung over his shoulder and a bounce in his step. He sure seemed happy, though... but it did make you wonder what he'd done to the reporters to get them off his back. He'd probably led anyone that noticed him to a juicier target. He was dirty like that. But hell, when there were guys like JD in the school, who could blame him?

After a good half hour of moping about, assuming that Roch had become completely null as a target, Pepin had began searching the undead dorms, seeing as she had not interviewed many of these kinds of students. That was when she caught sight of the boil she'd been pursuing earlier. Like a famine (lol) horse-creature she stalked after him, quietly and carefully as not to cause a scene. This time there had been virtually no sign of reporters as they tended to avoid the murkier end of the school.
Flickering in and out of visibility the ghoul finally came to a pace just behind the boil- though within peripheral range and let out a long and heavy sigh.
"Yanno, it's not very nice to just r-r-r-run off like that," she said with a scoff. "What if I were interviewing you about that guitar or something?" she asked though didn't realize the boil really was into his guitar being the reaper he was. "You think maybe I could squeak at least a word or two out of ya? Even if its not about the upcoming trials?" she attempted to barter.
