Spinning blades lashed out again and again as the lone figure moved through the run-down, falling apart house. Slash, a creature falls, a bright red line across its neck. Spin, hack, kick. Another goes flying with an arm missing. The creature stood up, hissing and tried to attack again, but received a sword through its spine and Mars's grinning face in its face.
"Curse you vampire," Mars spat as he kicked the creature away and swung back his shield, catching another in the face with the small spikes. Spinning his sword overhead, it entered into the head of the last vampire, splitting the head down to the neck. Scowling, Mars pushed the vampire away as he felt a breeze against the back of his neck. As he swung back around, a powerful blow struck his sword hand and his blade went spinning away as the vampire's had closed around his throat.
"You slaughtered my kin human, and for that, I will make you my slave for all eternity."

Athena watched as the human hunter spiraled through the vampire house with grace and skill.
'The reports did not over-estimate his skill as I feared. Though his tendancy to ignore orders could become a issue if allowed to continue unchecked.'
Tilting her head she watched as the hunter was caught unware from behind.'That would be my cue, I do hope this goes painlessly.'
Flipping down from the roof she had been stationed on she walked up to the duo and spoke.
"I do hope that you will excuse me gentlemen but I am afraid that Mars and I have a pressing engagement at this time, I do hope you will allow us to leave without issue.
She pushed a white curl of hair behind her ear and smiled at the vamipre and hunter.

The vampire and Mars both looked at the newcomer. The very sight of her made Mars hope just a little, that he could get out of this house alive.
The vampire however, hissed and tightened his grip on Mars before moving the human between him and the newcomer.
"You," the vampire hissed, looking over Mars's shoulder. "I've heard about you and your kind. You're not welcome here cursed one."
With a flick of his hand, the vampire threw Mars at Athena, sending the big man flying with ease before turning to run.

Grabbing Mars before he could slam into her Athena tilted her head and studied the hunter in front of her.
"Are you injured?" Though she could see no wound there may broken bones or other less obvious problems.
Turning her head slightly she watched as the vampire feld and was a little disapointed.
"My name is Athena and Command sent me here to be your partner."

He shook his head and retrieved his sword. "I'm fine," he said, wiping his blade on a dead vampires clothes before turning to the young woman.
"So, Command are finally pulling their asses into gear and doing something. Though, sending a girl to do the job seems like a stupid move even for them." He paused and tilted his head slightly. Something about her seemed to trigger the urge to kill in him, but no where near the levels that vampires do.
Adjusting his shield and getting a better grip on his sword, he pointed with his weapon after the vampire. "If you're with me, we may as well finish off this minor noble house. They cannot he allowed to regenerate."

Athena smiled softly "You are correct in that, I feel that there will be enough troubles on the road ahead for us without adding a noble out of our blood."
She gave no reaction to the insult other than a disaproving look.
Sky blue eyes tracked the nobel. "Shall we go?"
~looks wise i see her sd 16 years old janelle from the dark jewels, but with white hair.~

((Sweet, will keep that in mind. I'd say think of Gideon for Mars. Seems about best for me.))
Mars nodded to her and started walking after the noble. Something about the way he now kept glancing at Athena unnerved Mars a little, though not much. It was probably just that she was a mage or something, though she seemed to catch him easily enough when he was thrown. Maybe there was something else.
Shield raised, he entered the room the noble had vanished into before Athena. As soon as he stepped through, a vampire threw itself at him, only to receive Mars's shield to its face, then sword in its gut.

~Nice, it goes well with the character too~
Athena watched and study Mars as he entered the room and disbatched a vampire before stepping aside to let her in.
'Hmm, there seem to be more vampires here than previouslt believed. We need to eliminate the entire house if we wish to get away clean."
She turned towards the only other door and begun walking towards it.

Mars, not wanting the girl to potentially get hurt, followed her. The house was by far one of the smaller vampire houses, yet it was still bigger than the biggest human house. The mansion sprawled and he could hear vampires gathering somewhere nearby, but couldn't sense where they were.
As Athena opened the door, the door at the opposite side of the room slammed open and a trio of vampires charged in to meet Mars, while a pair sprung at Athena.

"Nano machine Crusnik O4 - power output 40% activate" Athena would have prefered to get to know Mars a little better before transforming in front of him but she had little choice now.
As the power flowed through her the changes flooded over her body. Once sky blue eyes now glowed blood red, white curls now flowed upwards as though ignoring gravity. Nails turned into blade like talons and the face that was before merely pale was now ashen grey, the lines turning harder. Small fangs showed in the cold smile.
For a moment it seemed like demons wings flared out from her shoulders, they faded and two beautiful curved long knifes appeared in her hands, they glistened and seemed to those that looked upon them to be made of crystallised blood.
“Come dance with me” She moved as she spoke. Faster than humanly possible she glided next to the vamp and swung her blade into his neck cleanly taking off his head.

Bloody hell, what did they send me? Mars, in mid spin, noticed Athena move faster than anything he'd witnessed before, moving those weird blades of hers as if they were just extensions of her arms.
Completing his spin, his shield caught a vampire in the face and his blade another in the stomach before he caught a slash across his right shoulder. It was shallow, but still painful enough to cause him to falter for a split second. Which didn't matter, because it was the vampire he had slashed across the stomach that was the only one to take advantage of his faltering, but it was preoccupied. He finished it off with a backhand blow as he braced his shield against more attacks.

Spining to the side Athena gracefully avoided the other vampires attack and danced forward faking to the left she then slid her blade between the ribs and into the heart.
She held the blade there for a moment, allowing the vampires blood to flow into it and then into her. For less than a heartbeat she lost herself in the pleasure of feeding. Then the scent of human blood - so different to that of vampires filled the room.
She spun to face Mars and saw him injured with two vampires still standing agaist him. Blurring with speed she flowed to his side and readied her blades against the duo.

A rush of air and Athena was suddenly at his side, hair floating around and blades blood red in her hands. Shrugging it off for now, he launched his attack, somewhat confident that she would attack as he did.
Rushing with his shield, his sword went down and then straight out, impaling the vampire who was preoccupied with his shield. A quick flourish back and over his head had his sword beheading the vampire. He glanced at Athena to see how she was doing.

A spiralling blade severed the vampires torso from his legs. A quick scan of the room confirmed that all targets had been eliminated and she deactivated the nano machines in her blood.
“You are injured. Can you continue with the mission?” She tilted her head as the studied her partner, going over her first aid training in her mind.

Mars nodded once, sharply. It almost felt like taking orders from a superior, but she was much smaller than him. Shrugging the feeling off, he continued through the house slowly, letting Athena either take the lead or fall back. Occasionally she would enter a room before him and any vampires in there would be dead, sliced to pieces. The only thing he noticed, when he did notice it, was that some of them looked like they had aged a few decades. Their skin sagged and wrinkling around the edges. He didn't pay much attention to it though. There was killing to be done.
The last noble stood in their dinning hall at the end of the table. He stood, staring at the odd pair as they entered the other end of the hall from him.
"Seeing as how you have obliterated all of my progeny, its only fitting that you and your abomination kill me too."
Jumping up onto the table, the vampire approached, not touching any of the elaborately set up dinnerware.
Without hesitation, Mars jumped onto the table, scattering plates and cutlery everywhere. His actions brought a snort from the vampire. "And you humans have the hide to think you're better than us."
"Never claimed such a thing myself," he said, charging down the table towards the vampire.
