 The sun was slowly slipping away, and this was the first time he had went on his own. After his older sister dropped him like a baby giraffe as soon as he hit adol. He knew how to hunt, but when he found her gone this morning... Something hit him. He was... alone. Mother and father, he had never met before and he moved his teachings on to his older sister that seemed to have never want to talk about anything except when he was leaving her side. Yes, this whole new world to him seemed to vast... His ears stretched when his stomach growled, then flattened and sighed. What was he going to do now? She had always said that one day she was gunna leave but... She never even said goodbye! The grumble of his stomach started to aggravate him. She couldn't had waited til after dinner? He vowed that if he ever had a family... They would always be together... He sighed and gathered his big ones and shoved off. But the further he went, the darker it got... After a few hours of aimlessly looking about for any sign of life other than the trees and grass, avoiding the occasional hyena laughter in the distance.. Finally he decided to end his search for food for the night. The little hump in the grass lands looking over another valley, he sat on his hunches and watched the night sky... It felt like his mohawk just grew in, that's how lost he felt... aimlessly starring at the stars.. The sight was beautiful.. "You suck sis."

Rolling her shoulders back and forth, Lumi was a bit sore from lying around all day. She had woken up when the sun had started to creep across the horizon, but decided that she’d much rather lay around and be lazy than actually get up and go anywhere. And since she didn’t get up and do anything, she didn’t get the chance to go out and look for food. Well, it was more like she just didn’t have the motivation to.
She had been on her own since she was very small, so things like this weren’t really a big deal, but she still felt like such a tiny cub. Sometimes, she just really wanted to roll around in the dirt and play all day, and not have to worry about ‘trivial’ things like feeding herself or keeping an eye out for trouble. Even now, she didn’t actually know if she could discern what was a friend or foe. Granted, she wasn’t quite grown, but she should still have some sort of idea on how to judge others.
Maybe it was because she had been on her own for so long that she didn’t judge characters well. After all, she really did just want someone else to be around, to laugh with, and to be carefree around. The closest she’d gotten was the chance encounter with a complete stranger, but that usually ended after a short conversation. She kind of missed the company of others; that was something that she knew was probably the most childish thing about her, but she didn’t want to out-grow it.
Taking a few steps, Lumi felt that she should probably start moving. She didn’t like to stay in the same place for too long by herself; she felt vulnerable that way. Keeping her head low, she started off slowly, feeling the remnants of the day’s sun resonate on her pale coat.

The cheetah was at his lowest, he hated just being around anymore. Once his sister left it felt like his whole world went to the dirt. Thoughs eyes of his only stared out in to the stars, still something moved beneath them and caught his eye. His ears went from fanning backwards to flipping up forwards. Blinking a bit... lifting his head.. "Sis?"
Oh he wished it would have and he would cling to any rumor of it.. He was lonely and being out here alone sucked! He lifted his body him, and slowly gazed through the grasses in foot of where he saw the movement the first time. Then a distinct smell, not from his sister came to his nose and made him stop maybe a few less yards away. Ears going down.. "Its not her.." Completely disappoint, but lifted his head softly. "Maybe- maybe whoever it is may know where she went!" And there he went after the movement and when he finally got to the initial sight. "Oh.." Whoever it was, was gone now.
His head hung low and sighed, til his eyes traced a trail of paws within the grass.. He slowly came up to them and put his paw upon the footprint. "A cheetah..." His head lifted, and then went forward in to following them.
"Hello? Helloo-"
He called out. Almost desperately..

Slinking through the grass, Lumi couldn't help but grin; she absolutely loved trying to act sneaky, even though she wasn't very good at it at all. But at night....maybe she had a fighting chance at being able to finally be sneaky.
Almost hopping through the grass, Lumi was half-heartedly chasing a grasshopper she had just discovered. It was...amusing, and it very much distracted her from her original task on this night; find something to eat that wasn't a small bug.
Totally oblivious to her surroundings, Lumi's ears flicked up hastily as words reached her ears. She swung her head around, having to squint pretty hard to find whoever it was that was talking to her. When she finally spotted them, it was no wonder she couldn't see them all that well - their coat seemed to blend in perfectly with the night surrounding. "H...Hello?" Tilting her head to the side, Lumi turned, orange eyes wide. If not for the moonlight, she'd worry whether she was being ambushed or not by this almost invisible stranger.
