OOC: STATUS EFFECT, THE DAY OF GUESTS AND TOO MANY INTERVIEWS INTERVIEWS:- If your student is brave enough to step foot into Amityville, they will immediately be barraged by questions, ESPECIALLY if they are currently in the trials. Simply roll a 100-sided dice four dice, and match your dice roll to the questions results below. You will then need to ICLY answer 4 of the questions. If you get a REPEAT QUESTION, it simply means another newspaper company/ group is asking you the same question! It is up to you if you want to repeat yourself, really. Just answer the questions to how your character would ICly react to it. - Feel free to GM the reporter characters as well as they ask you the question/ approach your students/ etcetc in MODERATION. - Please do this in a PRP OR SOLO, if PRP, just imagine that your whole group is being asked these questions and they each have to answer differently, if SOLO then just answer the questions solo. PLEASE TITLE THESE AS [INTERVIEW PRP] OR [INTERVIEW SOLO] - For completing these interviews, you will get +2 rp points for it being a GM rp, and another +1 if it goes over 800 words! - Please remember, these are public newspapers, so things you don't want to go circulate around regarding Amityville or yourself, you probably should not be sharing! QUESTIONS FOR TRIALS PEOPLE:1-10: So, what can you tell me about yourself? 11-20: What do you think of the trials so far? Are they dangerous? 21-30: What was the hardest moment for you to overcome during the last Trials? 31-40: How much do you really know about the Four Clans? 41-50: Someone is saying that the winning groups unfairly cheated. What do you think about this? 51- 60: Do you think you have learned anything important from the Trials? 61-70: We heard a student dissipated during the last Trials. Are you scared for the next ones? 71-80: If you were the winning group, what is the first thing you'd request to the Four Clans? 81-90: Why do you think your school deserves to participate in the Trials? 91-100: I've heard rumours that the Heirs of the Four Clans reside in Amityville? Is this true? What are they like? QUESTIONS FOR NON TRIALS PEOPLE:1-10: What is your opinion on the Trials so far? Do they seem... dangerous? 21-30: Why didn't you participate in the Trials? Was it because you know something the other students don't know? 31- 40: What do you think about Amityville as a school? How would you rate it? 41-50: We heard some of the staff at Amityville have been rather... questionable. What is your opinion on this? 51-60: If you could go to another school, would you? 61 - 70: We saw that DETH visited your school recently. What are your views on them? 71 - 80: What are your views on the Four Clans? What about these Heirs? Do they really study in Amityville? 81-90: We heard recently, that a ghoul died in your school and has never been found since. Is this true? 91-100: Has Professor Hellma Shox really retired?

When Alex returned to Amityville with his friends, his team, the last thing he expected was to see the school grounds over run with so many strangers. Reports, horsemen representatives, family...It was a mess. Such a crowd was no problem for the zomboil, who was more then used to being part of a horde, but not wanting to lose Yin, he reached out and wrapped a hand around his, as they often did when faced with the possibility of being separated.
Entering the school itself was somehow even worse, as camera's flashed an microphones were shoved towards him. He cringed back, slouching over more then usual, eyes temporarily blinded as he squinted around. This was...what was even going on?
Questions were being shouted at all sides, but one voice carried louder then the others, and it was likely his team mates heard it just as well as he did. "What do you think of the trials so far? Are they dangerous?"
Were they supposed to answer this? Was it..safe to answer these questions?
Alex stood up a little straighter, fingers squeezing Yin's before saying. "Uh, it's..it's been interesting? Definitely not...quite as I had expected. As for the danger...Well, we signed up knowing it wasn't going to be a walk in the park."
He thought that was probably a good enough answer.

Taryn looked like a holideer in headlights when they returned to campus. They'd needed to regroup, not to... run across whatever this was! Stress, that's what this was. Stress and danger and strangers asking them very leading questions. They had to be careful, painfully so. Alex's response to the loudest question seemed... dangerous. The chimera popped on a smile and spoke to the reporter:
"Dangerous? Not quite. Is it difficult? Yes, of course. Are we going to die? No." Except for the fact that they could easily have been taken out by that enormous kraken. It was probably best to not get Amityville in even more trouble for associating with a dangerous series of trials.
People everywhere, thrusting microphones and camera and notepads toward unassuming students. What in Jack's name...?

