Kumo sat against the wall of his den, he sighed still unsure of how to express these weird feeling he's been having around the queen. Were they his warrior instints or were they something else~ This was mind boggling. He sighed and proceeded to leave his den, he had to talk a walk or something some fresh air would hopefully help his understand what was going on in his head.

He approached the mouth of the den to take grace under the beautiful nightsky, it was so beautiful. Lost in its beauty he somehow couldnt help but think about the queen, its all he's been thinking about. He wondered if he was sick or something.

Fin'lay had once more been talking with the guards, this time however it's subject matter had been a tough thing for them to swallow. As she padded quietly off towards the dens she thought back to just a short time ago when she was bringing up her leaving the pride temporarily to scope out the neighboring lands and maybe even a bit beyond that. She had done this quite a few times before however, never alone. And that had been the cause of today's issue. A loud sigh escaped from the young Sgiach as she tried to let it roll off her back. Ultimately she had won the argument. If only because for once she actually pulled her rank and ordered them that they would let her do this alone. Even that had made them reluctant but, it was none the less necessary. A Sgiach, while queen was still a warrior. She was certain she would be safe in the rogue lands.

As she made it up over a small mound she found herself once more in the presence of the young male Kumonryu. Not that she minded. In fact she enjoyed his company. Maybe a bit to much. She sighed once more. She couldn't allow herself to think that way about him. While not that much, he was still younger. He had goals and she was already at her max position. And she was fairly certain he didn't feel the same way about her. Summoning up the courage she would need in order to talk to him and especially to bring up that she was leaving to him of all lions she walked closer to the young male. "Merry meet Kumonryu." She said in a friendly but still normal voice.

Huh? Kumo looked around for a moment wondering where the voice came from, "Oh Merry Meet Sgiach. Lovly evening like usual isnt it." He gave a small smile. Kumo wondered what she was up to, she much like Kumo always looked like something was on her mind. The young warrior was pleased to see her yet again, it made him feel like a cub, very happy.

"What are you doing this evening." He wondered, normally whenever they ran into each other they would talk but then they parted ways. But he wanted to spend some time with her maybe it would give him a better idea of what and how he felt for her; however, no matter what he knew he had to keepit a secret, she was after all a more nobel rank than he was.

"It is." She said, as she looked up at the stars for a quick moment before looking back at Kumo. "Returning from a heated discussion with the guards." Fin'lay admitted. She knew full well that since Kumo had every intention of becoming a warrior that she would need to tell him one way or the other what her plan was. She was certain that he truely would not like her idea. However, he would have to accept it just as the guards had. Then again, a part of her wished to take him with her just so that they could be alone. Once more she mentally shook herself. He is young. And you are not. She thought to herself.

"What about you young warrior?" Fin'lay asked, adding the young part to once more remind herself that he was to young for her and that the feelings she had been developing for him were wrong.

"I was just about to go on patrol with one of the guards." If he wanted to make his way up in the ranks he would have to work hard and prove himself. He was after all, as she stated a young one.

"Have the guards done something wrong again?" He asked, he noticed that she would often get in a discussion with the guards. He just hoped once he became a guard that he would never have a 'heated discussion'.

"I see. You seem to do that a lot. Though, I suppose if you want to become one you will have to huh." She replied with a nod. And then sighed. "They have done nothing wrong. Just... We had a disagreement that I won." Fin'lay said taking in a deep breath and looking into Kumo's eyes. Then slowly letting it out. "I suppose since you are going with one of the guards I should tell you that I am going to be leaving the pride for a while." She paused.

"I'll come back soon. But I will be going out into the bordering lands and scoping them as I have many times before." Once more she paused. She was hesitant to tell him but if she didn't he would just hear it from someone else and would most likely go off and try to bring her back or stay with her. As much as she wanted that, she knew she couldn't. "I will be going alone."

Kumo left his heart stop. I am going to be leaving the pride for a while. She's... leaving... "Oh thats good~~i think." He didnt know how to react, he knew it would be wrong to try and stop her and if the guard couldnt get her to stay he didnt have a shot, so he didnt even bother. But he was still caught off guard with ths surprising information. He wondered how long she would be. Thoughts raced through his head, was he really okay with her leaving? Kumo could feel his heart start to beat inside his head. But he had to maintain a calm facade.

"When will you be leaving?" Was all he could muster up. He didnt know what he was going to do when she did leave, he understood she was comng back, but he didnt know when and that made him feel sad...

To say that she was in utter shock was a understatement. She thought for sure that he would fuss about how she couldn't go out alone or something. Yet, he didn't. Maybe she didn't give him enough credit. Then again, maybe he really didn't care. "Yes... It is." She said with a nod. "I'll be leaving mid day." Fin'lay said, meaning that it would be daylight when she left. She would need to move out quickly lest the guards change their mind about following her or the rest of the pride finding out. "I don't know how long I will be gone. Though I don't expect it to be a very long trip." Oh how wrong she would be. "Just don't grow up to much while I am gone. Okay?"

Kumo nodded, "Well just be safe, as i am sure you will be." He gave her a nod. Mid-day mean he wouldnt be able to see her off, but that was okay they had this moment together; maybe he should tell her how he's really been feeling. But he didnt want that to prevent her from going. He would wait until she returned, ya... then he could lay everything out for her, about what hes been feeling. He looked at her, maybe growing up was what he needed to do to be with her. "I'll try not too." He said giving her a smile. When you return ill tell you how i really feel. "Merry Part Fin'lay." He said unsure if it was okay to call her by her name, but he wanted her to know he at least felt like they were close enough to be called by there first names. He bowed his head and made his way toward the boarders. He just hoped when she returned he would be ready for what laid ahead.

"I heed your advice." She nodded, a slight smile coming over her lips. A then a larger smile could only blossom on her maw as she looked at Kumo. He had said her name. Her true name and the butterfly that she had been keeping at bay fluttered around in her chest and stomach. Maybe it would be best if he grew while she as gone. Sadly, she still didn't believe that would help ease her uneasiness in this situation. All she could do was bow her head and respond. "Merry meet, merry part and merry meet again Kumo." She replied, watching as he made his way toward the border, then heading into her den to rest up for the short time she would have until she left.
