Saya arrived back at Deus, with a tiredness that far exceeded her small frame. But she didn't want to head back to her dorm yet. She still held Sandy's flashlight and usb in her hand, her fingers clenched tightly around it. Perhaps, a small peek before she gave it to the higher ups .. After all, if they gave it to them, even Saya knew they might not get any news back. Did she really want to give it to the higher-ups? Shaking her head, Saya reminded herself, she was a part of Deus. Theygave her life-- She should give it to them. Yet ..

Perhaps, just a small peek. Saya roamed through the Deus Ex hallway, wondering if there was a private room to check this out? Eventually, she came across a room with computers. It was Dues's library, fumbling in the dark to press the buttons on the computer. It was a temporary silence, waiting for the computer to start up and insert said usb.

What if it was Sandy's personal notes ;;;; Should Saya really be looking? Should anyone? EVen the higher-ups?

That last mission had shaken Deryk a fair amount. He was aware that hunters got killed and all, but... that was the first time he ever really 'witnessed' it. While he didn't see Sandy and Barney actually died, he really wasn't too far from them when it happened. A part of him wondered if things could have gone differently. The other wondered if Cael wanted it to end otherwise.

The trainees were the ones who were... disposable and all..

And what was that beast in there? Why didn't it show up on their scanners earlier? There was also a lot of talk about the horsemen as of late too..

Frowning, he made his way to the library. Maybe there could be answers there.

Though, he soon found that he wouldn't be alone there. There was already one other trainee inside. It was one of the few things he could see; the glow of the computer's monitor in the dark. A somewhat soothing sight for him. A nostalgic feeling too for that matter.

"Uh.. hey," he greeted quietly.

Ofelia had been looking at the note, over and over enough that she was actually getting sick of note understanding a damn thing that it meant. She'd never been good with puzzles or riddles, or anything involving a combination of the two, but she remember that there had been another girl there who had rooted through the bag and found something - a USB. Ofelia was tech-retarded and not ashamed to admit it, so maybe while getting help over the note she'd learn what a USB was.

She wandered around enough that she found her way back to the library, a place she'd only been to once before (Ofelia didn't really like reading), and she noticed two others in there - the girl from before and....was that...er...well, his name didn't really click in Ofelia's mind. She remembered he'd been there when she came out of the pod and he'd even taken her to get food but as it stood she couldn't place a name to the face. She was running over a list of possible names in her mind though she gave up by the time she came in, shaking her head and sighing somewhat. Too much thinking lately, not enough fun and adventure.

Plus she hadn't been sleeping but she was blaming that on the lack of night noise and not the nightmares. "Hey guys. This the place ta learn more from the book an' USB?" She wasn't really whispering, Ofelia didn't have tone control, but at least she was using an indoor voice.

Rep had gone back to his dorm after the mission, at least at first. But after a short time laying restlessly on his bed, he'd decided that no, this really really wasn't the way to deal with things at all. He just ended up thinking far too much about the whole thing. So he'd done the next best thing and gone for a walk. Maybe he could look up what the s**t that thing that had attacked them even was, maybe he could just find something, anything that would distract him.

So it was mostly by coincidence that he found himself at the library right around then, raising a brow as he peeked round the corner and spotted a few other hunters already there, ones he remembered from the mission. Seemed maybe he wasn't the only person who wanted to walk s**t off a bit. And they had one of the computers on. Curiosity was better than dwelling on his thoughts for ages. Besides, something had to be fairly important for people just out of a mission to be interested in it with urgency.

He headed inside looking grim and sat down anywhere there was space.

"Not butting in on private s**t am I?" he stated with a shrug, at the very least remembering enough about libraries to keep his voice down.

He still remembered Sandy’s face. In the back of Wilson’s mind he recalled his visit to the graveyard of KIA hunters, but it was nothing compared to see an actual death. There was a face connected to the name on the marker and there was a story to the death. If the monster hadn’t been terrifying enough, the two elder hunters’ faces would surely haunt him for a while. Wilson could almost imagine reaching out to Sandy. He had been next to her, after all. [Where are you going?] For once, his weapon spoke quietly, carefully, afraid to somehow trigger Wilson. No answer.

Wilson found himself walking backwards into the library. Blank eyes skimmed over the numerous books in the library before he finally turned around and stopped. Apparently he wasn’t the only one here. He managed a smile and half-nod to Deryk and Ofie, but the other girl he didn’t know, though he might have seen her a couple times around the island. The trainee moved toward the computers. “What’re you doing?” he asked quietly, but found a quick answer once he noticed the USB.

Saya nearly jumped in her chair, expecting a division leader to be there any minute to catch her red-handed in the act. But it was another trainee, it seemed. Her shoulders lowering, she turned partially in her chair.

".. Hi." Her quiet greeting was a little shy but it expressed a similiar weariness to the male, in the experience that had happened .. She didn't know how long ago, she just knew that the day wasn't yet over. It wouldn't feel over for a long time. "U-Um .. I'm .." How did she explain she was looking at possibly classified information? But he was a trainee too, he would understand! She clicked as she tried to speak, the words scrambling to find a way from her exhausted brain. What was this .. Oh! It led somewhere! The page loaded, the bright blue pop up asking for a password. Ofelia, Rep and other trainees were coming in.

