~Yuuka Kazami~
Another sunny day. Yuuka Kazami stepped off the porch of her mansion, parasol hooked on her arm, her boots dipping slightly into the soft soil the field was famous for. A line of empty soil cut a path through the sunflowers, who stood tall and proud, swaying ever so slightly in the gentle, warm breeze. "This weather will do you good, my darlings." Yuuka spoke to a sunflower by her side, caressing a hand across its petals. "It's not often the world is blessed by such beauty. Let those who come witness the awe and majesty of my Sunflowers." She left the sunflower to its own, and proceeded down the dirt pathway.
It had been quite some time since any incident occured. Indeed, not even the most foolish of youkai or humans dared to step foot into her garden in the recent months. This was probably for the better, however, as chasing away intruders was quite bothersome. Yuuka had come to accept that loneliness was standard for a Youkai of her age and power. She wondered if, perhaps, individuals befriended each other in order to make up for their own shortcomings? Dismissing the thought, Yuuka gazed up at the bright blue sky, another gentle wind blowing across the field. Catching a sun ray, she opened her parasol and rested it over her shoulder. "All flowers..." she spoke, perhaps to the earth itself,
"Need someone to tend to them."

Ibara Hinasaru~ Secretive Bartender(OC) She was fairly new to Gensokyo's public population. Her underground actions had brought her to think living with humans would not be a bad idea. Club Youkai had opened its doors, but it was empty. Utterly Annoyed, she had decided to go sightseeing.
Her first stop: That legendary field with youkai and flowers.
Ibara was no human, that was true, but she was nothing like her race, having rejected it long ago. She walked to the hill that over saw the field."How beatiful." She muttered, with a jump, and practiced skill, she slid to the bottom, sending some grass out of place, but otherwise silently.
Once in the field she strolled around, whistling, she wondered who would roam this field....

~Yuuka Kazami~
The morning brought along the same repetitive dullness; tending to the garden, ensuring the upkeep of the grounds. Everything was where it should be. As usual. Yuuka gazed at the sun, its position in the sky allowing her the time of day. Noon had nearly arrived, and with it, came about another ritual: Food. It was time to return home for a small break.
Collecting her basket, full of tools and the morning's careful prunings, Yuuka made her way along the dirt path that would eventually lead home. It was soon after that she came across a figure in the distance. This figure, a girl, seemed to be taking in the sights of the garden... What an amusing turn of events. Maybe this day will be fun after all? Yuuka moved toward the girl with a casual stride, her parasol casting a shadow over her face.
"Enjoying yourself?" She asked the girl, wearing a pleasent smile. "May I ask what you're doing here?"

Ibara looked over her shoulder at the sudden voice behind her. A youkai or a human?
"Ah, yes, quite. From where I come from its almost impossible to grow flowers," she nodded, putting her hands in her pockets as she turned to face the woman. Seeing her face was difficult because of the parasol, "I am guessing you are one of the many Youkai who live here?"

Yuuka gave no reply to the girl's question.
"A place where flowers do not grow? I can hardly imagine how...ugly it must be." Yuuka moved beside the girl, placing the basket down and running her free hand under the petals of a sun flower. "This garden is my pride and joy, but you should be weary." She tipped the parasol back, giving full view of her face. She glanced at the girl, whose body language was quite carefree.
"People say this place is dangerous. Humans, and even Youkai, tend to avoid my garden. In fact, you're the first person I've seen wandering these fields in quite some time."

"Its is a bare place, yes, but home is home, though i can call it so anymore," Ibara responded, her hands tucked into her pockets, her look was a appreciative of the flowers.
"Rigtful to be proud of this garden," the misterious girl nodded," They are quite a sight, one that very few can see in centuries." Her words sounded tome weathered, and distant as she observed the gardener caress her flowers.
"I hear so." she smiled sligthly," I hear of migthy youkai around this place, what a shame, danmaku collateral damage~"
She snickered,"But I hardly fear death, much less youkai, and humans are little ants. I am relatively new to this parts of Geneokyo, so I thought some sigthseeing would be good~"

((kk, good luck!)) ~Yuuka Kazami~
"Oh? If your claims are true, you must be quite strong." Yuuka turned towards the girl, her smile unwavering. "Well, mere tourists like yourself are not welcome in my garden."
Yuuka closed her parasol and stamped it downward into the ground between them, her hands crossed and fingers interwoven across the handle, just as a King might plant his sword as a show of authority. "You should consider yourself fortunate, as I'm feeling generous today. I'll let you off easy, if you play a little game with me..."
Every sunflower within visable distance turned towards the women, their "eyes" casting and eerie gaze across their stage. "Allow me to entertain you, O' strong one, and let me witness your power first hand!"

