Hi everyone,
I'm new to Gaia, but I'm not new to RPing. I just haven't RPed in a while (school got crazy @__@).
I have a bunch of characters that I have ready-made. In this thread I'm going to expand on them, making their stories a little more in-depth. So far I have four, two of which can be played human or something else (you will see what I mean).
In case you read these profiles and they make you want to RP with me, I prefer Literate to Advanced, in-thread RPs. I have no preference between 1-on-1 or group RPs. The genres I prefer are fantasy/action/adventure/romance. I usually don't do anything with explicit sex in it, girl/girl or boy/boy romance (not a hate thing, just uncomfortable), sci-fi, future, school/family settings.
Okay, I think that's everything, enjoy this thread I guess, I'll keep working on it until the profiles are to my liking :3

Rachael Fayt Age 16 Gender Female Race Human Height 5'3" Build Athletic Hair Down to her mid-back, jet black, shiny Eyes Deep purple Likes to wear Tank tops and miniskirts with tights and grey leather knee-high boots Sexuality Straight Personality Very mellow, but in an almost sad way; her smiles are small, her laughs are soft. She tends to avoid doing unnecessary things, unless she feels like being reckless or feels desperate. She is very hopeful and optimistic despite the way she acts. She is addicted to walking aimlessly and wandering around in forests, thinking about anything and everything. She is very intelligent and analytical but she comes off as an innocent flake a lot of the time. History Born into a strange family in Philadelphia, she has been trained from a young age to wield a sword that is almost as big as her. When she asked why she had to go through such rigorous training, her uncle just told her it was so she could be prepared for whatever happens and that she is the only one in her generation that can wield it the way it should be. She hasn't mastered the sword just yet, but now at least the training has decreased enough for her to be able to do things after school like hang out with friends (or wander through the nearby wilderness). The real reason why she was being trained (that she doesn't know about yet) is as a backup to the family's supernatural bodyguards; she has never met one but they are trained to protect her, and the entire family, from unknown enemies. Dreams One day she wants to know the truth behind all her family's secrets, especially the ones surrounding her sword. She wants to go to college and study English. Hobbies Walking, exploring forests, writing, practicing with her sword Weapon A five foot long silver sword. It is skinny and on the thin side, but it is heavy. It has a bright blue line running straight down the middle of it. Fighting Style Swordplay and kicking Weaknesses It is easy for her to lose balance with the sword, and once she drops it, she is semi-open because all she has left are her legs to fight with.

Laura McAbee Age 24 Gender Female Race Human Height 5'5" Build Athletic, slim Hair Shoulder-length, brown Eyes Bright green Likes to wear Tank tops and jeans. In ALL types of weather. Sexuality Straight. Personality She's hyper, fast-talking, easily excitable, and has very strong emotions. She's a passionate person, very empathetic. History Her life has been pretty normal. She was born in New York CIty, had an average childhood (both parents, very loving and supportive), went to high school and college, did well, and now she has her own place that she spends most of her time in. Her father trained her in martial arts so she could protect herself from random crazy criminals. Dreams To be happy, maybe one day have a family of her own that's just as loving as hers is. Hobbies Reading, walking, practicing martial arts, running Weapon Her fists and knees Fighting Style Mixed martial arts Weaknesses She has very bad balance, so she will end up falling down regularly.

Prone to random bursts of excitedness, she can be calm one moment and jumping off the walls (literally) the next. Despite this seeming flakyness, she is very calculating, smart, and quick-witted. She's more likely to be accidentally rude than too nice to someone, unless she wants to feed on them (more on that later). She's a very very curious person, and loves getting to know other people. History It is unknown whether she was born or turned, but for 100 years she has lived near the edge of a small town in Pennsylvania. She goes to school just to keep up the appearance of being a normal human so that she is able to protect her family. She has been trained to be one of her family's bodyguards since she was tall enough to hold her sword without falling over. Speaking about her family, she is the strongest in her entire generation, and this power allows her to have a deep bond with her sword, activating its true potential. Dreams To live long enough to see what the world will be like in a thousand years, to talk person-to-person with a human family member without them mentioning her protective duties. A blue line runs down the middle of it and glows when it is with her, evidence of her power and bond with the sword. Fighting Style Swordplay, fists, kicking Weaknesses When she needs to drink, she is very distracted and becomes increasingly weak (hitting softer, moving slower) as time passes. Her appetite is very...healthy.