"W-Well, this is the usb in Sandy's flashlight .. and.. I put it in."

Her voice, as soft as it was, carried across the empty library to entering trainees.

Ofelia spoke and Saya nodded. She raised a finger to her lips, her other hand gesturing to lower the volume. "We might get in trouble, if they hear us and find out."

"Y-You're not interrupting .. " There was a blank, as Saya realized, she didn't know Rep's name. "Can you keep a secret?" Saya gesture to the blue screen on the screen, asking for a password. Their conversation, although soft, was audible to entering hunters.

Sherry had already showered. Her original intention had been to take a long one, but the water just reminded her of the mission. So, she'd gotten that over rather quickly, and then decided to find something to take her mind off of things.

And what better place to do that than the library? It had books and computers. She could research something. She didn't know what...but anything could take her mind off of the day's events.

Upon entering the library, Sherry noticed something odd. It had people in it, quietly sitting around the computers. Not to unusual for a library. But they were trainees. Who had been in the cavern with her. What on earth were they doing here right now?

"What...What's going on here?" Sherry asked as she approached the small group, coming to stand behind Wilson. What could be so important to get them all here so soon after the mission?

He had not meant to even leave his dorm rooms, but he couldn't have gone for so long without food, and within a few hours he was making his way quietly down to the cafeteria.

His feet, however, did not take him there, and instead Gale found himself in the library, of all places.

His head hurt. And his chest, but for reasons other than what he was trying to admit to himself.

Tiredly he walked through the rows and rows of various books, his eyes taking in nothing at all -

...nothing, except for a familiar head of light colored hair sitting hunched over a computer. Gale, half unaware that he was already moving towards the figure, his expression one of complete vagueness as he said quietly to Saya "What are you looking for?"

Jinhai, for once, remained silent.

Rep gave Saya a nod and a grunt. He could definately keep a secret, he had hardly anyone on the island who he could speak to about anything, let alone spill secrets to. No, he was pretty much a sure bet as far as keeping gossip to himself went. "Aye. I can."

He eyed the screen with its popup with evident curiosity. "So do we have any idea what the password is for this s**t?"

And still more people arrived, he had to smirk, a good secret drew so many people in.

It was a party, apparently. Madison had been in the library already, poking through a bunch of crap, trying to find some answers - but the noise of the other trainees was distracting her. She'd come over with every intention of telling them to shut the ******** up... but her desire to do so had died entirely when she found out what they were doing.

"Yeah, keep it quiet," Madison told Saya, her voice low. "All of us gathering around one computer's gonna raise suspicions super high... maybe we should spread out a little bit..."

He had been looking at various movies to check out for him and Cass. So far, they had gotten through a good number of zombie movies and now were moving more into the crazy kill slasher flicks. 'Romantic' movie nights went by an odd definition for hunters sometimes. That and they just didn't have romantic movies in Deus, (not to mention Marcus wouldn't really want to watch them anyway). He thought the library was rather peaceful really, but of course, more bodies usually equaled more noise.

Movies in hand he followed the sounds, arriving at the gathering of trainees, raising an eyebrow at them. "If you guys are trying not to gather attention-" He sat himself down at a computer, turning it on. "The best way to do so is to look busy. That aside, what are you gathering here?" He'd caught a few words, but nothing substantial.

"Ah got a note outta the book Ah found in the bag. No idea what it means, Ah dun do puzzles an' s**t, but Ah fig'ur any of y'all might have an idea?" Ofelia pulled the note from her back pocket and held it in front of her face, her posture shifting so she could scratched the back of her leg with a foot. Turns out she'd gotten bitten by bugs after all and man that itched like crazy. Reminded her of home though, good times. "Ah wonder what the whole '1999' means. Sommin' important happen twelve years ago that has ta do wit' that mission we jus' did?"

Ofelia liked to state the painfully obvious.

"Secret? Yeah can keep secret. Secret not a problem," Deryk nodded before looking at the USB curiously. His attention shifted over to the screen though, as a password came on up. This was making him kind of tingly actually. The feeling of nostalgia hit him even harder.

"Oh man. Been so long since tried to hack into anything.." he said, sounding almost excited.

Though, he didn't have so much of a clue of what the password could be right now. He didn't really see any of the prior clues. That didn't matter.

"Sounds like something big happened. Has to be. Archive is on lockdown," he murmured, trying to think.

"Note? Hey, let me see that," Madison said, quickly switching targets to focus on Ofelia. She sidled over behind the other Hunter trying to get a look at the note. How could...

... it looked like the note from the North Pole.

"Gale. You still have that note from the North Pole mission, or did you turn it in?" she asked quickly, turning to the other Death Hunter.

Ofelia looked up as someone spoke to her and she held the note out, not really caring that this could be a trap. Everyone was nervous and whispering entirely too much and she was getting annoyed with having to keep her voice low but meh, that was typical Ofelia feeling while being inside a building. "Any idea what it really means?"