It was mass chaos and people-flooding and all Mort wanted to do was find his dorm room and curl up for a moment. Maybe get some sand out of the crevices of his body he'd yet to reach; that s**t was itchy. He smelled bad, he felt bad, and the flashing lights did very little for his mood. In fact, Mort looked downright pissed as he growled at the reporter, "Course is dangerous! Is from Horsemen! Will get through no matter what, so better make way."
It was almost a threat. Almost. But then, this was Mort. could he ever act out on a threat, even as annoyed as he looked?
The lights were blinding him, and he growled and grumbled and stumbled, latching onto the nearest person's shoulder to keep him steady. In the sea of blinding dots in his vision he caught sight of Yin and Alex holding hands (er, what?), but in light of the more bothersome paparazzi, well, this was a scare fly on the wall in scope.
((PERCEPTION ROLLLL. WILL HE FINALLY GET THAT TWO OF HIS TEAMMATES ARE DATING? Yup kinda.))

Once again, Taryn found Mort hanging off of her. She immediately placed her hand over the boil's and smiled to him. This was overwhelming as all hell, but she had her team. She had her friends. The ghoul took a deeo breath and nodded, trying to wave her way out of the crowd and failing miserably.

Alexander's cool hand closed over his as they reached the crowd at the school. As soon as the blinding, flashing lights began to dazzle his eyes and the rush of noise began to crash over him he was ridiculously grateful for that hand. At least it was easy to stick with the zomboil. He stayed all but glued to his side and simply hoped that the rest of the team was still with them.
Then the crowds began advancing on them, shouting and pushing. And it was really more than he wanted to handle. He hunched as well, but he had to do this, had to deal with it. It seemed as though he was supposed to answer one of the questions, so he spoke up, though whether it was loud enough to be heard over the roar of the crowd was debatable. "It is challenging, but not too dangerous. Nothing that our team could not survive."

Chuppi had been...sort of not really listening in to the interview, what with her being still a bit emotional over the loss of the sandcastle. While she'd been assured it wasn't her fault it still bit at her that she didn't do everything she could to defend it and part of her was still weeping even though her eyes were dry. It wasn't until she heard someone asking questions and her friends answering them in order that she bit her lower lip and started to fret, wondering if it was okay for her to just say what was on her mind. Two questions had been asked at this point and, if she was going to participate like the rest of her group, she would need to answer both without fail.
Also without crying and goodness Jack where was her Thermos. It was somewhere on the beach, she'd need to go and get it as soon as possible because she needed a snack to take the edge off her nerves. All of this was a bit too much to handle on an empty stomach even if she was doing just fine without resorting to eating. Anyway! The questions!
"I do not...believe they are being more dangerous than say us doing our exams? The exams were quite scary, swinging from roofs by one self! Here at least we are in group with one another and we can protect one another? No one has gotten seriously hurt at least." Chuppi smiled as best she could and placed her hands behind her back, her finger interlocking themselves as she did her best to keep her nerves in check. Performing as Cloodia had helped somewhat with her speaking in front of many people though she still did have to talk slowly and watch what she was saying in an effort not to spew every word out in Spanish.
The second question was asked and she thought of what to say, placing her hands from behind her back down onto the bottom of her face in thought. The cameras were hurting her eyes so she closed them, her mind racing in an effort to find an answer that would seem suitable for all of this. She didn't want to seem stupid in front of so many strangers, not if her words were going to be recorded for posterity! The question had been about learning so it fell into the same line as the one above - meaning she didn't have to stress too hard to answer.
"From this trial I have learned team work is important? We must always be ready too for what comes, like crazy crabs and birds! Then the tentacles came. . . .I think that is a lesson for us in being prepared? Our castle was destroyed though, a lesson in sadness? Though why do we need to learn to be sad, I am uncertain of that." She clicked her fingernails together at the tip of her chin, still trying to think. Was that answer good enough? Oh Jack why was she so paranoid? Her team hadn't done well to start, they were behind, and now they were answering questions? Still if everyone else wanted this than Chuppi was not going to raise her voice or concerns one way or another. She did have worry thought about Yin and Alex holding hands in front of the camera - would their parents be okay with their love for one another?
Perhaps that was a question she needed to ask them away from the crowds when it was no one's business but theirs to listen.

Taryn was somewhat worried that her team had become to focus of a small group of visitors; it didn't seem as if they'd given particularly sensational answers. At the same time, though, there was immense pride. Why her team, of all the students in the hall? She forced another small smile and nodded to Chuppi. Good, good. They were doing well.
"It seems as if the focus is on strength, personal strength and the strength of a team. Strategy is important as well, but the trials are about personal growth and proving oneself. It's a test. If anything, we've learned so far that anything can happen." Still attached to Mort, she looked to him for input.

