~ Prologue~
Ashlyn Camryn Thornsun, otherwise know as Ash, was merely seventeen years old when she disappeared. People have come up with their own theories about it, but nobody knows what really happened to Ashlyn. There were many search parties held to find her, but after a while of searching without any results, even Ashlyn's parents gave up on searching for her. The only person who didn't give up on finding Ashlyn was her best friend, Parker. The two had met in third grade. Ashlyn had been the shortest in their class and people picked on her for it. Ashlyn was still the shortest and people still made fun of her. Parker stuck up for her, tried to shield her from the mean names people called her. Sometimes he helped, other times there was nothing he could do to stop the harsh words. Now, Ashlyn was gone and nobody knew why.
