Willow had taken the liberty to sneak around the school and drag Joachim from his dorm. After the trials the reaper seemed like he could use a mini-vacation. Willow was knocking on his door watching her back for any reporters. She'd already ran into them once, she didn't want to meet them again.
"Joachim. JOACHIM!" She called wondering if the boil was asleep, maybe not. She'd sent him a message to get dressed in something appropriate for swimming, that she was coming to get him.
Of course she sounded desperate to get out of the hallway to keep from being caught by any lurking reporters.

He was not asleep, actually far from any sort of sleep instead his head was reeling in every direction of music that he could possible grasp. He was however, tired and despite all of his attempts in laying in this bed in trying to close his eyes tightly sleep evaded him.
Merel on the other hand was fast asleep on his forward, that was until the knocking on the door woke him up. Standing up on her hind legs she tapped him on the forehead with her tail.
"Ok ok I'm going I'm going... " Trying to smooth what he could of his red curly hair into a flatten sort of manageable appearance Joachim opened the door when he felt he was at least some what presentable.
"Err.. Hi Willow!" He replied giving her a frowning smile.

"Are you ready?" She asked glancing around. Before grinning, "We should get going while the coast is clear."
She shifted slightly. "You remembered to dress for something like the beach right?" Her tail flickered as she watched, "Merel you wanna ride?" She offered with a smile, "I think the mice would enjoy where we're going as well."
The tigress slipped inside the door for a moment. "We have to be careful there's press everywhere because of the trials."

Joachim was dressed in something that somewhat resembled sorts, if shorts were typically stripped and typically longer than the knees. He wore a light white loose shirt with buttons and he had to fight the urge to wear some sort of frilly necktie.
"Ummmmm..... this is really..... about all I have to wear for swimming.... umm... bathing suits are not really something I know much about..." Joachim replied his face lightly flushed, the other problem was he couldn't really get over the embarrassment of showing his chest.. or much of his legs.
Merel on the other hand wore a pair of doll floaties on her arms and a pink frilly dress that probably was a doll's piece of a bathing suit. Nodding her head she squeaked and made her way down Joachim and waited patiently at Willow's feet to be picked up. At least she had manners not to run up. The other mice peeked their heads out of their hiding places and chatted together before gathering around Joachim's feet.
When the press was mentioned the reaper frowned deepened. The last thing he wanted was a picture of him wearing what he was in. The worse part.... he was part of the Paranormal Post.... or he was at one point he remember meeting Hel.
"Errrrr.... yea....... I think I can pass on meeting them like this..." He replied trying to think of ways to avoid them, obviously disguises wouldn't work.

Willow's tail flickered, "I think I've found a way around them, we just have to be careful."
She stooped down and offered her hand to Merel before letting the mouse hitch a ride on her shoulder. "If I have to I can shift to my natural form and get us past that way."
She shrugged, "Well if you're ready lets get going. I don't know how long our window of opportunity is." There was a nod and then the tigress headed out the door giving a quick sweep to make sure that no one was around. "Shame my natural ability doesn't cover the whole school."

"Ahh sure..." Joachim replied picking up a flute just in case he needed to call his mice for help in hiding from the press. He wasn't sure exactly what was Willow's natural form, he did assume it had something to do with a rather large orange cat but he didn't ask.
Falling behind her he waited for all of his mice to leave the room before shutting it closed, taping his flute he thought about something.
"I don't know if it would be much help but I could use the mice to scope out head of us and see what is ahead. I doubt they would even notice them." Phorum and Yaus wouldn't have any problem running head as long as they were in a pair.

Willow nodded, "That should work until we get outside. From there we just have to make it to the cover of the woods."
She said as they moved. "As long as we know if they are near by. If they get too close we can hide somewhere until they've gone by."
Her ears were twitching as she listened around them as much as she could for extra footsteps. "It won't take us long once we've gotten out of the building to get to where we're going."

Yaus and the somewhat sleepy Phorum squeaked scurried down the hallway after Joachim called their names and played a short note on his flute.
"I'm not so great in running.... however I can do the hiding part well..." He replied as he kept his voice low like a soft deep whisper. He wondered if she could hear better than him, granted she was very cat like versus Joachim's extreme lack of athletic ability and well any other skill other than music and drinking tea. Actually now that he thought about it a lot of his friends were in some way mice eaters, Tayrn with her snake, Willow, and Muka. There was a wonder how his mice still managed to exist.
Thinking about the press again he felt the need to ask"Are we sure... they aren't hiding in the woods as well?"

Willow watched as the mice moved, her ears flickered. "Yeah, figured as much. I'm not quite as graceful like this, but a tiger in the halls would probably bring too much attention." Her tail flickered, as she moved.
She paused, "Yeah....." that seemed to make her think for a second, "I'm orange, remember. I can hide in the brush and me and the mice can scout ahead." Her tail flickered, "I don't think they know about where we're going though. So they might not be over there."
She nodded her head as she moved. Keeping an ear out for the mice.

But didn't orange like his hair stand out in the woods? Or maybe it depended on the season Joachim thought as he continued to follow behind. He was however awkwardly walking on the balls of his feet as he noticed the heels on his boots seemed to make a rather loud click on the floor. Maybe a different pair of shoes would have been better.
One of the mice returned squeaking softly picking up him Joachim held him close to his ear. When he finished he set him down and nodded, "He says that there is someone lingering around the front door of the hall, but it looks like they might move on to the library."

Willow paused nodding as she, listened. There was a moment that she thought about it. "Library." She looked around nodded, "Slow and easy then. We need to know when it's clear."
The byakko looked towards the mouse wondering if it'd agree to that. She glanced at Joachim's choice in shoes, "You'd be better off barefooted." Willow shook her head as she moved silently and slowly towards the exit.
