Setting:The roleplay here led to this battle. In the middle of traveling to the city with a wine delivery, Kiran discovers that his newfound acquaintance is not exactly the most savory of characters. Meanwhile, Ishtar has a story of her own to tell.

They had been walking for quite some time, and the manor of Aliyy Numair laid far behind them. Kiran had finished the short, and not all too impressive, explanation behind his name. Now he waited to hear the story of the mysterious woman who still had yet to tell him even her name. The city was coming into view now, and he began to wonder if the woman would escape him without ever telling him anything, even though she had promised at least her name when they reached the city.
Kiran eyed the woman walking at his side. Her silence stretched on after he finished speaking. Was something on her mind? He opened his mouth to speak, wishing to break the silence, when he realized that she had stopped to turn around. Frowning at her, he paused and watched as she placed her crate of wine on the ground. "Are you tired?" he asked concerned. They weren't too far from the city now, but they had come a long way. Even he felt a bit exhausted from carrying the heavy load of wine this far.
It felt strange having someone refer to him by his last name. He couldn't think of anyone that ever called him by Tambe. But those thoughts were pushed out of his mind when she mentioned giving him her story. He was rather interested in hearing her tale, after all the mystery she put into keeping her name secret from him thus far. Placing the crates on the ground, he stretched his arms, loosening them from their stiffness from carrying the weight of the wine. Whatever the story, it seemed like it might be a long tale, or at least, that was what Kiran gathered from the fact that she had unloaded her crate before speaking.
His eyebrows rose at her talk of freedom. If the bruises and scratches were any indication of her life in her father's home, Kiran didn't blame her for wanting to escape and be free.
The sudden attack caught him off guard, and Kiran stumbled back, tripping over the crates of wine placed behind him as he tried to avoid the woman's dive. "Hey!" Kiran shouted furiously as he drew out his tonfas from where he hid them at his back. He scrambled back to his feet, more alert now for her next attack. "This is how you treat someone after they agree to take you with them?"
