Another day dawned bright and early for the young green lioness. It was another day of wandering and exploring the general area of the home den and hotsprings. And this time Karroo even had her mom's permision to wander un-supervised, well sort of. She knew that if at any point help was required a quick call would bring in the reinforcements. But she still reveled in the apparent freedom that the day was ment to be.
It was not yet noon and the young lioness was a decent distance from the last hotspring and she still had the rest of the day to herself. Karroo didn't feel like practice hunting, either plants or animals. She just felt like playing so that was what she decided to do. She scrambled across the rocky, grassy terrain occationally play battleling imaginary foes and just having fun in general.

Kaori_luv Yamile herself hadn't quite made it to the hotsprings yet, but she could smell the water and after a short nap, she fully intended to take a nice long soak. This place was very peaceful and she had to admit she was enjoying the senery. She currently lounged in a tree trying to have a lie about, but she been awoken by what seemed to be a cub who was playing. The white winged lioness watched the cub with a smile, thinking how carefree the cub seemed at the moment.
She did not wish to disturb the cub, just watched with a smile.

Karroo had just reached one of the few trees that grew in the general area of the hotsprings when a vision flashed across her minds eye. Her entire body paused and focused inwards...
A tree, this tree, standing strong under the sun but not alone. In the branches a white figure lounged. A lioness with dark markings. She, the lioness, streached out more. The branch shaking beneath her, making her correct her balance. She over balances.... gravity takes affect. Like a falling star the lioness falls from the tree.
Karroo never actually saw the lioness from her vision land on the ground but she did know that she could stop it from happening at all. She glanced up and sure enough, just like in her vision, a white lioness was streached out on one of the tree's main branches. "Um might I suggest you not streach out anymore. That branch isn't quite as stable as you think." Wether the lioness takes her warning to heart Karroo couldnt tell but she felt obligated to warn her none the less.

Kaori_luv Yamile looked surprised at the cubs sudden comment as the she hadn't thought the cub knew she was there. She looked curiously at the cub, but did as she said and stopped stretching out. "How did you know I was here, if you do not mind me asking? You seemed pretty occupied before, I was almost certain you hadn't seen me." More truthfully, Yamile had been completely certain the little cub hadnt seen her, but now of course she had apparently been wrong.

Karroo wasn't entirely sure how to answer the lionesses question. On one hand she could say that she 'saw' her but that would leave questions asked that the green juvenile would prefer to keep unanswered. On the other she could just say that she spotted her which made her conscience twinge with even thinking of such a lie. Both her mother and her father taught her about lieing and how she shouldn't do it but Karroo really hated to explain to others about her 'ability'.
After a moment or two of her hesitating she decided to go a third way. Not necessarily lieing but not telling the whole truth either. "I saw you sort of and I know that tree isn't terribly strong so I figured I should warn you."

Kaori_luv Yamile frowned slightly not understanding what the little meant by saw her sort of. Was it out of the little ones eyes. She really didn't think so, "Well thank you. If it isn't too strong I guess I was lucky to get up here then wasn't I?" She stood very carefully, making sure not to stretch out to much or move too suddenly before making her way back down to the grass. "You must have some amazing sight little one because I was watching you play and you didn't look up, or at least I'm pretty sure you didn't."

Karroo smiled slightly. "It can take some movement but I think that tree's had issues with bugs so too much can cause the branches to snap unexpectedly." All of this was true but not completely accurate, Karroo had no idea if the insects had weekend the branch or a storm or if the branch really just couldn't take the jostling that would have resulted had the lioness stretched out any more.
"Its a 'gift' alright." Her voice practically dripped sarcasm as Karroo thought back to the other times her sight had affected her. There were many times she was playing with others, travelers in the area, when she saw a potential fall or other preventable calamity. If she said something they always asked how she knew and eventually the conversation circled to her mom and that was when the 'she's a goddess?' feeling came into the air. It was annoying and frustrating to forever be seen as a god's daughter, someone special because of her mother not because of herself. And lets not forget the whole interest in Karroo to glean information about her mother so they can then 'befriend' her mom. And the few times she couldn't say anything or wouldn't say anything the sight came true and Karroo felt horrible so she normally said something only to deal with the aftermath.

