Sherry had spent the past hour or so in the library, doing what many in a library do. She was reading. Trying to read, anyway.
The wyrm almost sounded like she was whining.
One day, just one. Really. Sherry couldn't take a break without Armagnac telling her she was getting soft. Sherry knew she still had a very long way to go when it came to weapons training, this all day everyday thing was getting old. Besides, I need to study. I don't know enough about...things.
Sherry sighed and closed her book. She knew Armagnac would continue to pester her until she did some form of physical work. Returning her book to its shelf, Sherry started to make her way out of the library, planning to head towards the training grounds.
"I suppose we can try and find some sort of training to do," she whispered.

Earlier in the day Tori had planted herself in the library reading up on one of her currently favorite subjects of myths. For at least the first few hours Aklin had also had been intersted in what his hunter was reading and every now and the would put his own input about what they had been reading.
Just a little longer as this part is really fasinating, she answered while continuing to read as she didn't want to stop and she really did think that she could just not listen to Lin.
Aklin replied and Tori total felt him grinning widely and she fully well know that he would do it and would so aquard.
You don't go there and alright I will stop. So how does some training sound?
Sighing as she knew that Lin was right, closing the book that she was reading and put it back on the shelf were it belonged. Walking towards the exit Tori spotted Sherry leaving the Library and walked quickly up to her.
"Heya, Sherry! What are you up too?" Tori asked with a little smile.

Sherry smiled when she saw who was addressing her. Tori! She liked Tori, they'd had a good time on that External Mission, and a couple of other times, too. "Tori! Hi! I was studying, but now I'm headed down to the training grounds." That is not a bad idea. Sherry's smile grew. She knew training was important to all Hunters, and especially the trainees. A sparring session would not only help the both girls, but allow them a bit of time to get to know each other. "I'm hoping to do some sparring, if you wanted to join me."

Chucking a little to herself, "I had been doing the same thing as well. Until my partner, Aklin decided that he wanted to do something different then reading," Tori answered with a little smile. Tori liked Sherry as she found the fellow lifer fun to be around. Tori's smiled grew as that total sounded like a very good idea as practice makes perfect and she needed more practice to better handle her ball and chain part of her weapon. She even thought it would be fun too as it would be a perfect time to get to know each other as well, to which Aklin like that idea too but he wanted the spar more. "Yep I will total join you in a spar. It sounds like a lot of fun!" Tori answered as she would follow Sherry to the training grounds.

"Ha! Armagnac is the same way. She's been yelling at me to 'get some real training' in all morning," Sherry chuckled. "Glad to hear you can join me! Practice dummies are good, but people are such better company!" "Shall we head on down, then?" she asked, heading towards the exit. It wasn't a long walk, but Sherry had enough time to find that was truly glad to have run into Tori. The fellow lifer was rather pleasant, and the girls did have a bit in common, as near as she could tell. This was going to be fun! "I haven't done this much, but hopefully it'll be fun!" she smiled as they neared the training grounds. ((Rolling for initiative!))

"It will be lots of fun and you are total right about that. Also people make you think more on your feet that the practice dummies ever will," Tori replied with a little smile. "Sound good by me," she answered as she followed Sherry to the exit. "Nether have I. When I do come practice its with the dummies. It will be fun, you just have to keep thinking that or it never will," Tori replied as Aklin just snickered at her, but still excited for the spar. Summoning her weapon with a clank as Tori took hold of the chain. "Come on lets see what you got," Tori said smiling as she was just as excited as her weapon.

"Okay!" Sherry grinned at Tori as she summoned her own weapon. She turned the glaive in her hands, before pointing the blade at the other Life trainee. It was a nice friendly battle, and Sherry hoped neither of them would get hurt, but still, this spar could only help them. "Here we go!" She stepped forward and took stab at Tori with the bladed end of the glaive. Armagnac began yelling in her head. naggeela Sorry for the delay! I am back now, though!

Tori found that Sherry's weapon was interesting up close and Aklin gave a little growl at that thought that she should focus on him and there battle and just huffed at his reaction. Alright I get your point, Lin. Tori replied to her weapon. "You do have a interesting weapon, Sherry," Tori said as she then charged at the other Lifer. Then taking a swipe with her sword when she had gotten close. "But you can do it!" Hp: 40 Damage: 2 Charge: 1/3

"Thanks!" Sherry said, even as Tori was moving in with her own attack. She clenched her teeth as the sword connected, and took a couple of steps back. "Your weapon is quite interesting, too." A sword with a ball and chain? It was quite neat. Armagnac made a disgruntled noise in her head. Sherry brought the glaive up quickly, before swinging the blade in Tori's direction. "I'll certainly try!" HP: 38 Damage: 2

"Your welcome," Tori replied as she took Sherry's attack, as it wasn't too bad but not the hardest that she had ever felt as that belonged to Clarice. Backing up a few steps from the blow to regain a defensive stance. "Thanks, but the chain can be a pain to use properly," she said looking for a good opening. "That is good! Also what type of books do you like to read?" Finding a opening, Tori quickly charges at Sherry with her sword held high and once she got close to which Tori slashes down across Sherry with her sword. Hp: 38 Damage: 8 Charge: 2/3

"I bet it can be," Sherry replied to Tori's comment about her weapon's chain. "You'll get the hang of it, I'm sure." She smiled. "Hmm," Sherry eyed Tori in return, looking for her own opening, or at least hoping to see the other Life trainee's attack coming. "I am a fan of History. Also like pleasant stories, possibly with a bit of fantasy. You?" The sword came in from above, and the blow landed squarely. "Oomph!" Sherry stumbled back a couple of steps. "Great hit," she said through clenched teeth. She twisted her own weapon, and stabbed at Tori. HP: 30 Damage: 3 Charge: 2/3

"Oh and the chain is a good tripping hazard as well," Tori said with a little chuckle as it was true since she had lost count on how many times she had tripped on it. "I do think that you are right as it just takes practice," "Well what I was aloud to read were mostly informational type of books, like the encyclopedia with very little bit of fantasy. Now I read just any book I can get my hands on," she answered with with a little smile and took Sherry's hit as it was effective. "Thanks and your hit wasn't too bad either," Tori answered as she took a few steps backwards for an attack. To then come forward with a few stabs of her sword at Sherry since that was a good idea of stabbing. Hp: 35 Damage: 7 Charge: 2/3
