"Ipsa autem die, surget eques proferre iustitiae et honor. IN EO CHAOS INFINITUM!" As the latin tapers, sounding as if God himself were speaking, a whinny could be heard throughout the arena. At this, the opening drumroll to " Chronicles of a Hero" began. From the stage, Dion appeared atop a white horse, an attendant following close behind, presumably to take the horse once the entrance was done. Dion raised his fist in the air, while his other hand held the reins, his signature shield attached to that arm. "Making his way to the ring, from Minneapolis, MN; weighing in at 270 pounds; he is the Hardcore Paladin, DION NECURAT!!!" Smoke began to flow onto the ramp and ring as he made his way down the ramp. Many fans tried to reach out and pet Walnut (the name of the horse), but to no avail. When they reached the bottom of the ramp, Dion dismounted, handing the reins to the attendant to lead the horse back up the ramp. He slid into the ring and raised his shield as if to protect himself, then lowering it to raise his other fist. He took off the shield and set it outside of the ring, then handed his hat to the referee.

Rise Against -- Re: Education Through Labor
The arena went dark and multiple flashing white lights filled the stadium. The lights synced up with the bass line until the pace picked up and all the lights went on, an white pyro display going off on the stage. When it died down, Mike Landry appeared on the stage, sporting his new outfit of a white leather jacket with red trim, with matching long white tights. To the sound of a heartbeat pounding away To the rhythm of the awful rusted machines We toss and turn but don't sleep Each breath we take makes us thieves Like causes without rebels Just talk but promise nothing else
We crawl on our knees for you Under a sky no longer blue We sweat all day long for you But we sow seeds to see us through Because sometimes dreams just don't come true We wait to reap what we are due
"Introducing first...from Seattle, Washington, weighing in at 245 lbs, he is the WWF Undisputed Champion The Innovator, MIKE LANDRY!!" Landry, a look of confidence written on his face, strode down the ramp and slapped hands with his fans at ringside. Despite the events at the Pay Per View, he seemed no worse for wear, and was ready to put on a show tonight so he could go into Wrestlemania as the Champion. Landry stepped up the steel steps without wasting a seconds time, sliding into the ring and immediately jumping up to the top rope to his his signature pose, and raise his brand new belt high above his head, soaking in the adoration of the audience in attendance. Once he was ready, he jumped back down and handed his belt to the official, ready to start this match off.

As Landry entered the arena, Dion took some time to collect his thoughts. He had finally made it to the main event; this would be his chance to prove his worth in the ring. Granted, he was nervous, but all he could do was give it his best. Hopefully, that would mean he would walk away with the title.
Before the bell rang, Dion would approach Landry and offer a handshake for good sportsmanship.

Landry eyed Dion curiously. He had faced off with him before in a Handicap match, and he wasted no time in taking advantage of a situation, but never in a dirty or underhanded way. He extended his hand to shake Dion's, trusting him, for now.

Dion noticed the look in Landry's eyes as their hands clasped. Sure, the last time they met he utilized clever ring tactics to get the upperhand in the match, but this time it was one-on-one for the major title.
When the bell rang, Dion set himself up in a defensive stance, and approached Landry again.

Landry nodded to Dion, silently thanking him for taking the high road and not taking a cheap shot. When he moved back in, Landry offered a collar-elbow tie up to start things off.

Landry attempted to switch to an arm wringer, and if successful he'd try and hammer a few elbow shots to Dion's shoulder joint while isolated.

Dion would grit his teeth as his shoulder was wrenched.

After the arm wrench and the elbows to the shoulder, Landry would try and turn Dion around and lift him up so he can attempt a Shoulderbreaker.

((Whoops! Forgot about the elbows! sweatdrop ))
Dion was lifted up. Before Landry could deliver the attack, though, Dion would attempt to deliver a headbutt to Landry's chest, hoping to shake him loose.

Landry felt the headbutt dig into his sternum and it staggered him slightly. He moved one hand from Dion to his chest, giving him the room his needed to shake loose from atop his shoulder.

As Dion slid off of Landry's shoulder, he would attempt to give him a hard shove into the turnbuckle, more to make some distance as he shook the cobwebs from him after that headbutt.