Kaori_luv Yamile nodded sitting with the young cub, easily excepting the explanation about the tree and the bugs. She of course wouldn't know because she was not from around the area, but it hardly mattered in the long run. Yamile was safe on the ground and the tree wasn't really of consequence at the moment. She frowned when the little one seemed none to happy about her gift and it confused Yamile slightly fore she got the feeling that she was missing out on something important. She sighed lightly, "It can't be that bad. You seem upset by it, but it kept me from a nasty fall so to me it's a blessing." Yamile smiled at the little one looking down at her. "I am Yamile. It's nice to meet you, little one."

Karroo glanced away, "Yeah but if you always see things that always lead to questions that you would prefer not to answer would you truly look upon such a thing as a blessing?" Karroo knew that her thoughts were not truly fair to herself and others since there were those who appreciated her visions and didn't bother to search for the reason behind them. She was still wary though, the problems always seemed to outweigh the benefits of such a 'gift'.
"Its nice to meet you to Yamile. I'm Karoo." Manners were always appreciated and her mom would be quite disappointed if she didn't introduce herself as well.

Kaori_luv Yamile laughed and smiled, "I would see it as a blessing because if I did not wish to answer question about it then I wouldn't. Its all in how you see it." She nodded at the little one's name, "It's very nice meet you as well Karoo. I think your gift is special, but I won't question you on it. It doesn't really matter how you kept me from a fall, so much as that you did." She grinned, "you were playing before, care to tell me what?"

Karroo hadn't thought of it that way. Just don't answer? It hadn't occurred to Karroo that she was not obligated to answer every question posed to her. "You have a point Yamile, I think next time I shall just pretend I didn't hear the question." Her smile was bright and more then just a little relived.
She nodded back at Yamile, glad that the older lioness didn't really care how she knew that a fall would have occurred. Even at such a young age Karroo knew that others such as Yamile were far and in between. Most had to question everything and wanted to know how everything worked. She focused back on the present when Yamile asked her another question. "Hum? Oh, what was I playing? Nothing really just pretending. I want to be a great fighter like my daddy but not just any fighter, a fighter for good. I will be a lioness who will only protect those that need protecting. I will only raise a paw in the defense of another." She sat up straighter and spoke with more conviction than she had so far. That is until she smiled ruefully and giggled slightly, "Or at least that is what I'm going to try to be. Momma doesn't mind my ambitions but she says that if I must be a great fighter then I also need to be at least a competent healer."

Kaori_luv Yamile was happy to hear Karoo agree with her and she hoped her advice would make the cubs future a little easier. She felt she had done the cub a good service, just then, but hearing about Karoo ambitions she figured she could go one step further. "Your mother is of course right. It will help you in the long run, but if you like I can help you right now and maybe for a while. If you want to be a great warrior then you need to train, to be fast, strong, brave and stealthy. I can help you try to achieve those things if you like."

Karroo nodded. The young cub knew that her mother was right. After all her mom always joked around that in order to put someone back to together you first need to know how to take them apart. At least Karroo figured her mom was joking. The white lioness was also correct in what it took to be a great warrior but there was only so much that Karroo could do on her own. Training with her siblings was difficult since none of them really wanted to train with her and while she trained with her father it seemed lately like he was distracted. And her mother was always busy although according to her brother, Mat, she is less busy then she was when he was a cub.
Knowing all this still Karroo hesitated, Yamile seemed nice and was likely genuinely nice. She seemed to know her stuff and would likely be able to teach her a lot. But if Karroo agreed it would mean that Yamile would be spending much more time in the area then she would necessarily if Karroo did not say yes. Still... the young cub wanted to learn so with a hesitant nod she agreed only adding, "That is if you don't have anything else you have to do."

Kaori_luv Yamile smile, "It's okay. Im just traveling, going no where in particular. i have time to stop and help you. Plently of time. We can even start now if you like." She gave a smile and pointed a flower tree not to far off. "We can have a race to help build your muscles. To that tree and back."

Karroo was glad and her smile showed it. "Ok. I bet I can almost beat you if not actually beat you to the tree." She got up but hunkered down, her paws digging into the ground for better traction. "Ready..... SET..... GO!" She took off in the direction of the tree. The ground apparently flying under her paws, at least to her. This was going to be fun. A broad smile played on her face.