Feeling Taryn's hand on his brought him back to reality, or at the least lessened the red haze threatening to take him over in his vision. Mort still appeared angry, though, as if to make sure the reporters new one of them was willing to forcibly clear a path if needed, aches or not. Subconsciously, he maneuvered so that at least one side of Chuppi was blocked from the onslaught, still keeping his hand on Taryn's shoulder - lest he begin to see if reporters really had brains to feed upon.
"Learn should not give up. Learn that should see silver line n' even defeat. N' learn leader is good at speeches." Mort was firm, still frowning, but proud nonetheless. "A-Also learn krakens're huge."

Alex had to laugh a little at Mort's responses, his large and bright smile flashing even as more pictures were taken. The second question...well, his team mates had about covered everything, but he felt like he was still supposed to contribute some sort of answer.
"I learned that zombies really aren't meant to spend an entire day in the hot sun, that krackens taste awful, and that when it comes down to it, I can actually be more of an asset to the team then a hindrance."
Alex wasn't at all concerned about being seen on camera holding hands with Yin. He was doing it to comfort the other boil, to let him know that he was right there, that this crowd wasn't going to separate them. It had very little to do with affection. If his family saw.....well, his mom already knew how he felt about Yin, so she could assume whatever she wanted. He could deal with it.

Had he learned anything from the trials? Well, anything important? He certainly was not going to respond with "I learned what having a face-full of breasts feels like."
"I learned that our team can work together," he finally answered. "And also to not wrestle in the sand." That apparently caused misunderstandings. He decided not to bore the interviewer with how he learned what the sea and beach looked like, how salty the water was, and how zomboils really were not meant to walk in sand. Nor had he learned that he had been a weak link, that was nothing new. That was just reconfirmed.
Now then they had reached the end of the hall (finally) and Yin was about to move forward to open the door when he realized...the school was barricaded off. There was only one way out of the hall, and it was back the way they had come. To top it all off it looked like someone was advancing on them, a answer-hungry look in their eye.

Taryn nodded and attempted to maneuver the team around to leave the school. If there was no way to get back to the dorms, or to the library or the gym, they were going to just have to go back and plan somewhere else, somewhere were nobody was going to be assaulting them and adding stress to an already taxing situation. The Honey Badgers were doing very well responding to the barrage of questions, the chimera was proud, but nobody wanted this right now. Unfortunately, as she moved to go she was met by a demon who thrust a microphone in her face, close enough to cause her to reel back some.
"I've heard rumours that the Heirs of the Four Clans reside in Amityville? Is this true? What are they like?"
Oh, Jack damn it. That was a difficult question. Would she be putting them in danger or, more likely, causing political turmoil, if she spoke the truth?
"I cannot speak for their residence, but I have met them. While I do not know them personally, I have found them to be intelligent, strong people and positive additions to our community." She'd have to do some research on political speeches.

"Heirs? Yo no se, I have never met any of them? Have seen them before perhaps but I do not know of them. Should I be treating them as anything else? They have come here as students like myself, nothing more and nothing less - your heritage matters not compared to the character of your person." Chuppi was still straggling back from the rest of the group, unsure if she should hold on to someone like everyone else. Seeing her friends group together made her realize just how lonely she was to not have a place in a relationship and her cheeks reddened with a hint of jealousy. She would have to keep it all quiet of course, just like her worries for her friends, and she paused in her step.
Pausing of course caused her to get swarmed! Soon more of the flashes were in front of her and she couldn't even see her companions, but she...what if she should cry out for them? That would look bad.

Alex looked quite dismayed, as the realization hit that they had hit a barricade and would need to turn around and go back out the way they came in. squeezing Yin's hand, he turned, and tried to tug him along the other way, but the hallway was just so crowded, and he was getting more camera's and microphones shoved into his face as yet more questions were bellowed from every direction.
A question about the heirs was asked, and Alex, having not been at the school for as long as Chuppi, Taryn, and Mort, actually knew very little about them, beyond the fact that they went to the school.
"I..I don't know any of them. Except for the few times I've seen them in the hallways or during an assembly, I've honestly had nothing to do with them." He answered, eyes suddenly landing on Chuppi, who was getting swallowed in the crowd. She looked upset, and uncomfortable, and Alex continued to pull on Yin while reaching out with his free hand to grab a hold of Chuppi's. He gave her a small smile, hoping she didn't mind. Now all they needed was for Yin to grab a hold of Taryn or Mort and they would all be alright.
This is insane... He thought to himself, now with a monster on each hand and no idea where to go.
