 It was a comfort to be entering the forest again. The young stallion --taking after his family-- was prone to wandering, though they all continued to return to the same spot keeping connected. Adrian was annoyed having recently left a family gathering. The lovey-dovey understanding between the other members of the family consisting of 3 lifemated pairs, was the driving factor of Adrian's unrest and personal rebellion. He felt like it was expected of him to settledown like they all had and be all devoted and have a family of his own. It's not that Adrian didn't like the idea but it was the pressure. Here in the forest though was quiet and a lovely mare that he dared to call a friend. They had run into each other on several occassions and he found her a very interesting companion to share stories and troubles with. With a lighter-heart Adrian moved through the shade of the trees and hoped it wouldn't be long before he ran into her... Sakura.

((I am super super sorry I have taken so long to reply. I was super excited about this RP and all, and still am xD Just got busy family-wise for a couple of weeks. I promise to reply faster in the future! Once again, sorry.))
Sakura was out doing the one thing she loved above all others: taking a long stroll through her portion of the woods. It was her way of satisfying that curious urge she had to explore, without going past her comfort zone of leaving her home for extended periods of time. She knew this area like the back of her hand, so it wasn't really exploring, but it helped quell the insatiable itch to go out.
Her eyes were half-shut as she trotted along, her leonine tail providing balance by swaying from side to side. She could pick up the trill of birdsong, occasionally accentuated by the familiar call of Tinsel, her familiar. The hummingbird was probably off darting through the trees, staying just out of sight. She was an odd one, that Tinsel. A shy creature who refused to talk Soquili even though she was perfectly capable of it, yet happily bonded to Sakura. The two had figured out a way to make their relationship work though, with the mare being able to figure out most of the bird's intentions without the need for words.
The snap of a twig make Sakura's eyes open, telling her there was another nearby. Her ears were pricked upwards, halting mid-stride for a moment. Then a familiar black and gray shape stepped through between the trees. A large grin painted her features in joy, ashen eyes dancing with excitement. "Adrian!" Her stiffly held body relaxed as she put her feet back on the ground, ruffling her wings into a more comfortable position.
Adrian was one of the few souls who came to visit the forest often enough, unlike others who just tended to pass through, and the two had a good sense of companionship between them. She had grown to both enjoy and anticipate their next meetings, even if they were far and few between.

Phail Ninja Sorry its so short but I wanted to get something up here to get things rolling It did not take nearly as long as expected to run into the alicorn and he grinned happily at the sound of his name. "Sakura, its lovely to see you," a certain relief colored his tone. He paused to allow her to settle herself. "It feels like we run into each other sooner every time I'm in the area. Is it some kind of alicorn magic that you know I'm around?" he chuckled and moved closer offering a friendly nuzzle.

"If it is, it's not one I'm aware of!" She chuckled gently, eyes shining with joy. It was so easy to be herself around Adrian, she'd even been able to confide all her dreams and fears to him. Her nose found his, rubbing together in a gentle greeting. Friends like him were few and far between, he was closer to her than most of the scattered remains of her family. "Maybe you just know me too well, always know where to find me!"
Sakura bounced backwards, her tail swishing behind her with excitement. "How've you been? What brings you round here, apart from my excellent company of course?" She gave him a quick wink, her attitude light and jovial. It was hard not to enjoy herself in his presence, especially on such a nice day.
Tygress Dream Going to tag this because I really like this RP, even if I completely failed at it xD Are you still up for the other RPs between Sakura and Adrian's family? x3 I know we talked about it, but it's been a while! (Also, don't worry if you can't respond now, I mean I spent over a year on this tag XD)
