Fleur kind of liked the dark. It made things look different than they did in the light, and it was good for games and things. It also reminded her of performing, the stage the only bright spot in a sea of darkness. You couldn’t really even see the people, just hear them. Normal night was like that, too. She wouldn’t say it sharpened her senses, just made her focus more on the ones she didn’t. Fleur liked the calm. Of course, she’d been more wary since a friend was mugged a few months back, and with the talk of terrorists… Who wouldn’t be nervous? She had yet to see anything herself, but she was being careful, trying not to walk alone at night.
But, you know, when you’re the only one you know auditioning for a certain play, you didn’t have much choice. Besides, she hadn’t done well, so she was already unhappy.
Suddenly, something ran across her path. She gasped. Pale eyes glowed at her from a tree. It was just a cat, but still. It wasn’t like Fleur to be paranoid. It was dumb. Fleur walked over to the cat and held her hand out to it, sighing. “I’m sorry… Didn’t mean to scare you. You’re not that scary, now are you?” she crooned. Deep inside, she felt something she refused to identify. But honestly, Fleur Willis was freaked.

Spica was patrolling quietly, it was not really the moment to do so with the flu going arround and the problem between the civilian and the senshi but well, youma never took holidays and with everyone sick a senshi who was able to stand on her leg was still usefull.
She didn't caught anything yet but she started feeling it, a youma was near, a small one, weak one but it was near. She looked arround, and she saw a girl trying to do something with a tree. When she looked closer she understood.
"If I were you I would move aside if you want to keep your hand" she said with a quiet and calm voice, it was not the time to make her panick but the youma was ready to attack.

Fleur was about to try petting the kitty, but she didn't really feel much better. Then she heard the steps of someone coming nearer. A voice told her to move aside, so she stepped back. "Oh, I'm sorry, is it your cat? It didn't scratch me or anything, though." She turned and saw a girl in a beautiful but kind of dumb outfit. The bodice and miniskirt would have been cute for something fancy, maybe, but paired with a huge bow, tall fancy stockings, vintage-looking gold shoes, and a crown.... Well, Fleur didn't know where she belonged. But you know, if it was her cat, it was her cat.
She glanced back at the cat, and gasped. The thing's eyes were bright red, and it looked angry. She stepped back and took a deep breath. Then she panicked. She didn't scream or speak, but she ran, grabbed the girl's hand and kept running. But as she thought about the monster, she remembered the news. It was filled with awful monsters... Near shiny people, always in bright outfits like this one. She dropped the girl's hand almost right away and kept running. Then she turned again, wondering why the girl would warn her if she was evil. She watched, but she didn't run back towards the monster. That would have been stupid.

Spica was kind of amused by the girl reaction, why she grasped her hand and made her run with her, it was kind of funny, but she would not laugh, because for human it was a logical reaction. She just waited for the girl to calm down and to release her to take care of the youma. She did soon.
With her bi-colored eyes she looked at the girl running, then turned back then stopped. Looked like it was ok to act now. The youma was a small one, not really dangerous, and not really powerful but it would have still being able to hurt the girl.
"Just wait here and don't move" she finally said, with a calm and clear voice. She was not speaking to a little child even if the girl was obviously scared so she just had a regular tone.
She formed a wax ball in her hand, a pretty ball, all round, and like if she had a lighter on her other hand she lighted it up with fire. It was not a firey hot wax ball, which she threw towards the youma who decided to jump outside the tree at that moment and who got burnt quite badly

Ordered to stay sill, Fleur froze. While terrified, Fleur was starting too feel a bit detached, and curious. What was going to happen next? Logically, the girl attacked the thing. But not in a normal way, of course. With a fireball, right out of a fantasy novel or something. When she threw it, Fleur screamed. Not for just one reason, though. She was helpless, overwhelmed, and near someone who obviously had really good weapons and not a lot of sense. She could hear the monster screaming back, still with a cat's voice. A shudder ran through her body as she slowly turned around. She wanted to get away without being noticed if she could. Then, two things hit her at once. The first was that she hadn't been killed by the cat monster. The second was that she had been ordered, long ago, to always say thank you. But she wasn't going to walk towards the action. The monster might even have been alive, still. She stood still and waited to see if she'd be noticed. But she heard herself saying, slowly, "Is it... dead?"

Sailor Spica was looking at what was a youma before. It always hurt her to see that animals were the easy target.
Then she turned back to the girl. Looking at her with her strangerly colored eyes and said with a reasurring voice "Yeh it is over now. Are you hurt anywhere ?"
Spica was a super senshi already, it was not her first youma and not her last, but she usually never acted in front of humans so she was not quite sure how things will turn. She knew lot of humans didn't like them, and she saw with her own eyes how much they can hurt with just some word so she tried to use the most calm and conforting voice she could. Same goes for her eyes which had the color of a candle, she tried to not look to fiercy.

Fleur blinked very slowly. She took a deep breath and tried very hard not to panic. Other than that, though, she stayed perfectly still. "Um... I'm ok. I'm not hurt." She smiled weakly, but inside she was pretty scared, because either she was going crazy or she was alone with a seriously weird person. After all, who acted like monsters were normal? Well, she had seen the news, the blurry pictures of strange creatures and, of course, the terrorists in their bright clothes. She hadn't really believed any of it, except that maybe there was a gang or something, but... maybe it was true. "Thank you for saving me." she added politely. Ok, now she could leave without feeling guilty. She started to back away slowly. "You're pretty strong." she added. Crazy people liked compliments, right? Anything that made her want to leave Fleur alone was good. Though, she had to admit she was kind of curious. She stopped.
