Fin'lay had made it back to her homeland while it was still light out which meant that the members of the pride were all still asleep. Which in this case was good. Not to long ago she had ventured off to scope out the land surrounding the pride alone. Which had been a slight cause for turmoil with the guards but thankfully they let her go with to much of a fuss. However, on that journey she met a male named Viktor and well, things happened. Things in the form of cubs. This of course prolonged her trip. When the cubs had finally been born she tracked down the male in his pride and allowed the cubs that wished to go with him to do so. To her surprise three decided to stay with her.

However, now as she looked at their small faces she could not imagine ever parting with them. Even now her heart longed to know of the three other cubs. But she knew they would be well taken care of and after all, she had three in front of her that needed attention. Smiling Fin'lay gently licked at the two cubs heads. How was it possible that they got so dirty? And how quickly too! "My you get dirty quick." She said with a teasing voice as she licked at her two cubs, Finnabarr and Mahon. The other cub (will add her name later) had apparently been completely tuckered out. Fin'lay had taken her to the den area and let her sleep in silence and out of the sun. She could only smile as her son protested against the cleaning.

Mahon had more or less been in awe since the first moment they landed in the pride lands. His blue eyes scanned every tree and rock, as if somehow he could memorize every minute detail. "M'a!" Mahon said when he felt his mothers tongue brush over his tuft of mane. "I m'ay be a'wee lad, but I dun'be needin ya ta clean me." He said in full scottish accent which somehow managed to slip through now and then despite his mothers lack of an accent. Mahon of course cared very little. Turning his attention to his sister now the small cub gently nudged her shoulder with the back of his paw. "D'ya believe this lass? We ain't that dirty!" Mahon frowned and glared at his mother for a moment before smiling at his older sister. "Well I ain't. Can't be sayin' the same thing about you lass." He said, mimicing his mothers joking.

Finnabar had been silent for much of the last leg of the trip, an excitement welling up in her bosom in a fashion she certainly hadn't expected on hearing that they were going "home." The choice between going with her father or staying with her mother had been an easy one. She was already showing the particular trait of being a feline who erred on the side of caution and she had no idea who the male was, even if he fathered her.

She purred lightly as her mother ran her rough tongue across her forehead, hardly minding the fact that their mother was lightly teasing them. She was glad she had decided to stay.

She yawned and blinked owlishly at her thickly accented brother. She was much like her mother in the sense that she didn't have much of an accent, but she did sometimes imitate her slightly younger brother.

"I dinnae, lad, y'be lookin' a wee bit messy t'me, y'ken?" She jibbed, a grin slowly stretching across her small muzzle.

Fin'lay smiled when she heard her daughters soft purr. "Mahon, stop bullying your sister." She laughed, pulling Finnabar closer to her and continuing to clean the small cub. It was highly likely that her son would be quick to make himself dirty and she was not keen on having her work wasted within 2.5 seconds. Then again, it really wasn't that big of a deal.

And then Mahon had begun his silent tantrum. Quickly she pulled him close to her and began to clean him as well, forcing the siblings to be close together. "Why is it Mahon you try to start fights with your sisters? You clearly don't hate them."

Mahon huffed as his sister imitated him. She sounded even better then he did! "Pfft." He replied, turning his head and brooding a bit. "You. Are. Cruel." He said with very little hint his accent. "Sisters are cute but they are tough to deal with." He sighed, still brooding. However he quickly stopped when his mother pulled him close, forcing him to be side by side his sister while they were getting cleaned. "Fin, enjoy'in 'yerself?" He asked, slightly calmer and more pleasant to deal with. A frown came across his lips. "I DUN BE 'JOYIN NO WUMMUN!" Clearly that was a lie.

Finnabarr partially closed her eyes, relishing in the bath that her mother was giving her, and was hardly bothered when Mahon was pushed closer to her. As combative as he could be, he was still her brother and she loved him dearly, even if they bickered now and again.

"Pffff, stow your gab, you're likin' it and I know it." She chuckled, slightly opening one chocolate eye to look over her rather unhappy sibling. Why was it such a big deal? Ah, well, no matter. She'd think of something fun for them to do, once their mandatory bath was over. Maybe that'd cheer him up a bit. Games were always fun and she was sure he'd be game... If he refused and she showed him up, his pride might be injured, after all! She grinned gleefully to herself as she turned ideas over in her mind.

Fin'lay continued to purr softly as she cleaned her children of the dirt and other things that they had crossed path with along the way here. Her ear's listened attentively to her children though she appeared to not be listening at all. Her mind was off in her thoughts of how she would tell the pride about what had happened. She knew that most of them would not have any quarrels with the arrival of these cubs but she felt unease in her chest build over the prospect of telling Kumonryu when she finally saw him again. Somehow she got the feeling that he would probably be the first one she saw that day and in fact that would hold true. All she could do was hope that he would accept them and love them just as much as she did. Though, she wasn't sure why she felt the need for him to do so. It wasn't like they were mates or anything like that. No, she knew why. Kumo was the only lion she had ever loved and continued to love even though he was none-the-wiser to it.

Gently, Mahon nosed his sister before letting out a breath from his nose into her hair. "I dunnae about y'wee lass." He said before smiling and rubbing his nose through her tuft of hair. "I guess I'be keepin'ya around for the time be'in." Mahon purred very loudly (as he wasn't really capable of controlling it yet) before he very gently bit at her ear, trying very hard not to hurt her in the least. Yes, he did love his sister. Even when he pretended to hate her, he was incapable of actually doing so. Even if she didn't know, Mahon wouldn't let anything ever harm her, or their sister Deheune.

To say that Finnbarr was happy would have been an understatement. She'd never felt warmer or more loved than she did now, being so nestled between her mother, sister, and brother. She continued to purr, much like a tiny, little motor. She was completely and blissfully unaware of the worry that was building within her mother's heart and happily so.

A tiny giggle escaped her as her brother ran his nose through the tuft of fluff atop her head and exhaled. His tiny teeth latched to her ear in a manner that cubs often did and it hardly felt more than like pressure as he gently held it. She pulled against his grip slightly in a playful fashion, placing her paw, tiny claws sheathed, against his chest. Her tail flicked against him as she chuckled, her lips parted in a broad and toothy grin.

"Mighty tough talk coming from you~"
