Rolled a One: Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks

Lillith enters the stadium, not sure of what she is going to see, she walks up to the stadium and was glad to see it was an ice stadium. "Yes, Sakkie, we have an advantage here, but don't get cocky, I hear this is a great opponent, and that we should be ready to fight our hardest!

"Aww, man..." Zinnia whined at the sight of the field. Luckily, she had brought her coat. She untied it from around her waist and quickly pulled it on over her shoulders before she froze completely solid. Her breath fogged out before her as she picked up her zubat's pokeball and said, "Sorry, Zyk, but now it's your turn!"
The cold sank in through his soft fur quickly as he burst into flight. "Zuuu," she squeaked unhappily, rising and falling steadily in the air as he pumped his wings. At least moving kept him warm! He did a quick scan using echolocation, and was not happy to discover that he would be fighting the very same dratini that had defeated him last time! Perhaps this time, he would be able to prove his true strength.

"Okay! Start off with a Twister!" Zinnia commanded.
Zyk flapped his wings fiercely in front of his body, slamming the freezing air together until it whirled fiercely as a small but potent tornado. Before it got too big for him to control, Zyk sent it spiraling toward Sakki across the slippery floor.

Sakki dodges the attack.
Lillith was surprised, Sakki actually dodged an attack. "Way to go Sakki, let's go with Ice Beam!!!"
Sakki closed her eyes then she opened them and a beam of freezing air.

Suddenly, Zyk was too cold to even move. He fell through the air like a stone and hit the ground hard; but not hard enough to break the thick sheet of ice that now locked his limbs. This uncomfortable feeling was a lot more familiar than he'd like it to be!
"Oh no!" Zinnia said in dismay. She wished that there was something she could do in this situation, but it seemed quite hopeless. It was all up to Zyk now.

(I think if i use ice attacks, its 25 points added to the reg attack?? Im not sure >.<)

It seemed that Zyk just couldn't catch a break; poor guy seemed to be on a losing streak. But such negative thinking wouldn't be allowed! Zinnia banished the thought of her best friend losing. He wouldn't give up; she had to believe that they would make it this time! Things didn't look good, but who knew how things would turn out? "You can do it!" she called down to encourage the little bat.

Zyk would have winced from the painful attack if he could... heck, he would be shivering like crazy if he could! But he was still complete immobilized by the ice.
Zinnia just grit her teeth and crossed her fingers. "C'mon..." she muttered under her breath, waiting for Zyk to break free.

Zyk regained some use of his limbs this time, and began to wiggle and squirm along the floor of the stadium. He had to break free! If only his wings would work with him, he could get back into the air!

Even after the ice melted off at last, Zyk lay limp; he was unconscious.
"You fought well, Zyk. Return," Zinnia said softly. The bat pokemon was sucked back up to his pokeball that Zin held in a beam of red light. "Thanks for the battle!" she called across the field before turning to quickly visit the pokemon center.