Ibara didn't move as the sword planted into the earth," Oh? A small play? I am complacent to play along actually!"
Ibara's smiled cracked wider, as she stretched her neck. She spoke as she rolled up her sleeves," The Human village is quite dull, and I much rather spend my time with Youkai, after all it was the humans who vanished us...Then I was vanished by my kind...not many fight me these days." The sleeves where rolled up to her elbow, exposing long and deep scars, some fresher than others. The mysterious bartender pounded a fist into her open palm.
"I belive you are Kazami Yuuka? The owner of this plain!" She smiled removing her cap, and taking a bow," I am Ibara Hinarasu, the bartender and proud owner of Club Youkai, my past is my past, and a never forgetting one, I deny the nature of my kind."
"Being as you are the host, would you like to state the rules of the game? I am not as strong as most, but I will fight with my best of ability!"

Yuuka smiled at the announcement of her own name. It looks like her day will be interesting after all. "If you know who I am, then your confidence is either foolish, or well-earned. For your sake, I'll wager on the latter~" She stated bluntly, lifting her parasol and leveling its tip toward Ibara.
"Very well, Miss Hinarasu, the rules are quite simple: while Danmaku disallows the use of lethal techniques, the amount of pain one can inflict has no limit. As such, the first to concede, loses. Agreed?"
Yuuka gave another sly smile, her head tilted; "Oh, and try not to harm my garden. I'd hate to forget the rules and kill you by accident~<3" ((note: this is all just colorful boasting. like we spoke of earlier, Yuuka has no real intent on killing, she just talks a big game xP))

"Not well earned, I am not weak, but I am nothing compared to many Youkai," Ibara put her cap back on," I am just not scared of pain."
"I will be nice to your garden, I am a big fan of gardening, harming this place would be like destroying the Mona Lisa!" She stood in a more defensive stand, "Now, Ready Miss Kazami? I am looking forward to our game!"
((Nice~ Okay, hope you don't mind an oni~~~))

"As am...I!"
A quick thrust of her parasol toward the heavens, and the battle was on.
Sunflowers beside Ibara began to glow brightly and grow in size. Upon reaching almost twice their normal size, they burst in a shower of glowing, petal-shaped bullets. Following up the initial release, Yuuka kicked forward off the ground, thrusting her parasol at Ibara like a rapier.

The mysterious intruder looked up curiously at the flowers, she stood, until she saw the incoming shower. With a quick dash foward she managed to graze the barrage, but she was taken aback but Yuuka's rapier like trust.
She took the parasol's tip to the stomach before she reached out and grabbed the weapon with both hands. With a practiced spin on her toes she spun Yuuka around and released. "Woah-!" Ibara was definatly startled by the quickness of her host.
The iron tip of th parasol sure was tough, it had definetly made her cringe a tiny bit. "Wow! That was a very cool attack!" Her blood was boiling," My turn then!"
She seemed to crounch a bit lower, before dashing out, making a jump to come down with a heel kick directed at Yuuka's shoulder.

~Yuuka Kazami~
Yuuka traveled a few yards before she dug her boots and hand into the soil to catch herself. The strength and reflexes of her opponent were impressive, and certainly caught her off guard.
She looked up to see Ibara's immediate decent from the sky, no doubt to retaliate with an attack of her own. It was now she decided to test this girl's power. Yuuka made no attempt to avoid or defend herself against the incoming blow, allowing Ibara's kick to land heavily on her shoulder, sending a shudder through her body and temporarily disabling her arm. "Not bad... You're certainly very strong. But how strong is your will?" She said with a grin.
Unable to use her parasol at this moment, Yuuka instead forced a measure of her magic into the ground with her other hand, causing razor-thorned vines to sprout forth and attempt to entangle Ibara.

Ibara had landed, confused as to why Yuuka hadn't dodged. Of course, the bartender had only put enough strenght in her kick to disable not to rip off an arm!
"My will?" her puzzlement was cut short by the thorns comming up and wrapping around her arms and legs. She evidently grintted her teeth, the thorns had cut through her clothes and bare skin, leaving the tears to ooze out blood. She seemed to tremble a bit,"Oh roots."
With a glazed over look, Ibara pulled foward, in the same daash as before. HEad first she rammed into Yuuka, who might have had the chance to dodge.
Ibara plowed through (Yuuka or no Yuuka) sliding to a stop. She obviously still had the thorns in her arms, since she left a bloddied path behind her," Sorry about the vines-"

~Yuuka Kazami~
It seemed conventional restraint wasn't going to work on her, but at least some pain was inflicted. Yuuka raised and opened her parasol (having regained some feeling in her arm), shielding herself from Ibara's charge, although still being shoved back along with her. "Don't worry - there's more where that came from..."
Another vine burst from the ground, but instead of aiming for Ibara, it latched onto and wrapped around Yuuka's free hand and arm, creating a sort of gauntlet. Digging her heels into the ground once again to slow their advancement, Yuuka cocked her elbow and unleashed a straight-armed punch, aimed around the parasol and at Ibara's forehead.
