"Alright, let's hurry,
Ladon!" Midori said as he hurried along after a darkly colored blur that they had run across not that long ago, a blur that seemed to be leading the two of them, as well as Midori's broom, along on what felt like a wild goose chase. Only it wasn't a goose they were chasing, it was a cat, a black one! Midori had seen and just knew that he had to have the beast for his own but it would appear as though he were going to be so lucky. The cat was feral from the looks of it and wasn't looking to become anyone's familiar any time soon despite Midori having called after the beast many times to tell him that becoming a witch's familiar was a wonderful position for any cat to find himself in.
As the area that they were chasing the cat in gave way to a forest the long haired witch found himself getting slowed down quite a bit and then the dark blur that was his cat jump up and over the kneeling boy and was gone from sight into some tall grasses. He came to a skidding halt, jumping up and over the other boy, and then giving a sighing sound of relief, "Phew!" With a sigh of relief he turned to look at Ladon first, finding the cute, brightly colored dragon still clinging to his shoulder. Lifting a hand he patted him on the head lightly before he looked in the direction he'd come from and saw his broom floating along in wide, sweeping motions, leaving behind a bright green glow as it worked on catching up. Once he was sure his dragon familiar and his broom were both fine his attention then went to the one that was kneeling there... and he squatted down next to him.
"Heeeey... what are you?" He asked in a curious manner, lifting a hand out to poke at one of his ears with wide eyes. Ears! What was he? A kitty...? Naw, maybe not... the ears were to long to be a kitty, wasn't he? Maybe a rabbit? Or a dog like that brat Lincoln was? He hoped that this one was a rabbit, that would be far easier to deal with then another dog!
